Every time I wear them I have to put bandaids on the inside of my feet where the toe strap sots because it rubs so bad I get blisters. And then old blisters that are almost entirely healed then re-open

I used my prior Teva's for everything from hiking, beach and casual.
They were tough and handled any situation.
The "new" Teva's sole is not nearly as substantial as my old ones. The old ones had tough double soles
with great tread and traction. The NEW Teva's have rubber foam soles and are not nearly as tough.

I am happy with the appearance, fit, and comfort of the soles of these sandals, but the plastic triangle piece hits a spot on my foot that hurts at times when walking. It's not constant, so I'm going to keep them.
I've adjusted the straps, but regardless of position it still does this occasionally. I have a pair of Hurricane XLT's in the same size that I love and they have this same construction with this piece also, but they don't hurt at all.
On a side note, I typically wear a 7.5 - 8 in most shoes, but a 7 in Teva sandals fit me perfectly.

Not the amazing shoe I expected. They feel flimsy and both my pair (size 9 & my friends size 7) and very different tighter fit on the right shoe

It's my first purchase. The shoes feel flimsy and don't fit the same right foot to left foot on both my pair and my friends I bought on sale as a gift.

super comfy and holds my feet really well! The soles were soft, which I liked, and I didn't stub my toes. I wore it daily for a week for outdoor summer work (like I do my chacos) and they are now soo smelly! I will wash them and try to combat the smell but I was hoping for a comfy everyday outdoor work shoe and it's not quite the right level of zero-maintenance.

As much as I wanted to love this pair of shoes, my foot always slides to the back of the shoe after walking a few steps. I've tried adjusting the straps tighter, but my foot still moves. The quality is good as well as the print.

I bought this pair of sandals for the purpose of hiking in the tropics, and mistakenly did not test them out before the trip. Unfortunately, the are really tight across the front strap and squeezed my little toes, causing blisters and swelling after only 2 hours of hiking in them. It was incredibly uncomfortable and I never wore them again. Can't even return them because they are now dirty.

Fine as a camp shoe. Cannot walk very safely or comfortably outdoors. Nowhere for foot sweat to go so they can get smelly quickly which is very annoying. Also, the straps don't keep my foot in place very well so my feet slide really far back and sometimes my heel is completely off the sole of the sandal. Would not purchase this shoe again.

Soooooo.......I have been wearing the original Tevas for literally 30 years. I love the brand / functionality. These were supposed to be originals, but they don't fit like before. The foot size is fine......but the straps in the past were not crazy long, so I could really make them tight (I have super skinny feet) - I cannot make these tight without several inches of the straps sticking out / getting caught underneath. The print is so cute.........and I need these to be functional. I need to find out if I can cut the straps and maybe burn them to keep them from unraveling so I can make them fit. I will check with Customer Service.

First time to buy Teva for upcoming vacation and I bought four for each of us, and i tried it first going to the mall. I noticed that the fifth toe rubs to the side strap connector and causes discomfort. I wear size 8 but i bought sz 7 because the size 8 has about 1 inch spaces above the toes.

Although the soul is quite comfortable the straps don't work for narrow feet. The straps are very uncomfortable.

I have very flat feet and chacos just don't work for me. My feet aren't "wide," but they aren't quite the normal width. When I got these, they are AMAZING. They don't make my feet hurt or my back hurt. However, after owning them and wearing them with normal use, the soles began to fall off and detach from the base. I have reattached with a special shoe adhesive as it is so rare I find comfortable shoes, but this was rather disappointing. Just be aware that the quality is a little lacking. I would recommend if someone had similar feet to me and the need for comfort, but with a buyer beware warning!

I had to alter the straps and add material to make the straps long enough. Fortunately, I have the skills to do that so that it cannot be seen and no one would guess that they had been altered. Other than that, I like them.

I loved this sandalsuntil two weeks into wearing them I noticed that the sole of the heel on the right sandal was coming away from the rest of the shoe. For the price of the sandals, I expected a higher quality.

There are not enough adjustment points and the padding under the straps is too thin
I have my original Tivas with construction cement holding on the soles. Still comfortable after all these years

I have always thought that this was a great invention in the world of footwear. Had them since 1992.
The previous Teva sandals I had, Torin M's, had arch support and contour and worked well for me to do a bit of walking in. That model was no longer available so I purchased Original Universals. The sole of this model is completely flat, which sometimes results in catching the front on something and tripping. Also, right and left are not mirror image fit with the straps so I am further forward with my right foot. Overall I am disappointed with these new Tevas.

These sandals are ok for the sale price. Won't wear them all day long, probably around the house since they are not very comfortable and doesn't have an arch support.

I was looking for a comfortable, everyday sandal. I was advised Tevas were a perfect choice so I bought the originals. It feels like they have no sole support and just wouldn't be great for long treks. They are cute though.

The footbed texture is too course feeling for my liking and I want to wear them barefooted.
The strap across my little toes feels out of place.
I'll use them at the pool.

I've had several pairs of Teva sandals over the years, but this is my least favorite pair so far. While they fit well and are comfortable, the soles do not offer much traction and are very flimsy, and I've managed to shred them much quicker than my older pairs. I do not need or want the newer styles with the arch support, but I dearly miss the grip and traction my old sandals offered.

I am not really happy with these shoes. I should have know better than to order without seeing them. I have had several pairs of Teva's, but these are very stiff and run larger than the ones I had previously
