I wear overalls just about everyday, come rain or shine. It's difficult to find a pair that fit well and comfortable. The Carhartt denim overalls are very comfortable. The only thing I'm not to crazy about are the type of fasteners that were used for suspenders, not convenient to use.

I wasnt sure what size to order, as I've gained so much weight since menopause. I'm 5'8 and weigh 189 pounds, so I ordered a large Tall...they were huge on me, too big through waist and too long which shocked me as I have a 34-36 inch inseam. I also wasnt happy with the color of the denim nor was I happy with the new fasteners to connect the straps to the bib. I prefer the old school fasteners. So I'm sending them back and not reordering.

Good quality, but I ordered the "short" size.... and they aren't very short. I'm 5'4 and pretty long waisted for my height. While the legs are short, the waist is still pretty long and the crotch hangs about mid thigh on me. I can easily shorten pants, but to shorten the waist is a bit of a pain. I will more than likely return.

Nice overalls but I returned them because the bottom leg portion was way too wide -- Reminded me of the old bell bottoms from the 70's. Would like them better if the legs were slimmer.

I purchased the Bib Overalls in a size Medium based on the size chart and other reviewers. They were enormous! I am 5'6 and weigh 133. I am returning them and thankful that Zappos has free return shipping.

These overalls are cut for a woman through the waist and hips, which is good. I returned them, though, for two reasons: 1. The bib sits really low. (I shortened the straps until I gave myself a wedgie and the top of the bib was still at nipple-level.) 2. True to the description, these have a (very) wide leg.

Carhartt is the only brand of overalls for tall women I have found that ARE NOT 100% cotton, which is exactly what I was looking for since what I got them for requires bending over frequently, hence needing stretch and give to move. Not uncomfortably stiff as a board. The inseam on these measures 33", not actually 34". I am 5'10", 135 lbs and need a true 34" inseam or longer because pants are supposed to go a little under your feet, not above them. Also, even when I adjusted the shoulder straps the longest and loosest they go, they were still a little too tight in the shoulders when bending over and squatting to test them out. They only fit fine around widthwise. I ordered a small tall, but am hesitant about exchanging them for a medium tall since Carhartt's sizing is so inconsistent! Their tops and jackets are made too big around in width and not long enough in lengthy, so I can only wear the vests as far as jackets go since I don't have to worry about any sleeves being too short. The original fit Crawford Dungaree (97% cotton 3% spandex) are great being long in length, but I ordered a 6 tall and they are pretty big around and in the fit overall. Guess that's what happens when clothing isn't made in the US!
