Service was good but shirts are way too big. Ordered wrong size

Tighter fit/cut than old Original Fit: I work as a carpenter and used to love this shirt. The old Original Fit was perfect- loose enough to work in, stayed cool in summer, and had room for layers in winter. The newer Loose Fit doesn't fit the same. The shirt is tighter and has a more tapered cut. I laid a Loose fit on top of an old Original fit and the cuts are definitely different. It's too bad, because the fit was one of the reasons I was willing to spend $20 on a T-shirt. This Loose Fit reminds me more of the old Relaxed Fit.

It is a bit bigger than expected. Hopefully it will be better after washing.

Not what they were. No more original fit. I bought these 10 at a time before. The quality is no longer there. The sizes are bigger than they say. Medium size is actually a large size. The cloth was much thicker than it is now. Hanes tee shirts are better quality. I'm disappointed they changed everything except the price.

I searched for the Force Ts and it took me to these shirts. Not a big fan of the loose fit.

I wear a 3x t-shirt. Next time I will have to get a 2x.

Why: Why can't I get original fit That's what I want. Same with Wranglers. I can't buy what I've been wearing for 50 years. Do you have any original fit shirts. 100% cotton, not the blends.

Not what I expected: Fit not very good and material is not very soft , it's kind of stiff even after 5 washes

Be careful about sizing: Tese shirt run very large. Ordered 2 larges that fit like XL which will now become expensive rags.

Order next size down! Quality is great, but sizing is really TOO BIG. This L is much closer to XL or XXL.

Too Long: Same great quality and the shoulders fit right. But the t-shirts are too long, or longer than they have ever been.

What happened? Carhartt, let me start out by saying my husband absolutely loves your T-shirts. At least, those you were producing two years ago. I recently ordered 6 shirts for him in various colors, because they were his favorite. Unfortunately, it looks like you've cheaped out on production. That heavy duty cotton feel he loved has been replaced by a lighter weight fabric. He threw them all in the washer before wearing them, so I couldn't send them back. Don't get me wrong - they're still better than Dickie's or similar brands, but definitely not the quality we were expecting from Carhartt. We're very disappointed.

I like the quality of the shirt . bought xlt, way to big. I am 6-2 225

not what expected: the color and fit and ware are all fine but the little flecks of color seem like like loose thread that got woven into the fabric so there are little bumps and bits that give it a texture i wasn't expecting. i thought it was just dye so slightly disappointed. had to spend a hour with a fabric pill shaver to wear it comfortably.

Loose Fit Heavyweight Short-Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt: Nothing like they used to be...should stop calling them "Heavyweight". And go back to making a heavyweight t-shirt and if need be charge more.

I purchased a 2x xl, length was perfect, a little tight in the midriff. I purchased earlier, a 3x xl, way to big. It's a work in progress for what fits me. I really like the product!!!

Nice quality but runs large: The quality and durability of this shirt is great but it runs too large. I hope I can still return it.

The shirts are OK, but way too heavy for me to wear. They have gone to the local charitable thrift shop. Might be good in a very cold climate. My fault for ordering heavyweight.

massive: It's about twice as big as every other XXL t shirt I have. Guess I'll wear it to bed since I won't be able to wear it in public as it looks like I'm drowning in it.

Good but not best: It is not as heavy as the t-shirts you carried 10 yrs. ago. I like them better!

Not as good as old original fit: The loose fit is OK for casual wear in hot climates but not good for working in cool conditions or around rotating machinery. I much preferred the old original fit shirts. in spite of what I have read, THE LOOSE FIT IS NOT THE SAME AS ORIGINAL FIT.

Excellent: Excellent experience

Fine shirt, size runs absurdly large: I wear an XL in every brand I wear, this XL was absolutely massive!
