These definitely aren't as comfy as the pair I bought 4 years ago. The bad: Thus far, they've rubbed my heels and the area over the bone of my big toe. When I really loosen the shoe strings, it creates more space and feels better. The strings are more of a ribbon material than shoe string material and are very short. I can make a knot, but with difficulty. Also, there is not a ton of cushion under the ball of the foot. I planned to use them for commute walking, and u Dubit that's possible. The good: The heel is cushioned and secure. I really like the color. Maybe after the break-in process they'll be better, but I'm torn as to whether I should've purchased them.

I bought these thinking I'd wear them for the majority of an European trip. I read the reviews, and people said they walked a lot in them without a problem. I even wore them at home for a full day to make sure there were no issues. I forgot, however, that how much one walks at home vastly differs from the amount of walking one does on vacation. Within a day, I was in so much pain, with blisters and raw skin, that I couldn't wear these the rest of the trip. I was sorely disappointed. I'm hoping I'll be able to wear them as long as I don't walk too much, since I can't return them at this point. Not something one wants to say about shoes, but there it is. I do like the color and they go with a lot of my summer clothes.

Laces are almost too short to tie.

I love the comfort of Teva sandals, so I was disappointed when these didn't feel as nice. They're cute, but not comfy enough for my feet.

I returned the shoes (but kept the Ahnu pair because they run true to size).
