I'm 5'4" 110lbs and the XS was way too big everywhere. Not cute on me.

Thin material drapes poorly, runs small, not flattering or worth the price

Had to return. Straps too narrow to be able to wear a bra.

Nothing like the Columbia Freezer maxi dress. I thought this would be a shorter version of the maxi which is awesome. The fabric on this is too thin. It is clingy. It might be better with a pattern. The maxi, while thicker, is cooling. This is thinner, clingy and in hot weather would not be comfortable.

Loved the pattern and the fabric. But the fit through the chest is awkward looking. The neck is too high to be scoop neck but too low to be crew neck. There was also some minor gaping at the arm holes even though the rest of the sizing was fine. It was unflattering on me, and it had to go back.

I have bought this dress in different prints 4 times. This one arrived labeled incorrectly. I know accidents happen, but now I have to return it and try to get the right size, which is difficult when it's not sized right and I know it, because the others fit fine.

This fabric is very thin and feels "cheap." I will have to wear a slip with it which isn't helpful in the Summer.

I really wanted to love this dress. I have two that are similar that I wear regularly. Both of those have pockets and a more forgiving fabric on the bottom half. This one is much less forgiving and does not have pockets. It is made well and the fabric is soft but I do plan to return this item and hope that the old dress comes back.

I discovered the freezer dress in summer 2000 and bought 2 in my regular clothing size and they were a dream come true! They fit great and made me look 10 pounds thinner than I am and hid all my lumps and bumps. I couldn't wait to buy more in summer 2021 in my regular size. I did and I was very upset as they were way to small and no longer hiding my lumps. I was then forced to buy the next size up, which is too big and doesn't fit me well at all. Please go back to your 2000 cuts on the fabric and have better quality control on the manufacturing.

I bought the dress with the floral print and black background. It's sort of an 80s era print and not all that nice in person. The fabric is super lightweight and feels nice around my legs, but I'm only a 34A and the chest felt too snug. (I'm about 150 pounds and got a medium. A large would be too baggy in the arm holes.) Surprisingly, the fabric is white on the inside, and any stretch in the material ends up creating a lighter color on the outside. Even just a little stretch in the chest area kind of grays out the fabric's colors because of the white showing through. It makes the fabric look cheap. This is why it's important for both sides of the material to be compatible in color for stretchy fabrics. I was also surprised at how warm and clingy the bodice felt, which negates the cooling effect of the technology that's built into the material. It felt very synthetic, which of course it is, but clinging to me like that isn't what I'm needing in our super hot climate. As for the style, it's a tad too conservative. If the neckline were just half an inch lower front and back, it wouldn't look so constricted. I'm 5'8" and the length hit just above my knees, but the shape of the dress makes it look a bit frumpy and would do well an inch shorter. And the hemline is serged, and aren't they all these days. The top of the fabric is two stitched rows, but underneath is a sloppy mess of loose threads from the serger. This is going to catch easily and pull. One last note: Take a look at the photo of the back of the dress. Zoom in. Do you see that huge triangle shape? That's their logo . . . on the OUTSIDE of a dress. It's also on the back of my husband's Columbia shorts, but they're hiking shorts and rugged, and the label is mostly hidden by his shirt. But on a dress? Are you kidding me??? It disrupts the floral pattern and is very noticeable. How annoying! Overall I really like the idea of this dress, but Columbia could do a lot better.

The weird placement of the seam under the bodice was a deal breaker for me, so these go back. instead of it hitting under my (small) bustline, it's a few inches too high. Not sure this style was ever fitted on an actual woman's body! Nice fabric, though!

I was disappointed with the klingy light material. I had tried my sisters on which was a few years old and hers was heavier and hung very well-this one was thin and smaller in size. The quality was not as expected-thin and clung to my body

I feel like this photographed dressier than in person. It felt like bathing suit or beach material and looks casual in person so if you are looking for something on a tropical vacation this would be great. It it's form fitting and shows everything. Not what I'm looking for.

I returned this product. Another reviewer had commented on how it clings to every lump and bump but I am small and fit so I thought it would be fine but the fabric is very thin - swimsuit material but thinner than on most swimsuits - and really does highlight all flaws. Only buy this if you are very slim and/or perfectly formed. Even then, there's something about the design of the upper half that makes a small-normal bust look like a platform shelf.

I am 5 foot 6 and 125 lbs, so certainly considered slender. I ordered the small, which was tight at the bust, and showed every flabby bit I possess. I considered ordering a medium, but the clingy fabric would've emphasized my flaws no matter what size, so I returned it.

The material for this dress was too thin and I expected more of a fitted effect around the abdomen. I didn't like the way it fit and felt like it created the wrong illusion for my body type. I am 5'2 and 130 lbs. Perhaps the small would have fit better, but I still didn't like the way the fabric laid when wearing the dress.

Fabric is not the same as what it used to be unfortunately. It’s going back or I’ll give away to my sis.

I sent this dress back. It is very elastic which is a gift and a curse. It fits like panty hose.

I purchased two Women's PFG Freezer III Dresses online. A few years ago, I purchased this dress in an XS and it fits great. The two new dresses I purchased do not fit the same. They are very clingy and show every little bit of fat (I am 5'4", 125 lbs). I compared the tags on the old and new dresses. In the new dresses, Columbia has increased the amount of spandex and decreased the amount of polyester. The fit is awful. Also, the label on the back of the dress is much larger than it used to be. It makes the dress look trashy. I will be returning them.

I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. The empire bust line is awkward. And if I bought a larger size, it might be lower but it would also gape in the way it is cut showing the side of my breasts. Disappointing because the material is great. I said the fit was right because the bodice isn't too small or too bigit's just wrong.

A well made, great looking dress but not for anyone with a bust or is tall. The seam sits right on the bust line making it very awkward.
