The sizing is a bit smaller, arch support seems weaker and they are not as squishy as the slap 2 therefore not suited for long walks or arthritic knees.

I love these flip flops. I can walk around in the all day without discomfort. They have a nice cushion and moderate arch support. I normally wear a 6 or 6.5, and I have wide feet. I order a 7 in these and they fit great. They are a little snug on my wide feet the first couple times I wear them, but then they loosen up a bit and feel great.

I get a new pair of these every year or two for the beach and daily wear. They have arch support and the material between your big toes and other toe doesn't hurt like many thong shoes do. They last a LONG time and they puff up again when you wash them. They dry quickly when they get wet, that's why surfers and beachgoers like them. This particular style (the Slap) is the most molded one, not flat bottomed. They have a nice grip on the bottom. Love these sandals. I even got a kid's pair for my daughter.

I have tried a variety of rubber soled sandals and I have found these Reef sandals to be the most comfortable. I love the style and color, it goes with everything. They are a medium width, they fit good a little snug, but they will stretch and be perfect. These are my second pair and won't be the last.

I like the flip-flop but it ran smaller than my size usually fits. I am reordering a larger size.

I have been wearing this model of Reefs for several years. I just bought my 4th pair. I have terrible feet - nothing is comfortable and yet, I can walk miles in these flip flops without issue. Cannot recommend them enough.

Love these flip flops. This is my 4th pair of the Reef slap. Fits true to size, provides support for arch. I wear them all the time!

I am so disappointed in the fit of these shoes. I own four pair of Reefs and they are unbelievably comfortable and last for years. Unfortunately, these are much too narrow. Its as if i am walking on the top of where the thongs are attached to the foot bed and it hurts. I ordered my usual size, returned and went up a size but same problem. Other reviewers have had the same problem so i guess i will have to find a new go to for the summer. please bring back the old sizing, Reef!

This is my 5th pair of the Slap 3 style. Super comfortable! They last forever! Great flip flip. I wish they came in different colors.

Wide straps made me dread blister formation, but after 2+ hrs of wear there is nothing painful happening. These thongs are great not only because of the cushioned soles, but they move perfectly with each step. Happy and will consider buying another pair with different style/color.

They feel really good. Great grab and go for beach bag. Great on wood beach approach, sand, sidewalk, grass, slippery when wet concrete, general run around town. Not a second thought about getting them soaking wet. The fit is perfect for me (7 1/2, bought 8). Cushion (not squishy) next to foot, sturdy where it meets the ground. Black does not bleed on feet. I'm actually wearing them more than my beloved Fannings.

The shoe was a perfect fit. The arch support is good. I received them yesterday & wore them all day today. Judith M was great. Next time I hope I get to speak with her. I wish they came in more colors..

I have always been a fan of Reefs and this style in general. Feels like you’re walking on a cloud. I’ve worn them all day and my feet never get tired! These in particular felt smaller than what I’ve had in the past. I’m a solid 8.5 shoe size. I ordered the 9 and my foot is right at the very edge. It looks like I could even go further up a size which I’ve never done in my life. So the sizing seems a bit on the small side to me. I also measured them up to my previous pair which are perfect and they are a size 8 and measured to be the same size.

This reef flip flop is perfect for my high arches. I have ordered 2 other pairs several years ago & still have them but they are getting loose where the strap between the toe is attached. They do last a long time. My only complaint is that this time the top strap of the flipflop on the inside is stiff & scratchy. I'm not sending them back because there are very few sandals with the right arch support for me. That part is very comfortable. I don't know why they changed the strap from a nice soft feel to this stiff one. I have to put a soft piece of material under the straps so that I can walk comfortably in them. I'm hoping they will soften up over time. I wear them as slippers since I no longer can wear slippers due to plantar fasciitis which can rear it's ugly head if I don't wear the proper support on my feet. I may try to attach some material under the strap for comfort. I wish they had more colors, only one choice.

Awesome supportive sandals with great traction. The grey has a nice look - more casual and stylish than the black (tried both). Usually a 7 1/2 to 8, needed the size 9 or else my heel was hanging off a bit.

Much more comfortable than the Fanning. Softer footbed. I’m an 11 and the men’s Reefs are wider and fit better than the women’s which tend to be narrow.

Best flip flops ever! If you are looking for a solid outdoor flip flop, go for these. I order mine a full size bigger than my normal shoe size. These flip flops start firm and quickly mold to the shape of your foot, and they last for years.
