What I like about the bag is that it goes over the shoulder to leave hands free. It is roomy; I can take my wallet and fit my somewhat large camera in it so I don't have to lug an extra bag with me. What I don't like is that the 2 outer pockets are way too small for cell phone or much of anything else.

This is a great bag, don't get me wrong, but after only a couple of months of use the rope part of the bag is coming apart. It looks really bad. I don't think it takes away the strength of the bag, but it just looks really bad. I contacted Kavu about it and told them about the issue. They were really cool about it. Unfortunately, because I've used the bag, I can't send it back to Zappos or even attempt to send it to Kavu. I'll have to put this one in the back of the closet or send it off to Goodwill. Loved using it while traveling to Hawaii and also as a pseudo-diaper bag.

Man, I did NOT like this bag. Not enough storage and hate it can only go over one shoulder (not ambidextrous). Love, Zappos!

I think I may be the only one who doesn't love this bag:-(. I bought it based on the rave reviews and have used it for a couple years now, mostly because of the sunken cost. But it just isn't working for anything! I've tried it for work--can't fit a laptop or even a tablet comfortably in it. For the gym--there's no real compartment for an H20 bottle so it just keeps sticking me in the back. For biking--ugggh, all it does is slide around!! For walking--every time I get a call I have to dig my phone out of the bag because there's no pouch on the strap for the phone. For plane trips--it is the biggest pain ITA to get anything in or out of the weird little compartments, and nothing really makes sense. It's also pretty bulky so you have to carry it on--there's no collapsing this thing into checked luggage unless your bag is pretty big. And there's no carry handle, so you HAVE to wear the dang sweaty thing on your back--or awkwardly flip it to your front when you sit down. What else? It shows every speck of dirt and it's hardly water resistant. Also, it's just plain ugly! I got the black and white stripes, which are cool, but the zippers are an odd, not-coordinated color and the strap is brown/gold, plus the inside is Xmas green. Blech. I'm giving up and buying a Kanken so that I can stop "borrowing" my kid's!
