if you want to wear a bulky top or sweatshirt, buy a size larger

Just got this coat, love the color, but the fit around the my hips is a little tighter than I would like but other than that it is a great coat. I wore it in a downpour and when I took it off I was completely dry. The hood has a nice visor like piece of fabric that keeps the rain out of your eyes and adjustable elastic pulls so it stays on with wind. I would definitely recommend this coat. It's light weight but still does the job.

The jacket fits true to size and is waterproof. Overall a no frills rain jacket that does the job for a decent price.

As a camp counselor, I need a day-packable rain jacket for weather changes. This one fits the bill great! I love the color, the flat seams, it repels water nicely and is breathable. My only caveat, is that this a women's cut, so know that it runs a bit narrow for my comfort when it comes to ladies like me with a thicker midsection.

I love this jacket more than I thought I would. I have been slowly switching all of my outwear to Columbia and this was a great addition. Warm, but doesn't make me sweat. Cool, but breathable. I love the length and fit so much. I have worn it 4 times so far and have gotten so many compliments on the color. Great purchase, and the price was almost too good to be true! Thank you again for another wonderful item for my collection.

Fits well kind of snug around the chest area. If your big breasted you may need to go up a size.

This jacket is awesome at keeping water off of you in the rain. It is truly waterproof and is good for a light jacket if it is not chilly out. My one complaint about the jacket is that the velcro is a little cumbersome when you are trying to unzip the jacket. The velcro always seals when you zip up the jacket so then you have to take apart each velcro piece as you go to unzip it. That being said, this is a minor complaint.

The quality of the jacket was great but the arm length for me was too short. The jacket was also small in the chest area. I had to return it and go up a size since it was not made in a tall for women.

Bought this last year for my trip to Denmark last May. One day during my trip it rained all day but I had my raincoat and it kept my dry. I didn't even have to use an umbrella. The fact that I could pack it away in it own pocket is a definite plus. I now travel with it wherever I go and rain is expected.

The quality is good, it really does fold into either of the front pockets which is a roughly 5"x5" square. Though I have not found an elegant way of doing it, you can't fold it up you have to just start shoving it in but the whole jacket does fit into the front pocket. I wish it was a little longer as it hits at the hips but that is a personal preference. It really is a good jacket.

I decided the color wasn't for me, but I did like the jacket. I bought an XL to layer under. I'm 5'5" and 170lbs. The material was definitely water repellent, felt almost like a tarp in some ways which is why the minus one star.

Although this is a good product but it's too small for me, so I will be returning it.

I recently bought my Arcadia 2 rain jacket for a trip I was taking to Michigan's Sleeping bear dunes this past February, so it was bound to be cold out. I was thoroughly surprised that the wind did not get through this jacket or the snow. I am 5'4" and I weigh 140 pounds. Medium fits me very well especially with a hoodie under it. I would buy another one of these jackets because it worked so well!

Dusty Iris Twilight - bought this jacket in Medium for an upcoming trip to New Zealand. I really like the color & I'm sure the jacket will work well for any rain storm we may encounter. Columbia's sizing is a little different than other companies I purchase from. I am a solid size 6-8. So a small 4-6 will often be too small & a medium 8-10 is often too large! I opted to go with a medium to be sure it would layer well, but I have to say the sleeves are very long on me.

This coat is very warm. It's long enough to cover the top half of your legs, but not too long to wear you can't sit down in it. I love the teal color. The zipper can sometimes get stuck but it's nothing too unbearable.

I replaced a Switchback/sz L with this Arcadia II/sz M. The Arcadia Large was significantly larger than my Switchback. I love the mesh lining in the Arcadia, and the contrast of the side panels on the Iris color. The only thing missing with this jacket is a foldaway hood like even the Switchback has.

I followed the size chart and that was a huge mistake! I should have know from trying things on it their stores that their merchandise runs at least 2 smaller compared to other retailers. I ordered an XL and it needs 4 - 5 inches more to close. If I order a women's size that might no fit either. Really wanted this jacket, but I guess it wasn't meant to be!. Hate wasting $ sending things back!

SIZE CHART SEEMS OFF...I am a 36" chest and got the M, hoping to be able to wear with bulky sweaters and sweatshirts...however it was MASSIVE on me. The small would have been roomy, but didnt have the color I wanted. Back it goes.

I bought the rain coat for myself. I normally wear an XL in Columbia coats, but this one ran small.

I love packing this jacket into the pocket and tossing it in my day bag. Perfect for Portland fall, where the rain starts and stops all day. I sized up for more layering room, as I usually wear this over a zip fleece.
