Hoodie long sleeve is the way go on the water. Love these shirts. I have a bunch of them now.

The material is what my two son's needed for a fishing trip, but it definitely runs on the larger size, even with another shirt underneath. They typically wear mediums, but had to return for smalls. Loose fitting and sleeves are on the long side. Other features about the shirt are nice.

I ordered this hoping to find a very light weight, breathable hoodie that would reduce my need for sunscreen. I wore it up the 14,336 ft La Plata Peak on a crystal clear day, and combined with my new Columbia hat I didn't get the slightest burned. It is very breathable. The hood is great but it would be nice to have a draw string, maybe even a built in face mask? Overall I love this hoodie and will probably never been in the sun long term without it.

Purchased for my husband for his birthday. He was skeptical, he's usually a tshirt guy. We went on a weekend fishing trip with friends and it was very hot and sunny all weekend. He raved about how comfortable and lightweight this shirt is. In fact, a second was purchased at a nearby retail store before the weekend was over! I had ordered one size larger than he usually wears after reading reviews and it was the perfect fit, and would also be fine with a tshirt under it. For a looser fit or to wear over something, you might want to order your regular size. We have washed it in cold water and dried on very low, looks like new.

This shirt is great for fishing. The long sleeves protect your skin from the harsh sun. The hood on the shirt protects too. The hood is also great for sight fishing. It allows you to pull up over your head to block out a lot of the light so that you can focus on the fish on the bed. It also helps hide you from other people on the lake. They won't recognize you with the hood on your head.

My guy bought one of these on a whim last spring and immediately fell in love with the fact that is was completely breathable while protecting his fair skin from the sun! I went on to buy him 3 more colors last year, and 2 more this year! Keep the colors coming and we'll keep buying!

If you're looking for sun shirt that will keeps you protected from the elements and comfortable all day while fishing, look no further. Columbia brand has been the best I have found. This terminal tackle hoodie goes above and beyond in 70 even 80 degree weather keeping me protected and cool at the same time.

This is one of my favorite fishing shirts. Keeps the sun off the back of my neck, looks good and super breathable.

I purchased the Columbia hoodie to wear on the boat as the summer months are coming. The hoodie is very light and comfortable and the price was very good. I'm 5'7" 150lbs slim build and the large size fit me a little loosely, which I like beacuse it allows me to move around without any restrictions, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to protect their skin from the elements. Great job Columbia!!!

Perfect product for any sun related activities. Breathable material even in long sleeve doesn't feel hot outdoors.

Bought this shirt for the extremely hot sun in Costa Rica. I'm not good applying sun screen. Shirt worked awesome! Very comfortable and looks cool. White does get dirty fast though.

Loves these shirts, spend countless days on the water and I and never with out one of these, the large hood on the shirt is a great feature.

I bought one of these for my husband to kayak fish in year round and he loves it! He has several of the same style of shirt without the hood and wears them alone in the summer or as a base layer in cooler weather. He loves this one with the hood even more. It is his new favorite shirt for everything outdoors! I purchased some of the women's ones for myself because he loves his so much and I was not disappointed. I guess now I need to order him some more in other colors!

I love this hoodie. It is super comfortable and keeps me warm when paired with a good t-shirt underneath. It has 2 minor flaws, IMHO. First, the logo on the sleeve is too big and I think it detracts from the overall look. Second, it is a little long for a piece of clothing that is not tucked in. These are minor gripes though.

I love this product. It fit exactly as expected and is comfortable. Just warm enough for a chilly morning on the lake, but still breathable and not uncomfortably warm. I wear it all the time.

Good quality as you would expect, the xl fits like a xxl in my opinion. All of my Columbia apparel fits large so I should have ordered accordingly.

This tackle hoodie is very soft and durable enough for any season. It can be worn under a bigger jacket or just by itself.

Fits great, lightweight with full range of mobility

Very lightweight like most Columbia long sleeve pfg tees.. the added hood is great for cooler or windy days. I could even see it being used for sun protection on warmer days.
