These shoes were super comfortable right out of the box. I love the moons and stars! They are light weight and seem sturdy enough for the kind of walking I will likely be doing in them. The only reason I didn't give that 5th star is that they don't really have arch support, which is something I find I need more as I get older. But in general, I love them!

These are great for just casually walking around, but not for hiking like they used to be. They are not as firm at the base, don't really protect your foot and allow your foot to slide side to side in them. Still very comfortable, but disappointed compared to the ones I had 15 years ago.

These shoes are super comfy and great to wear ! However I do have an older pair and the straps on these new ones rub against my feet and sometimes cause blisters ! That's the only down side otherwise they are perfection ! Wondering if they changed the material of the straps !

After I did the straps with a black magic marker, I like them

While I would purchase this again, the material for the sole feels more "plastic" than the older versions of the original had. Straps were right on and the Velcro's adjusted speedily

Could use half sizses

I like the minimalistic feel and look of the Teva. My foot likes the fresh air. My previous brand had a lot of rubber and nylon and while they were good for many activities, I didn't need that much any longer. I have worn these with socks and without around the house (it's winter) and I look forward to test-driving them on the trail in a couple of months. I gave 4 stars because I want to try them outside before really raving about these comfortable, simplistic sandals.

I ordered these instead of Chaco's because of the price difference. - The most negative thing that stood out to me was how the edges seemed like they were just cut out of a machine. (they still had little pieces of the material attached that came out with a rub. - the most positive thing is the price and designs.

Not suitable for northern climates. My toes were pretty chilly last night, but surprisingly a lot of arch support.

Strap across top of foot rubbed on the side beneath big toe, gave me a blister. Bandaid helped.

Comfortable and cute

Tevas generally run large, and the Universal is no exception. I normally wear size 10 and I had to actually go down to 8 to find a pair that fit! That aside, the Universal is a great sandal. The classic Teva. I like how it looks and feels. While I would have preferred having an adjustable back strap, the Universal is otherwise well designed. Easy to get on and off, and very comfortable once worn in a little. However, the overall spongey feel makes it less than idea for any serious walking. (Check out the Universal Trail).

I like that you can adjust straps to fit comfortably.

The Teva Universal sandal is a very simple, effective design. After a little bit of break-in, it's very comfortable. I would have preferred an adjustable back strap, especially as your feet tend to slide back a little bit. They are easy to keep clean and are suited for most walking purposes. However, if you are between sizes, size down. I'm normally a 9.5, but the 10 was too large, had too much space in front of the toes. I went for the 9 instead, which fit a lot better. There is still space in front of my toes, but it's not as obvious and looks much better. It would be nice if in the future, Teva made half-sizes. There is also no toe loop, so if you have narrow feet, they will slide a bit laterally.

The grip- py traction so that your feet will not slip gets to be too rough on the soles of my feet by the end of the day.

I figured I should size down bc a handful of reviews mentioned these shoes run large - from my experience they do not. I'm a size 8, my feet are kinda narrow, not at all wide, so I figured I should probably size down. I ordered a 7, and while they do fit, the band on the show that sits near the pinky toe caused discomfort. And every time I would take a step I could feel this little bump underneath the band inside the shoe bed. I'm guessing it's supposed to be there given how the band is sewn into the shoe. This wasn't any kind of shoe defect either. All the shoes I received in my recent order were like this, they all had a little bump inside the shoe bed. Plus, since I ordered these in a size smaller than my actual size, the band that I mentioned above kept rubbing against my pinky toe. It's uncomfortable and irritating. The shoe bed itself is kinda narrow. So if you have narrow/wide feet, i'd recommend ordering your true size or even ordering a size up. The shoe bed itself is super comfortable though, really squishy and soft. I've never owned Teva's before and bc of the way the shoe looked in the picture I thought they'd be really stiff and hard. They are anything but. So that was really nice lol. The shoes look exactly as pictured. The colors and design are true to the photos in the listing. Such a bummer I didn't choose my normal size haha. Or even getting a size up. Anyways, pls do not size down, just get your normal shoe size. And if your feet are wide definitely size up :)

They are comfy and fit well

I love these shoes and I wear them everyday. I always wanted the original style but when I was young I had a different pair gifted to me. The one thing that I miss is the back being adjustable. I really wanted a green pair but the women's shoes don't come in green, so I got a size 8 in men's and I normally wear a women's size 9.5 in most shoes. They fit PERFECT. I was worried the shape might be too bulky but they really are a perfect fit. Can't wait to wear them next summer. They are perfect for kayaking!

Comfortable shoe from the start. Not a lot of arch support but good for me because I'm flat footed. Worn for a week -no blisters!

Love them, as expected per usual from Teva. Only wish I had bought sooner so they had my first choice in color.

Great sandals

It is my first time using a Teva product and I've only worn it a couple of times. So far it has been a good experience

Not the sturdiest, but very comfortable.

Really cute design, but the straps are just way too long.
