Amazing water shoe. I have finally found the flip-flop/sandal alternative I've been looking for. Flip-flops hurt my feet, sandals didn't really do the trick either. These are perfect for walking around all day in the warm summer weather and transition seamlessly into and out of the water. The shoelaces they come with are too long so I bought a shorter pair, but otherwise these are perfect.

These are not for sandy/rocky conditions. These are miserable if you get them in sandy conditions. Small rocks become embedded in the lining of the shoes making them unwearable. They are very uncomfortable. Yes, they drain water, but not much else.

This is a great outdoor shoe! I have bunions and this shoe has enough room so there are not effected and, as a result, are very comfortable.

I have worn these to water / theme parks, kayaking and white water rafting. Definitely the best looking and feeling water shoe I have ever worn. They don't look completely like a sneaker if you're looking closely but they definitely do not look like a water sock. Arch support isn't very good but I have worn them for 6+ hours at a theme park with no major discomfort.

I love these shoes. They are very lightweight, comfortable and breezy. A great effect of the holes in the soles is that when you lift your feet air flows through them really nicely. It is vaguely like your feet are barefoot in those moments and it is really nice. I got these for general purpose use in hot and humid Iowa summers. After wearing them about five times in the last two weeks, my only complaint with these shoes is that there is a section of the sole just behind my little toe where it rises up. This spot shoves itself into my foot a little bit causing no real discomfort, but just a strange place. I have noticed this seems to be flattening out over time as the shoe breaks in, so that may be all it needs. I have taken multiple 40 minute walks up/downhill in these shoes though, and my feet felt fine afterward with no discomfort. I also want to note that they squeaked for a whole of about five seconds after I first tried them on, but I simply rubbed them gently on the floor a little bit and they have not squeaked since.

I bought these shoes in preparation for my trip to the Maldives. I wanted something I can walk into the water in (among the rocks and other prickly stuff), something I can wear casually throughout the resort, and something that didn't look like a wet sock as I walked around. Maldives is in May, but I did test them both casually and in the water. Background/Fit: I have a very low arch and was initially worried that the sole wouldn't be wide enough for my pancake feet. In actuality they are just fine. Not too narrow, not too wide. I normally wear a size 12 in casual shoes, but opted/guessed for the 11.5, since I figured a little snugness in the water wouldn't hurt, and I probably wouldn't be wearing socks with. I'm glad I did as I seemed to have hit the sweet spot. The laces feel almost like a normal shoe and hold my feet firmly. I can't imagine too much sand or any rocks entering the shoe in the water, but a walk on the beach after might require an occasional rinse as I can see sand pressing through the sole. They don't have any support or major cushion, but I didn't really expect them to as I'm not hiking or running a marathon in them. In the water I feel they would be perfect for protection against seashells or rocks. They feel like very light shoes on the feet. Function: I think they'll serve my purpose well. I wore them to the pool the other day and no one could believe they were "water shoes". I dunked both feet in the water, and while it felt weird (like I was trying to ruin a pair of regular, casual shoes, it was pretty neat when I pulled them out and the water poured out of the nifty holes in the sole. The dried much faster than a regular pair of shoes would, but I wouldn't say it was lightning fast. They mostly dried, accept for the humid, moist feeling, a couple of hours later, which was fine for me. They don't leave you walking in a slushy hot mess, but it stays slightly damp for a while after water until the neoprene bits and webbing can fully dry. By the time I got home it was fine. Without socks, though, I could sense that I would develop hot spots at some point, but what can you expect after soaking your shoes, then walking for a long time afterwards? Style: They look far more stylish than any water capable shoe I've had before. I wouldn't hesitate to take a short stroll to a beach cafe or waltz around the resort right after water use.

Best shoes ever. I think I bought 10 pairs of these. I have all the colors Zappos had. Super comfortable, I love the style. Perfect for summer season and for any activity. Just love them!

I ordered these shoes for work. And found myself needing to order a pair for the summer. I work with kids all day so I walk A LOT and they are the best. A nice light weight summer shoe to grab and go.

I wanted some heavy duty water shoes that were lightweight and comfortable and that is exactly what I got. They feel like a regular Adidas athletic shoe from a comfort standpoint, yet extremely light. I can see myself wearing these in the summer with or without water.

I've only worn these around the house a bit to break them in before a cruise at the end of August. They are very airy and more comfortable than I thought they'd be, although there is minimal arch support. I was concerned the rubberized tongue might be too hard on my skin, but it's been hardly noticeable so far. The laces are very sturdy and provide a very consistent fit all the way around. I haven't yet tested what they're like when wet, or how long they'll take to dry, but I'm more interested in comfort, and on that note these fit the bill so far.

I bought these for my 17 year old son who works as a dock boy at a local marina. The dock has been under water and he ruined 2 pairs of sneakers so far this season. He didn't like the look of them online but he said they are better in person. of course, now the water level is down but he swears he will wear them when it rains or lake level rises again. They seem to be well made so I am happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a pair of sneakers I could use to wade through shallow rivers, and these worked great. They are very light, and they dry quickly. I will use them for sailing, too.

These shoes are awesome. I didn't even buy these to use as a quote/unquote water shoe. I bought them for summer - a shoe that's lightweight, comfortable and breathes well (I hate sandals). I wasn't sure if these were actually designed to be comfortable enough to walk around in, but indeed they are. They are slightly narrow (I have a narrow foot, and these are snug so beware). Otherwise, this is exactly the summer shoe I was looking for.

Very nice shoes they don't have insoles, so the inside is not too soft, but these are water shoes, I guess they should be like this. I like how they look and have been using them a lot. I really like them.

I wore these shows on a kayak trip and a walk around town and had no problems at all. They quickly dried after being in the water, and I also did not experience any discomforting while walking around town. These shoes are a great alternative to your typical water shoe.

Boat Lace are my ideal summer shoe. They're light, ventilated and more comfortable & stylish than sandals. I bought two color options just so that I could wear them almost exclusively this summer. Just know, that if you step in a puddle or it rains, your foot will get wet.

Bought these as water shoes for a camping adventure, they're stylish, durable and quick-drying as advertised. Occasionally have comfortably worn them around town on hot summer days instead of flip-flops and they definitely breathe well. Highly recommend them!

These shoes look great and are very comfortable. I bought them for a white water rafting trip, so I'll put them through their paces this weekend when I go out. But, I love that they have a mesh covering on the bottom/insole, so my foot doesn't stick and feel gross/sweaty the way I get with Crocs, Tevas, and Keens. So far, these are a super cute, super comfortable pair of summer shoes.

My husband purchased these for the lake and he love them. Settled on these after trying several options. They keep out stones and dirt.

Pretty solid; definitely on the more stylish side of the set of shoes I have. These have become my work shoes as they are nice enough to wear to formal settings (obviously depending on the color choice), but also work well for playing around outside. Size-wise I've found discrepancies between Adidas models - these run 1/2 size larger than the Terrex Solo and a 1/2 size smaller than the Terrex Swift - so a size 9.5 CC boat shoe is the exact same length as a size 9 Terrex solo. Pretty comfy; minimal arch support, so if you have low arches you might want to use a custom insole.

I LOVE these boat shoes. We order them every year for our boys and they wash and wear extremely well. They have holes in the bottom for drainage so we don't necessarily wear them on rainy days but I LOVE them for an alternative to an amphibious sandal (summer camp!). They look brand new every time we wash them!An added bonus: they are super comfy right out of the box. I think they run true to size.

Pretty good all around summer shoe. I wanted a single shoe I could use for a month's vacation of trail hiking, beach/tidepool exploration, and walking around town, instead of having to pack Keens, flip flops & sneakers. This did the job. A couple observations: The sole is very soft and pliable, more so than the Keens I usually wear for outdoor use. After days scrambling around rocky trails and tidepools, my arches reminded me that this is just a flat soled water shoe. Mesh fabric = stinky odors. The laces it comes with are way too long. I immediately swapped them out for 32" laces, which seem a better match for a shoe with fewer eyelets. Had them just over a month and wore them everywhere, including extended time in salt water. They've held up so far, but not sure about long-term durability. The tongue is very soft foam that I can easily see disintegrating into chunks if you pull it too firmly. Also, where the heel cup is cemented to the sole seems like it will be the first thing to tear away. Neither has happened after a month of heavy use, so I'm pleased with this shoe so far.
