They're not as comfortable as I remember. Such a bummer

The "earth-friendly recycled polyester webbing" gives this sandal's footbed a texture that feels more like an abrasive exfoliator than an insole. While otherwise a cute sandal that fit well, the uncomfortable footbed meant that I could not comfortably wear it without socks, so I am initiating a return.

I used to recommend Tevas to everyone, but I cannot recommend them anymore.
13 months in, I noticed the sole splitting apart, disrupting my walks. The straps began to fray long before that. This is all from walking in the city and going on two short (< 3 mile) hikes. They've never been submerged in water either.
This is my second pair of Tevas this has happened to. Call me crazy, but shoes should last longer than that.
I gave 2 stars because I adored them before they broke.

I've had 3 pairs of Teva Hurricane sandals and liked them very much. The soles of these sandals aren't comfortable to my feet. Far too pebbly on the inside(top). I'll continue to wear and replace the Hurricanes but won't repeat this model.

While the footbed is soft and Chisholm, the straps are hard plastic and have given me blisters, even wearing for short periods of time. Now I have layers of moleskin, which is helping a tiny bit. Ouch! Know this before you purchase!

Cheaply made, gave me blisters when wet, soles of sandals aren't very thick! Paid a lot of money for the namebrand that's for sure.

I had a pair of Tevas that lasted a long time and I was happy to pay more for them due to the quality. My Labrador Retriever chewed the buckle off my Tevas and I needed a new pair. I couldn't find a pair for the water, (rivers, creeks, you know, muddy) with buckles. I didn't want white or light colored. It didn't look like that had any with buckles anymore or at least not the same kind. The sole on the kind I got was so thin. They have thicker but they look like platform not for being sporty. The fabric also wasn't as thick and had a lot of thread coming out of the fabric.

I thought I would give these a try since they were on sale, big mistake! The quality/ comfort doesn't compare to the shoes I have been wearing:Chaco's. They were too flat for my taste and they rubbed my feet in the wrong placesdefinitely not a fan (I have narrow feet)

The surface where your bare foot contacts is rough and hurts my feet. I'll be returning them.

The shoe is cute, but the quality is terrible. I will not buy another pair or Tevas. The bottom of the shoe is like a flip flop material and not a good arch supporting shoe.

Would not recommend for those who have soft feet or sensitive bottoms of feet. The rough texture was brutal and hurt my feet for two days. I finally bought soft insoles and glued them down. I have my original Tevas that had suede soles.

Wanted these for walking. Never had to break in a pair of Tevas before. Have to wear moleskin on both feet. Not like the Tevas that were like walking on a cloud.

They're fine. Disappointing after having Tevas hyped to me for years. The velco straps rub in weird places against your ankles and feet, the bottoms are so slippery, the straps take a long time to dry out. But they are shoes that will keep your feet from directly touching the ground.
Glad I got them on sale and not full price.

While the straps and practice triangles get uncomfortable, the footbed of the sandal is the torturous part. I don't know if it's the texture, the way the foot sits on the shoe, or a combination; both caused giant blisters on both feet

I am usually a 7.5/8 but other reviews said to size up. I should have sized down. When walking my foot would slide back because of how the straps fit. It would cause me to trip on the excess. Overall would be comfortable sole but straps and sizing need adjusting.

I use the shoes for Kayaking mostly. I need shoes that are good for in and out of the water all the time and I have always had Teva's but my last two pairs that I have owned for 10+ years literally fell apart. I ordered these because I thought they were the same and I was wrong. I wear a 9 normally and I am so sad Teva doesn't have half sizes because these are too long. I need an 8.5 but an 8 is too small.

I wore these shoes five times and got extremely bad blisters every time. I got blisters on both of my little toes, one of my big toes, and the bottom of one of my feet. They fit well and are very cute. Hopefully, I can find a solution to my blister problem!

Bought a size 10 but I have a narrow foot so the Velcro strap was so long it dragged on the ground. I tried to loosen them to make it shorter but then I kept tripping. Will probably just cut the strap.

The product feels cheaper than I was expecting. I am a 6 1/2 and was told to get a 7 since Teva doesn't offer half sizes. They were massive. Like wearing big flippers. I wanted a refund but was told since I didn't have the original box they couldn't help me. (I threw the box away so maybe that was my bad). Overall I'm not impressed and will not be buying these again.

I got this on recommendation from friends. I understand that they are meant to act like a cross between flip flops and hiking shoes but to me I thought they were neither rugged enough to hike or comfy enough to wear to the beach. Personally I would just rather wear hiking boots or flip flops or crocs. Just didn't suit my needs very well but I can see the appeal for people who don't need them to be as good on the trails. Admittedly I may have used them on rougher terrain than they are intended for but I was not very satisfied. Also the second my feet started to sweat I felt like I was walking on two slip and slides. My toes would hang over the shoe from the slippery soles.

I love my black Tevas. I was really excited for the Sand Dune color, but these are less of a rich cognac color and more like a pale cardboard color. Bummed to have to return.

I've owned a couple of Forebay-style Tevas, including one pair that I still use for work in the garden and yard. The Original Universals have been a disappointment. The footbed is rough, and they provide little upper support. Based on others I'd seen wearing Tevas, I thought I was getting more all-around outdoor footwear. Velcro can be a little irritating. Flimsier than I expected. Customer service was of little value when I called.

I like the looks of the sandals and the colors and pattern, but they very uncomfortable on my feet. I find the material of the footbed too rough for the bottom of my feet. I have some other styles of Teva sandals and do like them.

In the past I have shunned away from Teva's because of the style. This year they seem to have stepped up their game with some cute additions to the classics. However, they fact still remains that the top interlocking plastic they use in all of their designs is actually really uncomfortable. If you ever walk on sand with these shoes you will get sand under where the triangle plastic piece hits your foot. And for those of you who know what happens when any debris gets in there... Yup. Blisters. Every time! They are nice for city walking due to the amount of rubber cushion on the sole. But, totally disappointed as I had blisters the entire time I was in Mexico.
