Love this rain jacket! The rain just beats on the outside and runs off. The hood tightens up nicely. The sleeves, too. Could be improved by using snaps rather than velcro closures which snag on other garments and by adding a hood adjustment so the brim doesn't extend as far.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my friend and she absolutely loves it. Being in Florida with a humid climate and able to wear a waterproof jacket without sweating to death is no easy feat. If you live in an area where it is hot and rains a lot this is the jacket for you.

This is my favorite rain jacket! I got a medium in the Bright Plum color. The color is what is shown in the pix online. I am 5'9" and 134 lbs with long arms. It fits well as it is not a snug fit at all, has some room to spare incase I wear a sweater. It's very lightweight and packable. I live in FL and it rains a lot here. The hood is great! Is well made and seems the material seems durable. This is a thin jacket and has a black mess liner; good for warmer climates and for cooler weather if I wear a sweater. I like the zipper secure pockets. Sleek looking jacket! I love it.

I bought this for a trip to Ireland and wore it for a two hour horseback ride in nonstop rain and gusting winds. When we got back to the stables, my pants were soaked through and I poured water out of my boots, but the sweater under this jacket was bone dry. Buy it a size up to leave room for warmth layers underneath.

I wore this jacket on a trip to Alaska and it was PERFECT! It looked stylish and I felt great in the jacket when we were going out and it was completely functional too! I wore this jacket hiking, shopping and touring. The jacket kept me dry in the rain, the hood was great. I've been telling all my friends about this jacket, its THE PERFECT JACKET. I'm a bit hippy, and it fit nicely over my hips.

This jacket is designed well with quality materials, the hood provides good coverage to avoid rain in my face. After reading a number of reviews, I felt compelled to order a size up but my sister encouraged me to stay true to my standard size. The medium is fitted, but roomy enough to layer underneath. This jacket would not be used for warmth, but does seem to break the wind and keep me dry.

I love the jacket! it color is very true to the image. It keeps me warm as a windbreaker and rain jacket so I am very satisfied with it. I order a size bigger so I could wear sweater underneath when I decide so.

This Columbia Arcadia II Jacket was fantastic during my recent trip to the rainy Pacific Northwest! I was kept dry during a heavy rain while out and about. It was also great while kayaking when we were caught on a lake during a brief passing shower. The hood fit well and kept my head dry. The color and cut are feminine, great purchase for the price!

I purchased this jacket for a trip to Wyoming and Montana. A vacation packed with outdoor activities and fly fishing. I wanted a raincoat I could fold up into my day bag and one that was breathable for days going into 80 degrees. It was perfect - not a wrinkled mess out of my bag, the velcro wrists allowed me to cinch for fishing and hiking, the material was breathable when rain came, and kept me dry. Size: I'm a 2-4 and the small is great - enough room if I had another layer on - not sure why it says runs small. The hood: only negative - it's fine and a billed hat solves the issue - when on, it doesn't stand on its on, but again, it does the job and the folding into a bag was more important to me and the fact it did have a hood if caught in a downpour. Very happy with it, and using it again on another trip now.

I bought this coat in white. I needed a raincoat with a hood for my trip to Scotland, and it held up extremely well! It's waterproof, windproof, and really cute!!!

I bought this to use as a summer rain slicker. Because of the reviews, I bought a size up, and am happy with that choice. The extra space will allow for a sweater underneath if necessary. The first trial was at an outdoors event in the rain. Even after hours in the weather, there were no leaks, and it wasn't clammy either. The description says you can ball the jacket up into its own pocket, but I was not successful at doing that.

I bought this jacket after being told to prepare for any type of weather in Scotland, particularly rain and wind. This jacket was perfect. Kept me dry in downpours without the use of an umbrella. The material is light so it's very breathable. I ordered one size up to ensure that I can wear a sweater under it on cold weather days and found it to be roomy and not oversized without layering.

Great color - slightly fitted - not too tight but not oversized. Nice quality!!

This is the first rain jacket I have ever owned and it is perfect. I recently took a trip to Paris where it has been raining an awful lot, and found it was a daily essential in my outfit. It is foldable, easy to pack, lightweight, and can dry in less than an hour. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep from getting wet and who travels.

I borrowed my sister's black version of the Arcadia II for a trip to Florida in March and I immediately knew I needed my own. It was so lightweight that I'd throw it in my small drawstring bag and carry it half the day without it being inconvenient or bulky whatsoever. Then when it rained (because it's Florida) my friends had to get out their bulky and inconvenient umbrellas, which kept blowing inside out. I put my hood on and zipped up, and not one drop of water seeped through. This jacket is SO waterproof, it's got a nice big snug hood, large and deep pockets WITH zippers, and I just can't say enough good about it. I liked my sisters black one, but I got the bluebell, which is a lovely color. My mother purchased a bright pink that I think is called hibiscus and we'll be taking them with us to Europe. Additionally, we're from Washington so we get a lot of rain but hate carrying umbrellas. This will get so much use. Great purchase!

Great summer waterproof raincoat shell. Light weight and breathable. Absolutely was what I was looking for. Looks great too.

This rain wear is great for fishing, it is light and comfortable and functional for wearing on cool spring days on the water. I bought my Husband one and he loves it also.

I love the color. I wore it during a light to medium rain & stayed dry. I like the hood: it keeps my face dry while still allowing me to see.

The jacket fits well. But you could not wear anything too thick underneath. Keeps you dry.
