I bought this one as a gift for my son-in-law. It really came in handy this past week with all the rain in NYC!

Great jacket and PFAS free, amazing quality. I like the color also, just like in the picture.

I just bought this jacket to replace the same one I bought almost 10 years ago and loved. 10 years later, the product hasn't changed much, which is just what I was hoping for! I stay dry without getting overheated, and love how it folds up so compactly into the hood.

I have owned a earlier model and needed a new model. Marmot reduced the weight and the fabric is more pliable than my old PreCip Jacket. I hope to receive many more years of durable service from this jacket

I waited quite a while, and comparison shopped a great deal, before buying a lightweight, soft, rain shell. When I finally saw the PreCip in person, I was sold. It's light, it's super nicely made, it adds no warmth (this is good for my use), and it breathes nicely. We've had a lot of rain this spring/summer in Northeastern US, and this has been a terrific item to have during this time. Highly recommended.

This is a great, lightweight, packable rain jacket. It's true to size--I'm 5'5", 135 lbs and ordered a medium. It fits great with a little room for layering. The small also fit but was a little snug. I just wore it out all day on a quite rainy day and it kept me nice and dry. It doesn't have much warmth, but that's not really what this jacket is built for. It's soft, flexible and comfortable, not rubbery and stiff like a lot of lightweight rain jackets. This is the second Marmot jacket like this I've purchased and I would buy it again. Highly recommend.

Lightweight jacket with nice features. Based on first use in heavy rain, meets expectations. As always, Marmot medium is great for me (6'-3", 180#) - athletic fit with good sleeve length.

Very lightweight jacket with nice features. Based on first use in heavy rain, positive impression - it gets the job done! As has always been the case for me (6'-3" 180#), Marmot size medium is perfect. Love the athletic fit and arm length.

This jacket has exceeded my expectations in every way. The waterproof material keeps me completely dry, even during heavy downpours. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable to wear without feeling bulky, and the hood provides excellent protection without obstructing my vision. Additionally, the jacket's breathability ensures that I stay comfortable and dry, even during strenuous activities.

I am usually a medium, but bought a large because I wanted to be able to layer. The large size is perfect! I like the copper color, it is not as orange as the photo. It is closer to the color of a clean penny. It looks great on me. I really like it. This is my 3rd PreCip. Very nice jacket.

Bought a Precip Jacket 9 years ago. Had a defective lining. Marmot replaced - no questions asked, only had to send a picture. That is great customer support - they stand behind their product

Wanted a lightweight shell for everyday use yet light enough for backpacking (weight/ounces). This fits the bill. Nothing super fancy and totally functional. Breathable and keeps me dry and warm when layered. Wish there were brighter colors. Got the blue. The sizing works for me: small/petite size (5'2", 115 lbs)

I hiked through Scotland and Northern England last summer and purchased this as my protective rain gear. When the rains inevitably fell, i donned my PreCip jacket and not a single bit of moisture made it through the jacket. Has to be the best purchase I've made in a long while!

Keeps you dry! The only time I've ever been wet in this is in a torrential downpour that lasted like 5 hours plus. Made it a couple of hours before wetting out

I just purchased this jacket this winter, so I haven't been able to use it much yet. I don't like super crinkly jackets, and this one isn't too bad. Good color and fit, and I love the pit zips.
