I love the fit and function. Comfortable, flattering. Good for casual, hiking, dress up or down. But after 18 months they look like crap. Pilled every where and looks awful. My trusty pill shaver does not work on this. Have never experienced this poor quality fabric from Columbia before. I have a 12 year old hiking skirt I have worn 100+ times that is barely pilled.

Before returning this item that had originally been purchased as a gift for a family member, I decided to try them, although I had no real purpose or need for them. I generally dislike capris, with the exception of tighter running specific capris, so this is not a style I would normally wear. No one I know pays fifty bucks for around the house capris, though. These were surprisingly thin and stretchy, so movement isn't restricted, but what made these a keeper was the water resistance and not being too hot when I wore them outside in 80 degree weather to water the garden. It was nice being able to kneel or squat down in the garden without having to sacrifice comfort or feel scratchy rough material on my knees. These might come in handy as a comfy change of clothes when returning to the truck from a long day of kayaking or after a muddy trail run.

I would be really happy with these capris if they had a regular snap closure instead of the pull string. I have several of this style from last summer and I am constantly having to re-tie the string in order to tighten it up. It seems to slip and loosen on its own. The new model makes the tie even more prominent, as it is on the outside of the pant, rather than tucked inside the waistband as it is on last year's model. I just don't want to be bothered trying to constantly get the waist to stay up and I also don't want the bulky look of a bow tie underneath my tops. I'll stay with the Saturday Trail capris. I also find these run slightly larger than the Trail capris, but I do like the smooth hem of these compared with the pull cord that is in the hem of the Trail capris. Each one has pluses and minuses! Just pick the style you like the best and go for it. The quality is excellent and if you wash inside out, you won't have a pilling problem. Highly recommend Columbia pants and capris!

I was excited to receive this pair of pants and crushed to find the rise was much lower than I had expected. The fabric was wonderful - there just wasn't enough of it for my body type. I thought I'd chosen a style that came up to my waist. I do not recommend this product only because of the style.

I love these pants. I have two capri's and two pair in full length. They wear and wash well. I love the drawstring and snap closure. My only suggestion for feedback is to work on pilling after 6 months of wear. The pilling cleans up fairly well with a sweater shaver.

Bad wrinkles after drying. Remove these immediately after dryer stops to avoid a mess!

I am happy with these. They are true to size and exactly as you see it. I just wish they had more colors.

I was looking for something that looked nice for work, but I could be very active in. These are super comfortable and perfect! I do wish they were slightly looser, but nowadays all women's pants are tight to your rear.

I love these pants. I wore them to Florida in the Disney Parks and also traveling in Europe. Versatile, easy to pack, and comfortable. My only complaint is some piling on the inner legs on a previous pair. Hope the same doesn't happen to these. I only wash in cold water on gentle and hang dry so - piling is from "cheaper" fabric.

Heading to South-east Asia this winter! I need clothes that wash in the sink and hang-dry overnight. I think this will do the trick. I usually wear a size 10, but I needed a size 12 in this, and the waist is a bit too big (as in most pants I try on). But the draw-string will take care of any slack in the waist. I like a roomy fit to be comfortable in, for long drives, hikes, and lounging around. I tried the size 10, and it would fit, but just a little too snug for my preferences around the hips. Yes, I'm curvy-- 5'2" 146 lbs.

I bought these pants for a trip to Estonia, Finland and Russia in June. I have a similar pair in the long version. I like them because they are lightweight and easy to pack and will dry quickly if washed. The color is pretty neutral and will go with many tops and dirt will not show easily. I think these capris will work out well for my purposes.

Comfortable, light weight, stretchy. I'm 5'5" and weigh 140 lbs. The size 10 is slightly too big...the size 8 is too tight. Kept the size 10. Easy hand wash and dry.

Love these, bought 2 additional after evaluating the first pair. Excellent weight for tropical living, and they're nice enough to wear to a restaurant when shorts are too casual. Pockets are a good size, but putting anything substantial in them ruins the line, which is a bit of a bummer for an anti-purse person like me. I wish Columbia offered a 21" inseam option in this style.

These do run small. I have the same style in the long pants and the med. fits a little big. I returned the capris. I do like the style and fabric as they hold up well without showing wear. I'm 5'5'' and 130 lbs.

I bought the full leg anytime pants and the global adventure pants in an 8 and loved the fit, style, and fabric of both. I decided to try the anytime capris and found the 8 too small. I may reorder in a 10 since I like the pants so much. This is my biggest gripe in ordering online--the inconsistency in sizing in the same style.

love the capris, but sizes that I wear keep getting bigger and bigger! and I'm not gaining that much weight. A little tough on the psyche!! But a great product. Bought every color of the capri and the similar skirt as well.

Purchased two pairs of capris last year and love them. They fit a little big (size 10) but still very comfortable. The fabric is quality and great colors. I recently decided to order more. When I reordered, I discovered the cut has changed (from Regular to now Active), and way too small. Returned and am going to try the next size up.

The capri pants are a great fit and style, but I was disappointed with the color -- gray.

I bought these for my mom since she liked her gray ones so much. These navy ones are too short in the rise compared to her gray pair. She is going to return them.

Fit is nice, sized as expected. Looks nice on, but after one wearing/washing they look old and worn-out. If you own a dog you will always have hair on these pants, it sticks easy and is difficult to remove

These capris were beautifully made, but ran very very small. I had to return them.
