Love this jacket! Exactly what I was looking for for the PNW unpredictable rainy weather. Have gotten lots of comments on the color. Repels rain very well without making you cold from the rain, does feel a little small when trying to wear a sweatshirt underneath it. Overall great product.

Just purchased this jacket for a trip to Macchu Picchu in a few months. Bought it after seeing some great reviews and a price that was awesome. The fit is great. It is slightly tailored, flattering, but not super fitted and uncomfortable. I gave it 4 stars simply because I can't yet comment on the features as I have yet to test out the waterproof capabilities, but so far I think it is a great purchase!

So glad Columbia offers a packable rain jacket with hood and zipper pockets. Have other Columbia rain jackets but without hoods. What would make this jacket 100% perfect for travel (I travel extensively) is if there were inside pocket(s) to hold airline boarding passes. The older models didn't have hoods but did have inside pockets along with exterior zipper pockets. I bought size XL to allow room to wear a jacket or sweater underneath.

Really liked the coat and loved the dark raspberry color, however I hated the Velcro strips all along the outside of the front zipper. The pics don't show this. Total pain on snagging unless it's zipped up. Sadly returned.

I purchased the Arcadia II jacket to replace what I thought was the same one I had previously purchased. The jacket fits nicely & was a nice cut & color. However, the "new" jacket was missing several features that I had in the original that I really liked, namely a zipper in the underarms to allow for venting & a vertical zipper pocket on the upper chest. Not certain whether they retooled the Arcadia or whether I had a different jacket entirely, although my old jacket was only purchased in spring 2016. For my purposes (bicycling in the rain), these changes were deal breakers for me.

I'm going to Ireland in the winter and cannot wait to pack this and travel with it! It's a little bit small to size but I kind of like that. You can put a few small layers underneath to stay warm. Overall, I am impressed with the quality for the price. Glad I bought this rain jacket!

I bought this jacket for backpacking and a trip to Costa Rica. It's lightweight with great placing of the closures so as not to allow water in. I love the hood with tiny visor! Should be great for Arizona monsoons. I ordered one size up so that I could layer if needed and it is still a great fit!

What I loved about this jacket is that it is truly waterproof. What I didn't love about it is that it is NOT breathable as stated on their tags. I just completed a 100 mi ride for Alzheimers in NH this past weekend. It DID keep me dry but man did it lock in the heat. I bought this a size bigger as I thought on cold rainy days that I would need to wear a sweatshirt under it - now I'm thinking I wouldn't need to as it kept the heat in. It would have helped to have more vents/zippered or holes or something to make it breathable. This jacket isn't necessarily recommended for cycling but I believe this is what they showed the model wearing while mountain biking. Anyway, if you are looking for waterproof - this is it! If you need it to breath while doing an activity - not so much

This jacket is awesome for the price you pay! Durable, waterproof, and lightweight enough that you can wear alone on a warmer but rainy day, or you can still fit lots of layers underneath if you need to stay warm as well.

This jacket served me well for a week in Iceland -- it's completely wind and waterproof, but it's pretty thin, so it's definitely meant more as a shell than as a jacket.

I live in the Northwest and a hooded raincoat is part of my outfit most of the year. The fit on the Arcadia is just a little longer than most out there which is great for my long torso.

Nice jacket, just wished it had more than the shell. Definitely does not keep you warm, should be worn with layers but it serves its purpose which is to keep you dry.

It's a good rain jacket. Very light and unlined, so it's best for warmer weather.

Love the fact that it keeps you cool and is well made. What would make it a 5 is if it fit into its own pocket for easy travel. Maybe some stiffness around rain cap to keep rain out of eyes.

Purchased this for our vacation. It ended up raining every day!! I stayed nice and dry. Loved the hood as it extends out over your face keeping your face and hair dry. The color also is perfect!!

I purchased this jacket because we have been having a lot of rain lately and I wanted something that was lightweight. I ordered an XL. It's a perfect fit around the bust area and I was hoping for a little more room. My clothes were dry when I wore the jacket without an umbrella. This was a good purchase.

Went snowboarding on a snowy, windy day and this jacket did its job with keeping water out. The material was thin and lightweight so I was a bit skeptical. My jacket size are regularly a size larger than my shirt sizes so I have room for comfort and I was surprised that this jacket still fitted well along with my layers (I had on 4 layers of shirt, long sleeve, hoodie, and sweater). Only complaint was how small the hoodie part seemed to be. With a beanie on, the hoodie barely fit. But other than that, this was an awesome jacket.
