I've had this jacket for several years. Still beads water, and keeps me dry. I use it both around town, and when traveling. It is so light, you can always take it with you.

I bought this jacket as rain gear. It fits as expected, is comfortable to wear, functions great as a rain jacket and looks good, too. As far as outdoors gear goes, I highly recommend Marmot, they make great products.

We own 4 of these Jackets. I have one that's about 7 years old and I love it. My wife's is 5 years old. We have liked ours so much that 2 years ago we purchased 2 for our 2 young sons in the kids version. We wear them on our family hiking and backpacking adventures. I have retreated my jacket to keep it waterproof several times. In my opinion these jackets are the best rain jackets you can buy for the money.

I have purchased a few PreCip jackets for the kids and insists they have it in their backpacks in case of unexpected rain common in the Pacific NW. The jacket is featherlite and provides protection against the elements.

I bought this jacket for a trip to Seattle and it was perfect! It kept me dry and warm while walking around the city. It was also lightweight, so could easily be stored in a backpack when I wasn't wearing it. Would highly recommend and look forward to my next Marmot purchase!

I've had two of these and they're both Been great. Breathable in summer showers, and layer well in cooler weather. It's my go to when it's wet out

I was looking for a jacket that I could take in luggage (compact) and locally for important events, like the kids' baseball games. I wanted flexibility so that I could almost ignore the weather. The jacket is useful for all of that and more. I use it as a windbreaker as well as a rain jacket. There's comfortable room for a layer underneath.

I've owned several of these over the years, as well as the pants. Super minimalist rainwear that gets the job done and holds up compared to other competitor items in the same price range. As an outdoor guide, it is great as a backup to my GoreTex, and as a daily wearer. For the $$, nothing beats it.

I've owned this jacket for several years and it is still in perfect condition. I'm 5'10" and wear the XXL. The sleeves are long enough for me and the length is perfect. Love the pits zips and the cinching cuffs. I'm going to get a second one in a different color. I highly recommend it.

This is a great lightweight shell that has kept me warm and dry while getting drenched while chimp trekking in Uganda and gorilla trekking in Rwanda. Fantastic mix of waterproof breathability helps make this a prefect travel jacket.

I love my precip. It packs down fairly small, is light, and breathable. It fits me well and is very rain resistant. All this and it's reasonably priced. What else could you ask for in a rain jacket?

I originally bought this jacket for a backpacking trip, wanted something to protect me from the rain. It folds up nicely, and with the hood it really does protect me. I use it as my everyday rain jacket, couldn't be happier.

I've had it fo r 8 years. It's been the Best for that long. I drove from Maryland to Florida and forgot my Marmot rain jacket. Bought a raincoat from a fishing store that failed in 5 months.

We have owned many of these over the past few years. My, kids and I go for rainy hikes year-round here in western Oregon. They always do exactly what we need them to doblock the wind and rain.

The PreCip is a great warm weather rain jacket and shoulder season when worn over a sweater or fleece. I purchased the PreCip to use while traveling and it take very little space in my bag.
