This is a wonderful high grade 'flip-flop'...however it is not good for even 'light hiking' in my opinion. I was looking for a simple answer and had enjoyed flipflops for years at the coast. I live in rural CO, and a sloped, rocky, cactusy 'hike' is out my back door or front door! I cannot afford to have the sandal come off. I should have bought the slip on sandal with heel and ankle straps to begin with...my bad. THAT sandal, just $10 more, is AWESOME.

This is my husband's go-to footwear. He has been using these for years. The last two times, we had to buy one every year, because the thong part broke. This time, I am ordering because the glue has come off and the footwear is "crocodiling" in the front. The quality seems to be going downhill.

length is good for a size 12, the over foot straps are loose for my 11.5 4 E foot

I had to return the shoe because it did not fit. The shoe was too wide but more than anything it was too high. Normal walking would cause it to slip off my foot.

Like the construction however the sizing is not true to size as the length is proper though they fit very loosely. I've owned Teva flip flops for many years and this is a huge change in fit. I've since ordered a size down to see if it still fits in length though is much more snug.

Loved my flip flops, however, the soles separated from the rest of the shoe- on both. Any suggestions to save them?

I wear a 10 1/2. Ordered size 11, too big. Exchange was super easy for a pair of 10s. Size 10 foot bed fits perfectly. Upper part of shoe a little loose and shoe feels like it's going to fall off every step.

Great for those of us with Wide feet.
Double check the size, these are sized large.
I bought size 8, but was too big so gave to my son. He was thrilled because he has such wide feet, he can't find shoes that fit...these fit him like a glove.

I have owned more than 10 pairs of the pajaro flip flops. I wear them every day. they are very comfortable and fir well. Every pair without fail has the straps come out of the sole in -9 months, I can usually glue them back in and get a couple more months out of them. the ones I have now just broke for the first time. Looking for suggestions of similar product that will stay together longer.

Hopefully this sandal will match the 15 year life of its predecessor.

the base of this shoe is very uncomfortable for me due to a previous injury that still causes rediculopathy. I have tried the langdon's and they do not cause this problem at all. I need to return them.

I like nearly everything about these sandals. The down side, for me, and it is a big one is the toe strap rubs when I walk and I wouldn't be able to walk very far without developing a blister. A major disappointment. I contacted the company, asking if they had a fix for this and they said no. I told them how they could fix this and it's simple, but their response was just return them. I found that response to be another disappointment and that is sad. They wouldn't even consider the suggestion.

I really like the look, and its comfortable. I normally wear a size 12 shoe, sandal, boot, etc. I got a 12 and these seem to be a bit too large in the strap/thong. I spend a lot of time walking trying to keep them from sliding off. I am afraid if I use an 11 it will be too small.

Year's ago I bought my first pair of Tevas flip flops, this style and I couldn't say enough good about them, they lasted everything I put them though, hiking, biking, river fishing, canoeing kayaking, yes I finally found a flip flop that I wore the soles out after a couple or three years. Very impressed. But the last two pairs I bought we're not made as well and the straps pulled out of the sole. The first two pairs I wore the soles out and the straps stayed intact. Something changed with the manufacturer? I would not spend the extra money for these anymore. I have had to throw out the last two pairs that barley made a year. To me the extra costs was well worth it when you wear out the sole's and they stand up to anything you dish out. I will look for another brand that hopefully holds up better.

I have an entire workbench of tevas as the glue you use is junk. The tabs that hold the tops come loose all the time and the glue on the toe comes loose more often than it should

The size 12 was larger than my old size 13 from a different brand. It's been uncomfortable, the sole felt rather hard and the straps were too tight for D - Medium width that I normally get. The front of the straps left a red line on my feet after having them on indoors for about five minutes. Yes, they were returned...

Bought these wanting to get durable flip flop for everyday use. They are very comfortable, but after 3 months of daily use the side strap came lose from the sole. I've had $10 flip flops that have lasted longer. Matter of fact that's what I'm wearing now while I search for another pair to try.

I have worn several pairs of Teva sandals of different types over the years and been very pleased. However, I found the fit of the Pajaro model to be very wide and the stretch in the straps exaggerate that width making them uncomfortable as it allows my foot slides around to the point of discomfort. I would not recommend this sandal.
I previously responded to a email asking about my satisfaction. I gave the same critique. The response was that I would be contacted by customer service. Yeah, right. Last pair of Teva's I will buy.
