I have this dress in black and it is FABULOUS--helps keep me cool in the searing Southern heat.

Exactly what I needed and wanted for a trip to the tropics. Love the lightweight, cool, easy maintenance material. Fit exactly as I had wanted. So glad to have it for many trips to come as well as summers at home.

Cute dress. 56 150 lbs. medium was a good choice, though a tiny bit snug.

XL Black is true to the Columbia size chart. Unfortunately it is somewhat see-through. It feels different than one of the blue dresses (the black is not as silky, it feels a little rough). That is important if you are sensitive to fabrics like I am. So I can recommend the blue and green dress. Both do feel light and cool, that is a huge plus. Great for summer. Now this is a very thin dress which can show "everything" and be lifted by a breeze - please keep these in mind.

This is a really great little dress, however it is very body conscious so everything shows. Small was way too small so I am returning.

I have had three Columbia Freezer dresses, one maxi, 2 short, colors are black and navy. I've always wanted the coral colored dress in short length. Finally I nabbed it. The color is fabulous. It makes me look like I have a tan! BUT, it shows every lump and bump that I have. I wonder if it's the lighter color. 5'4", 110#, 32C, size SM is perfect. I get so many compliments on the other dresses, but this one (color) is almost embarrassing, and had to return.

Silky smooth fabric, drapes nicely, comfortable to wear on its own or as a coverup over a swimsuit. Lovely color and very flattering. I'll be buying another in a different color!

I get a new Freezer dress almost every year for my birthday gift to myself. I wear them almost daily for 10 months of the year here in SWFL. Cool, comfortable, sun protection and a nice length. They line dry very quickly, too. I am 73 years old, 5'7'', 129 lbs, 32DD and wear a Small.

Love the Style! I have several of these in prints and solid colors. They are comfortable. They are awesome for travel and o pack well. I just wish they had a pocket or 2!

Very cute and super comfy. Tummy doesn't show. Wash in hotel sink and hang up to dry overnight.

I love these dresses so much! Very lightweight and cool for hot summer days. I'm 5'6" 155 and medium fits great. I also love that my daughter and I can wear matching dresses since they make this same dress in girls sizes. My only complaint is the ugly triangle label on the back of the dress that says "PFG performance fishing gear". Please ditch this feature, Columbia!!! I do not fish, I will never fish, and this is a distraction from the dress itself.

I love this dress! Really flattering and comfortable. I do agree the bra line hits quite high, but really wasn't noticeable on the pattern I ordered and I'm 34DD. I'm 5'11" and 170.

I purchased this dress in size MEDIUM (but should have purchased Small) for my 19 y/o daughter who is 5'4" and 120 lbs. She has a slim build, and normally wears a 25 in jeans, and size 2-4 or XS/Small. Because she wanted something "loose," I ordered the MEDIUM, which was a mistake. The length hit her at mid-thigh, but the empire cut ended up making the dress look way too full through the body. The straps were also a bit to long for her. Again, I should've ordered a small and avoided the empire cut. (She has 2 other Columbia dresses in sizes XS & SM that look amazing!) Even so, the dress was still festive and comfortable. The fabric is light-weight, comfortably stretchy, and flows nicely. It feels like silky smooth, one-layer swimsuit material. Definitely quick dry and won't wrinkle. I have several Columbia dresses like this and love them. They're easy to dress up or down depending on shoes, jacket, jewelry, and perfect for travel. To pair with this dress, I bought the pink-ish Liverpool stretch (brushed cotton) jacket on Zappos, and they looked really cute together. I hope this helps.

Bought one and ordered 2 more after they came in. Lightweight, dries quickly, perfect summer dress! I'm an athletic 5'1" about 150 pounds and I wear a large comfortably.

Truly an adorable dress. Comfortable and lightweight. VERY flattering for a 60+ 5'10" tall woman. Will buy more. Fits nicely around the arms. I recommend buying one size up if carry some weight around the waist (and which 50+ yr old female doesn't?)

This dress is super cute, and comfy. Although it's a tank top style, bra straps are easily hidden. The dress is fitted up top, but has plenty of room in the bodice. I ordered this in both the small and medium, and I'll be returning the small as it's a little tight across the chest. I'm 4'10" and 125 pounds.

This a a very casual sporty style dress. I purchased for multiple uses to wear when the weather gets hot. I love it. It’s got a nice simple style , washes well an travels well . I am usually a small but ordered one small and one medium. The fit of the medium is much better so the small was traded in for another medium - different color . I have both the black painted coral and black. I am 65 and on the lean side and I like that it is not exclusively youthful and not at all frumpy.

Tried M and L, kept the L. Both fit great, went with the larger because it wasn’t tight on a DD top. True, it’s pocketless and “swimsuit” fabric, but the fun black & turquoise leaves print and the casual styling make it a keeper. Easily packable too.

Love this dress! Fabric is super fresh, doesn't wrinkle, and just a tad more substantial compared to similar brands. The weight seems to keep it manageable on a windy day & keep it from clinging to every little bump or minor imperfection! I bought the Vivid Blue Hawaii print. Colors are (like the name says...) 'vivid' red, white, and blue, but not obnoxious. This dress is definitely a vacation staple!

I live in a casual North Florida town where this dress is presentable for almost all occasions. It's extremely comfortable, washes and dries with ease, and the fabric is not clingy. I just got the black one, and I already had a tropical print. They always look fresh!

Runs TTS, super comfy, easy to wear dress. Love it!

The dress fit perfectly! Wore it for the 4th of July! Love this brand. Usually buy a dress every year from Columbia...will do so again next year!

This dress does everything you need it to do and STILL LOOKS GREAT! Cute and comfy so you can kayak or hike or walk or go to dinner!
