I bought these because I work on my feet 8-12 hours a day. I have very narrow feet with very high arches. These shoes are the best I have found in terms of overall comfort.

Very typical Nike 9½M, as always consistent sizing across the board. The Nike FT 3.0, wow, far exceeded my expectations. The are purpose designed for the gym, although they do not advertise them for that. The arch support is firm, but not overly, some might wish for a bit more, I think it is just right, and I usually seek hearty arch support. It is a 100 percent synthetic sneaker, the first pair I ever purchased. The mesh like material breathes like a sandal, but seems as though you would need a razor to cut it, not delicate at all, my biggest concern. These are very light, more than many running sneakers, but the shoe once laced up is so supportive, it is almost like a low top basketball sneaker, but better. It is a very confident fit. The soles have a low heel, which is why they make a great work out shoe for the gym, you could do heavy squats in them without taking them off. The cushioning is more than you would need unless you were running over two miles daily, then this sneaker is not for you. The biggest surprise was that the picture does the sneaker no justice. They are sleek, contoured, and would go quite well with a pair of Levi's for an all day walk in New York City. If your purpose is what I described, this sneaker gets a 9 out of a possible 10. I am not sure a sneaker or shoe could score higher, given the subjectivity in the end that determines your satisfaction. These are highly recommended.
I'd also recommend:
Nike and Timberland are identica in a 9.5 M for me consiastently, as well as Kenneth Cole for shoes.

These are super comfortable shoes. I can feel my feet getting a better work out then in my 5.0s. The durability and quality is typical Nike.

The shoes are very nice and are light and run very well. The only problem is that the size shoe I wear is 13 and these felt bigger than 13.

These sneakers are amazing! They fit and feel perfect for running or just casual wear. Plus, the green colors look really cool. I even bought a second pair to keep in pristine condition.

I've received so many compliments for these sneakers. They are really comfortable and awesome looking in person. These pics don't do the sneakers justice. I will be ordering the bright yellow ones when they come back in stock!!

Bought these for my husband & he really likes them. They do run half a size too small. He is always a size 10 & we had to exchange them for a 10.5 which was a breeze to do with Zappos! He wears them for cardio & weight training only.

This is my first Nike in about seven years. Fit and finish is nice. And I played badminton with my kids on asphalt and I was able to run around with great agility and acceleration. I love these! I bought the grey/orange and the orange is bright...really bright, like neon orange. I love this color combo. I might have to buy another pair in different color.

Favorite pair of shoes I have bought in the past few years. Well worth the price! I will caution they do have more of an arch than expected but even for my flat feet it hasn't caused any real discomfort.

This is my second pair. Everything is as true as the first, plus the color on these are out of this world! Really loving the Volt!

Was very pleased with how comfortable these were. I'm a larger man and do bodybuilding so comfort is huge while in the gym. I was blown away with how light on the feet they were also. First pair ordered was the all black and I just ordered the black/highlighter yellow.

I did not like the fit and comfort of the shoe - all of the Nike free's fit like gloves and this was boxy and not form fitting. I love Nike Free (and have 4 pairs) but had to return these!

Not as comfortable as my Nike Free Run. They also seem to run about one half size larger than the Nike Free Run. There's nothing "wrong" with these shoes, but they just aren't as nice as the Free Runs. I bought them because the color is acceptable at work. Not too easy to find black sneakers anymore.

The shoes have a fun, modern vibe to them, and are nicely lightweight. Unfortunately, the sole support leaves a lot to be desired, which became very clear after a half mile's worth of walking.

My Asics gave out and are no longer made, so I gave these a shot. Got these in black, hoping they would be nondescript - I hate neon. They looked like nurses shoes; seriously ugly. I still would have kept them if they had been appropriate for me. I work out on average 3 hours a day including 50 minutes of cardio and heavy lifting. I need cross trainers that breathe, support my lousy ankles, and keep my pronating gait to a minimum. These made my feet sweat insanely, even before I got on the treadmill, and I felt very minimal support - especially laterally. I sent them right back. Do not buy these if you are serious about cross training.

I ordered night factor/white/atomic orange for my husband. The picture appears to be grey and orange. When the sneakers arrive they were actually more of a deep teal and orange. If you are looking for great and orange this is not the sneaker for you. They might be getting returned just based on color so I am not able to review any other part of the sneaker.

Terrible fit, the most uncomfortable training shoe I ever tried. Cannot be worn without socks and with socks two snug over the width of the foot.
