This is great for hiking since it has Omni-shade and Omni-Freeze material to help keep me cool and protect from sunburns on my arms. I just wish it was a bit more under my chest and near my waist.

Does what the advertising says- keeps its cool, keeping you cool. Could definitely feel a difference from wearing a regular cotton shirt. I wore the shirt last weekend and the temperatures were in the mid to high 80's at 8,500'. After backpacking in 6 miles for a quick out and back overnighter, I appreciated the temperature cooling effect and the fact that the fabric wicked perspiration away. Will be wearing this the rest of the summer.

Fits small- order a size up if you are borderline.

This is a very good shirt in terms of comfort. Bought it for sun protection and the Omni-Zero fabric works nicely here in tropical south Florida. Only problem is that when working in the garden, it stains rather easily and stains cannot easily be removed. Other stains can result from sun lotion. Some help is to soak in Oxi-Clean but overall, the shirt is not useable in public afterwards. Columbia should address this problem. To be fair other sun shirt synthetic fabrics also stain easily.

Great shirt. Very cool and comfortable. Runs a little large. One change they could make is to tighten the neck a little bit. If you wear a Buff with the shirt for sun protection you cannot get the Buff to stay tucked below the neck line, so you will have a patch of skin that will be sun burned if you don't apply sunscreen to the neck line area. Other than that an awesome shirt

First off- overall- love this shirt and material. We went to Hawaii and Christmas Island and approx 20 men wore this shirt - over the course of 7 days of fishing. The material is awesome- kept them cool and comfortable in very humid and hot damp conditions - the only real complaints were two-fold....needs a tighter neck so that sun doesn't burn the back neck and where it gaps between buff and collar and also-longer sleeves- pref with a thumb hole to help shield hands and stay down over the wrists. Send love to see these improvements and would love to use and brand them with our company logo for EDGE Rods. We've been posting pics online and have gotten a lot of questions as to how to order :)

The large is substantially larger than the PFG's 2 years ago. The white has faint small blue squares through out the material taking away from the all white look.

This long sleeve Omni-Freeze shirt is wonderful. It provides fast wicking of moisture away from the body all day long and keeps me cool after a long day on the water. The Omni-Freeze dots inside the fabric provide a nice cooling sensation on the skin as you sweat. Don't expect to be wrapped in ice cubes, but expect to feel just a bit cooler as you go through your day. It helps to be comfortable longer on those long hot days.

I really like the "freeze zero" material. I have purchased the short sleeve version in the past, and decided to try it in a long sleeve. The sleeves were extremely long, so I will have to shorten them. The sleeves are also fairly loose, which sort of nullifies the cooling quality of the material.

Runs loose fit. Nice soft and light for summer. I had bought some short sleeve T's last summer and took them to the tropics. Saved my life!

I really like the product. It is light, and keeps cool. Protects from the sun. If you purchase the correct size for your body type you'll be delighted. I wear one daily to keep the sun off. The extra large shirt is really a XXL in size. You should talk with a salesman to make sure you know what you are receiving.

We picked up two colors in this shirt. Gray and white. The white is going back. Buyer beware the white shirt is entirely made up of a blue (SPF) pattern on the interior which shows through the fabric. The gray more forgiving. We will keep the gray.

I bought this in light gray and white. The blue dots show through on the white one and make it look like a hospital gown! This didn't happen with the gray shirt, it's more opaque even though the fabric weight is the same.

I love the shirt protects me from the sun and keeps me cool and dry. 1 problem I have is I wear a medium it's a perfect fit except for the sleeves they are too long. Otherwise a great long sleeved shirt

This is my husband's favorite shirt for everything and they usually fit him perfectly. This time the sleeves on all three of the shirts were super long - like about 3 inches too long! Because he loves the shirts so much I'll hem them up instead of return, but the sleeves are really disproportionate. Otherwise the shirt fits perfect.

I purchased this for my husband for bike riding. The sleeves are very long. Otherwise the fit is good. It's a sun shirt so the fabric isn't as soft as the last shirt I purchased. He wears it, but it's not his favorite.

This is an awesome outdoors shirt and I own several others. But I ordered these 2 in white and when they arrived I looked and they have a strange blue "dot" pattern which makes the whole shirt actually look very blue, not white as described. They almost appear to be pajamas or something similar. Not a bad color but not as expected. I'll likely return them and look for true white.

Beware --- this was NOT a solid white shirt. It has small blue dots all over it. I did not read or see that in the description and my husband will only wear solid white --- doesn't even like designer logos on his clothes. He may have lived with the smaller Columbia insignia over the breast pocket but I didn't even like the blue dots...so it was returned.

After wearing standard PFG shirts for years I decided to try the next level up for increased heat reduction. First the shirt runs very small. Second the material is much thicker and hotter than standard PFG shirts. I could discern no difference in regards to cooling on a hot lake day. Stick with the PFG standard long sleeve for the money.

This shirt performs as advertised. I prefer my fishing shirts a little loose and this shirt was a little bit snugger than what I was use to with Columbia products. I would purchase this shirt again except in tall size.

The shirt is good for its functionality, but the blue circles inside that are said to perform disappear as you wash the shirt. Also, the shirt gets less soft with time. Other than that, the shirt is excellent.
