I read several reviews and looked at a several jackets trying to decide what to purchase. I wanted light weight rain jacket that is water period and has a hood. I also didn't want to spend a fortune. This jacket is perfect. It is lightweight but provides the water proof protection I wanted. I am a dog walker and if it's raining I still have to walk the dogs. This jacket keeps me dry on my walks. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

Very flattering style. And good price. Does the job of keeping you dry in the rain.

I wore this through one of the worst rain storms I have ever experienced while outdoors - buckets of water coming down. Anything covered by this jacket emerged completely dry - cell phone in the pocket, my hair and face, torso, and arms. The jacket goes just a bit past my hips. My friend had a less expensive rain coat that was "water resistant" and hers ended up leaking through the seams. Glad I splurged on this one!

Very handy and flattering jacket. Keeps water out. Spacious hood. Wish the hood draw strings were a little easier to access and adjust. I'm 5'5", 130 lbs and the small size is perfect.

I haven't worn it yet but it is very comfortable. The mesh liner prevents the jacket from sticking to your skin.

Love the jacket. Not heavy and bulky---really works well with what I need it for. Really would recommend it to others.

This jacket made me feel like it hadn't even rained! It is brighter than displayed but still great quality

Though it fits a little loose I'm so happy with this product! I love the color and the velcro really sets it off!! Snaps break off and leave holes! I'm very happy with this jacket!!

I love the look of this jacket and the fit is nice. I haven't had the chance to wear it in rainy weather yet, so can't speak to how waterproof it is. Very pleased so far. I have another Columbia jacket that has lasted for many years.

I love this jacket! The color, the fit and the light lining are all perfect.

This jacket is way better than I thought it would be. I have now worn it in plenty of rain and the water doesn't permeate at all. The Velcro down the front is easy and fast. The wrists can be worn loosely or not and zippers in the pockets work well as does hood. Great lightweight rain jacket.

The jacket fits great. Long sleeves, enough room to layer clothing underneath (size: medium). I got the red hibiscus jacket and it is a nice pop of color without being over-the-top.

Bought this jacket for a vacation to the rainforest. It was the perfect weight for spring weather (40s-60s) and packed easily. Even kept my top dry when we briefly went under a waterfall! Really like the shaping of the jacket. Makes for a much more feminine silhouette than the usual windbreaker.

Light weight and easily folded down to fit in a bag. Did exactly what I needed at a great price. Used it for overseas travel in the rainy season and kept me dry.

I love this rain coat. Super duper lightweight but great in the rain! Keeps you dry and warm.

Originally purchased this jacket for an Europe trip, my daughter and I were extremely pleased with the quality of the jacket. This was the only jacket that we brought on the trip. This jacket kept us warm on top of Mount Pilatus Lucerne Switzerland, layered on top of a long-sleeve shirt and a cardigan. We will be visiting Costa Rica this summer, and the jackets will definitely be put to good use, once again.

So far I really like my jacket! I got it in the red hibiscus color, and it is a great bright but light red, with a nice light blue lining. It fits true to size and is long enough for me (I am 5'9" 155 lb and got size medium). I have not yet worn it in a truly soaking rain, so I can't comment on how waterproof it is. But it seems to be good quality, and probably a better value than a lot of the more expensive but similar north face options.

Very nice looking jacket and perfect for all year use. I ordered the black which goes with everything. The next day delivery is fantastic...couldn't be happier.

I needed a jacket I could wear to the bus stop with the kids in the rain, and for running errands with a 2 year old in tow. This is perfect! Waterproof, great length, perfect hood. I'm very pleased. I wear it all the time, just for a lightweight jacket.

This rainjacket has been a top performer for me. The jacket I'd used previously for paddling was ill-fitting and made me sweat.... oh, and trapped the sweat to boot. The Arcadia II affords an unrestricted range of motion, sends sweat from hard-paddling me up and out of my jacket while keeping me completely protected from dripping cold water on either myself or from the sky. The hood is big enough to come up and over a cap (with a ski cap over *that*), which is great in a *true* deluge. The length is wonderful (about mid-thigh), the sleeves are long enough and the fit is quite flattering. I'm about 5'9" and 155 lbs, the medium was as perfect a medium as I've ever had.

I didn't realize this when I ordered it, but this is a very thin jacket - more like a windbreaker. You can pack it down to a very small size, so it's great for traveling. I am 5'3", 110lbs and the XS fits well. It is tapered nicely around the waist and does not look boxy. I have the Columbia Navy and the white accents on the sides are a nice touch, very flattering. If anything, I would say it's borderline on the long side for me. I like how it fits, but if it was any longer I would have returned it, so it might not be a great fit for more petite women. The sleeve length is perfect because I could tighten the velcro on the sleeve openings slightly to make them hit comfortably at my wrists. Overall, this is a great fall/spring jacket and great quality and style for the price.

This jacket is lightweight and keeps the moisture out. I spent a day working on the boat in the rain and was clothes were still dry underneath. Very comfortable.

I have been searching for months for the perfect light, breathable, waterproof rain jacket for an April trip to Hawaii. After trying on 10 different brands and types, I am thrilled to choose the Arcadia II. It is made of a very light, airy outer material, with a light, soft inner mesh. I prefer mesh liners to promote breathing and comfort. I also tried the Arcadia (the original version) but I prefer the fun colors of the Arcadia II (I have Geyser/Siberia). The cut is flattering and it has a very comfortable fit (i.e. I still look like a woman underneath it while leaving a little room for comfort/layer). I am 5'2", 115 pounds, 34-B, athletic build with a small waist and bigger hips. I typically wear a size XS. The XS fits perfectly (hits just below my hip bones, comfortable in the shoulders, not tight around the chest). The sleeve/hand openings are a bit large, but easily cinch with the Velcro tabs. The jacket does fit into the pocket for easy packing. I am looking forward to wearing this in Hawaii and using it as a light summer rain jacket. Thanks, Columbia!
