Wore these shoes for about a year of gym climbing. It was my first climbing shoe and think it's a great beginner shoe. Loved the Velcro and fit for my flat feet. Was able to progress into 5.11's with these, where I then upgraded.

I ordered a 38.5. (I wear these without socks.) I wear a size 8 in street shoes. I am a beginner climber. I climb 2-4 times a week. I have been using these shoes for about a month so far. I mainly climb indoors, but have used them for outdoor climbing as well. I don't have anything to compare them to other than my gym's rental shoes, but I like them. I was worried they may be too small at first, but after breaking them in (which only took a few climbing sessions,) they ended up working just fine! I haven't tried washing them yet. I'm putting that off for as long as possible. I haven't had issues with fraying or wear and tear yet.

I got these about a year ago as my first pair of climbing shoes after only climbing in rented shoes for a couple months. These were the perfect first shoe for me. I climbed in them about 5 days a week for a year and they did absolutely everything I asked of them from both indoor and outdoor. Break in only took a few days. The first day was pretty painful but after that they were fine and are actually quite comfortable. I wear an 8 in street shoes and got a 7.5 in these which worked well for my first shoe. I love how these are washable however because they are synthetic, after about 6 months there was not really anything I could do to get the smell out because I climb barefoot. However this wasn't a huge issue and putting dryer sheets in them when not climbing helped. After a year these have finally started to show wear on the toes and the grip isn't quite what it used to be. I decided to get the Miura next because I need something more aggressive and better for tiny holds. I am going to keep my oxygym's for outdoor stuff and to use while I break in the new shoes. Overall these are a great buy that were an amazing first shoe!

These were my first ever shoes when I began climbing. I've used them for about a year climbing 2 times a week inside both top rope and bouldering. I'm only climbing about 5.9 and V1-V2 but the shoes definitely made my feet feel confident using the smallest holds in that difficulty range. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way the velcro closure gives you a chance to change the angle every time for a comfort fit no matter how swollen or gross my toes were that day,. I've finally worn a hole through the toe on the left foot and thus it's time to retire them and get something in the moderate-aggressive range. I'm really going to miss that style of velcro closure when I upgrade; none of the other La Sportiva models seem to also have the large pad on the side allowing for a custom fit.

I bought these shoes as an indoor (mostly) bouldering shoe in May 2019, wore them once or twice a week until i noticed a large tear and the rubber bottom part of the sole coming off of the heel! I really like the fit of the shoe and how secure the velcro is, however the tear in the heel quickly turned into tears on the toe, and not just from wear and tear but from what I believe are weak points in the rubber. Not super well made, but comfortable fit. I will be going back to laces and leather shoes for my next la sportiva shoe!

I bought these shoes about 2 months ago. They fit great, but the sole of one of them is already peeling off. I gym climb with frequency, but not to the degree that there should be this much wear and tear on them.

Ive been wearing these shoes to the gym for about 5 months now and I had to sew the strap on them because if was fraying really bad and going to come apart. The sole is good, but if you want to get good use out of your shoes, I highly recommend finding a shoe with stronger straps than these ones
