I do not know where to begin, these boots are spectacular! The zoom feature online does not really do justice for how great these boots look. I mean they are just quality boots. The contrast between the two leather textures is just marvelous and the purple suede piece on the back. I mean if you do not mind spending so much coin for quality shoes that with care will last you for years! Than do yourself a favor and get you a pair of these or put them on your Christmas list. I have not had opportunity to wear mine yet but they will go great with a pair of chinos and a blazer or a suit or even a nice pair of dress jeans. I love them and love Zappos!

Right out of the box they were incredible. Excellent tones of leather. About a half size big, which is perfect as I sometimes wear a 14. They're a bit snug over the top, but as they conform to my foot, I anticipate they'll be absolutely perfect. Don't settle for the others. This boot is the real deal.

Awesome looking boots, loads of compliments. Several other reviews suggested ordering a half size smaller, which I did, but found them a bit snug across the top. I'd order true to size. They're breaking in nicely so far and seem to be of the same high quality as the brand's shirts, suits, etc. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Just wanted to echo the other reviewers - the boot runs a little large. I wear a size 11 and ordered a 10.5. I probably could've ordered a size 10 to fit more snug but it's nice to have the option to wear thick socks in the winter. The boots are stiff out of the box and not the most comfortable. I'm sure with a little wear they will soften up. I ordered the tan leather boot and the color is pretty accurate to the photo, although it's a little more brown and less orange. The purple stripe on the back and the extra purple laces that come with are a nice, subtle touch to separate the boot from being run of the mill (it comes with brown laces, too). They're really sharp looking boots and I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. It's a keeper!

Wow, these are some beautiful boots! The design is great with the purple cloth section on the back and the purple laces that come in addition to the brown ones. Stiff out of the box, I'm sure they will take some time to break them in. I bought a half size smaller than what I normally buy, as that is what the other reviewer suggested, and that worked out fine. I may have been able to go down to an 11, but I think the 11.5 will suffice. This is a dressy boot that will look good with dress pants, chinos, or a nice pair of jeans. Very happy this this purchase.

I wear a 45 / 10.5 and that size was huge! Exchanged for a 43 / 10 and still room for casual socks. Sweet kick, though!

After trying several different boots, I settled on this pair. Very stylish, although not sure what is up with the purple stripe down the back. They fit fairly well, however, all these boots to me feel very stiff as I'm not used to wearing this kind of shoe. Don't expect to walk long distances but great for going out. Not very warm, but you likely can wear a thicker sock. Felt a half size large.

The leather has a quality thickness and the styling is nicely brogue. The only thing I noticed (and you really have to look close) is the leather "cracking" very minutely on the toe. This could be normal for all I know, doesn't really alter the look and doesn't bother me. These have a little break in. The tread on the sole is super nice. The blue dye on the inside of the boot is a little annoying in that it comes off onto your socks. I want to thank Ted Baker company for putting in a fairly anatomical foot bed. It actually has a slight arch and is very comfortable. Unlike a lot of expensive boot and shoe companies these guys actually think about real feet.

Great shoe although after wearing once one of the shoelace ringlets came off. Zappos was nice enough to refund partial credit and I had it fixed. After a couple more wears another ringlet popped out, so now I have to get that fixed. It's not an expensive fix, but you would expect better construction from Ted Baker. I will never by this brand again.
