These trail pants are a nice combo of rugged and soft, with flex that moves with you. This is my second pair of Columbia hiking pants, and I have to return these, because they are cut short in the waist (crotch to waist) and are also tight in the waist for me. The other one I have is my go-to for most everything. I'll try again later. I'm 5'5" and 125 lb; returning the small.

I purchased these same pants last year & wanted to get a few more during a sale & they were too small!!! I still wear the ones I bought last year & the fit perfectly. Frustrating you cannot rely on consistent fit from year to year.

I ordered a size 6 and received a size 8 so they were too big -- returning them.

Nice fabric, a bit scratchy. These are not flattering at all on my body type - I have a pudgy tummy and slim rear and legs. The capris ride low, below my tummy, and balloon out over the upper legs, making me look clown like. They are going back...

I'm hoping that the Columbia brand lives up to its reputation as I'm taking these, roll up pants and 4 shirts to Africa next month. PS the next larger size fit well.

I am 5'5", 120#. These were too big, especially in the hips. I didn't like the knee closure.

Nice cut and like the feel of material but the pockets gap out constantly just from simple movement. Have to return.

Fits way too small! like 2 sizes too small if you have any thighs-forget this pant

Too short. I am tall and these hit mine must below the knee. I am looking for true capri's that are mid calf.

These are comfortable however I found the material slightly clingy after a summer of wear and washes. Also, the material has pilled so much that I don't feel comfortable wearing them in public.....just for yard work or solo hikes. I would not classify these as "trail" pants as they snag on rough surfaces such as logs and rocks.

i've been wearing this trail pant for several years and reordered new ones. Sadly, you've changed the cut and fit and they now run too small. The pants have been returned.

I did not like the fabric. I ordered the wrong size - I am a size 10 but this was too small for my usual size. Even if I ordered the "right size" I would have returned due to cut of the pants and the fabric.

I'm 5'6ish, 140lbs the size 10 fit fine however the material was kind of weird and I agree with another writer that I felt they were almost see-thru. I didn't love them enough to keep them.

One of the musts in a pair of casual or outdoor pants is the ability to wash and wear with no fuss. These have never come out of the dryer without a ton of wrinkles and I have yet to find a way around that.

I ordered these in Shale and Fossil. They are very snug (read "camel toe")! I probably wouldn't have kept them, though, because they are very wrinkly.

I should have read the previous reviews. I have a pair of these in a 10 that fit well so I ordered a 10. They fit more like a 6. Returning 2 pairs of these. I really wanted to love them!

I already had these in black, size 6. For a 6 they are snug but fine. The tan ones I just got, in a 6, are at least a full inch smaller in the waistband. Certainly not more than a size 4. Can't wear them.

I have several of these from past seasons and this year they are much smaller.

These have changed , they used to have more give and have none now disappointed

Sizing is off. Have a pair of these I've had a few years. Ordered same size. Waist was much tighter. Could not use.

These are nice pants with great fabric and style. Sizing is terrible!! I am very petite and bought size 6, sent it back, bought size 8, sent it back. I'm done!

The pants were a great fabric. The size was way off! I always take a size 12, but couldn't even get these on.

They changed the fit on these shorts, I have 3 pairs from last year which I love and the new pairs do not fit the same. They taper in around waist making fit awkward and uncomfortable
