I've had several pairs of Sanuk shoes and flip-flops over the years and they have always been true-to-size shoes. These slings, however, are much narrower than their sandals and other flip-flop styles. Because this is a more feminine style than their other footwear, I'm okay with this shoes being narrower. But, while all of my other Sanuk shoes are a size 6 and fit perfectly, the sling in size 6 is not a perfect fit, partly because the sole is designed much narrower than other Sanuk shoes. I bought these in black size 6, which I will keep, despite the fact that the 6 is a wee bit too small for my moderately wide foot. I love these so much that I'm ordering them in a second color, but going up a half-size. They are very comfortable, and the cushioned foot-bed is wonderful to walk on. Also, as others have noted, when you receive your slings, look at the photo to ensure you are putting them properly. If worn properly, the sling should NOT be falling down your foot.

If you are a dedicated thong sandal wearer you can probably wear these. The fabric between the toes is bulky & I put them in the return pile. Thankfully, the next day I gave them a 2nd chance & ended up wearing them for hours - very comfortable. Keepers now!

I expected them to be more comfortable than they are, but I like them overall. Wish I would have ordered a 1/2 or whole size bigger though. The soul is plenty big enough, but it feels like the thong part is too far back and you have to push your foot to an uncomfortable position to have your toes at the end. The soul is also very flat. I bought them wanting to where them for walking around a theme park, but they were not comfortable enough for that, I wear them to work or shopping and they are fine. Very pretty color choices and cute on.

Extremely comfortable. I don't pick my feet up I guess when I walk so I tend to scuff a bit as I go along. They are so comfortable. I think I could have gone 1/2 size smaller than what I wear. Not sure a whole size though.

I liked these a lot at first look - they were comfortable, had good soles, and were well made. My one qualm was that they were in no way passable as dressy. I wound up exchanging them for the Skechers in a similar style, which though have a slightly thinner material, will be able to hit the beach as well as a restaurant without looking like I just came from the gym. If you are okay with super casual, these would be great.
