Customer Reviews Carhartt Loose Fit Heavyweight Short Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt

I have worn Carhartt shirts for years. I love them because they are wearing longer than the standard T-shirts, and I don't like tight shirts, and the loose fit makes the Carhartt T-shirts more comfortable. I love the pocket on the shirt, and I use it for my phone caddy. Unfortunately, the shirt tends to tear at the top portion of the shirt where the pocket connects after a period of time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the actual heavyweight for the tee shirt. It is a nice weight. I was also surprised the 3XLT Loose Fit was tick too long even after washing and intentionally drying on High. That never happens for me at 6'6". I have already ordered a Relaxed fit to compare them.

Most of the time I were a 5xl, but this runs big. Should have gotten a 4xl

Runs really large. I normally wear and XXL and it's a slightly large on me and this XXL was darn near a XXXL size. I'm returning them for an XL

The only T-Shirt I'll wear

While well made like all other Carhartt products, it was as big as an XL. It shrunk some in the wash but was still too large. I liked the relaxed fit much better.

OK, these have become my new favorite T-shirt. Perfect fit.

Is perfect and soft

These shirts look great on my husband who is a big, handsome guy. They hold up well over lots of washes. I like that there is a great variety of colors.

Can someone tell me why the fit changed from original to loose fit and the K87 stock number stayed the same? For years I have bought this K87 and they always said original fit. Mow my last order for six shirts say loose fit and all of them fall off me. I would think if you are changing the fit that you would at least have changed the model number to indicate something has changed? It's hard to swallow $200.00 these days.

I bought it for my son to be given at Christmas. They look real nice and feel good.
