These shorts are cut to allow for an athletic cut or larger seat and legs. Very comfortable and have plenty of pockets and even a side pocket that will accommodate a mans wallet ( if you sit a lot this means you are not sitting on your wallet all day) Not my first purchase of these shorts and will certainly not be my last.

Love these shorts!

I wear them daily. The right side pocket fit a cell phone perfectly, until the phone companies oversize their phones to the point of messing up that unexpected benefit. At my age (mid 50's) I don't have the patience or the inclination to find another short which does all the things right which these shorts do. They will perfectly accompany me as I enter the shorts/tall black socks wearing phase of my life. The factory stores no longer stock them. I hope this is NOT the first step in them eventually being discontinued.

Fits true to size and are top quality.

This is my second purchase of these. I don't think you'll find shorter cargo shorts. They're very comfortable. They performed very well with fraying when i used them on the job for a few years (rigorous horticulture). I highly recommend.

I really like these shorts. I have been buying and wearing them for years...Can't beat the fit, quality and durability.

Used to be a loyal LL Bean shopper, these cargo shorts are far superior in cut and fit.

This is the third pair of these shorts I've purchased. They fit great, are very comfortable, 100% cotton, and have a great design. A nice version of the traditional cargo shorts. Love the zippered pocket in back too.

Best shorts ever! Wear like iron, look great, highly functional not just for fishing but for everyday living. Zip pocket for wallet makes me hard to pickpocket; elastic pocket is perfect for phone. Need more colors (Navy, Black).

I'm 6'4" with long legs and was a little concerned with a 7" inseam. The 7" inseam worked perfectly! I ordered size XL but probably could have ordered size L. Very comfortable short! Thank you!

I have purchased this style of shorts for my son for several years. They come in Men's size small and fit perfectly. They wear like iron and are easy to wash --no ironing needed. He has them in many different colors and they are very comfortable.

These wear forever (provided you don't get battery acid on them). My husband has had a couple of pairs for many years and really likes the fabric (versus all the new styles), the pockets and the length. I bought him 5 pairs.

I've worn these for years. I love the slight give in the side panel. For me they hold up well and last for years. Would buy them again. I'm partial to the stone and sage colors.

My first pair of these shorts was about 15 years ago. I loved them so much, that within the next 3 years I bought another 2 pairs. But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Living in Florida, wearing shorts is almost a daily occurrence. These shorts have done everything with me from fishing, ride bike, going to the beach, art festivals, doing yard work, working on my cars and on and on. Truly a great product, but after so many years ,they have seen better days.That's why when I needed to replace them I bought 4 pairs!!! Now I have shorts for the next 15 years. Thanks Columbia for make a consistently great product!!
