Pants run small. I have the Columbia Anytime Capri in a size 8. Figured since these pants were made of the same material a size 8 would fit. I was wrong. They are smaller in the waist. Other than that I really like the pants. I will be returning for a bigger size. Columbia please be more consistent in sizing.

I love these knee pants. I have had them for 3 months and they are my go-to for hiking, walking, and other summer activities. Runs a bit small. They are cool and lightweight but not clingy. My only complaint is that the fabric has become completely pilled, and I find is not up to Columbia's usual high standard. Otherwise I would have given them a 5-star rating. Too bad as they are otherwise great.

I'm 5'9", 125 lbs. and ordered my usual size 4. I love the pants, they fit well, but are an inch or two too short for me. They fall just below my kneecaps, which looks and feels not quite right. These have an 18"inseam. 20" or even 19" would have worked.

Comfy and lightweight. Good for hiking and outdoor activities; slim fit in the legs so wouldn't want to sit a long time as binds a bit. A little too lightweight for my taste to be suitable for casual day at the office, but great for outdoors.

These run slightly small but that is true of most Columbia pants that I have tried. I am 5'3" and 145lb. The size 8 is a little tight but it does stretch out after wearing it for several hours. I work outdoors in Florida, and wear a climbing harness so heat is a factor. These do dry very quick. The material is very stretchy so they are great for someone that is active in them. The only issue that I have had is the pilling of the material. The material catches and "balls" up very easily - especially around the leg straps of the harness. I have another, newer pair that I save for days that I do not wear a harness and I have not had the pilling problem so it is probably not an issue for most people. I would recommend these pants and will continue buying them!

Comfortable, flattering and versatile. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that they wrinkle more than I was anticipating.

I bought these for a cruise, and continue to wear them often. Very comfortable, however I don't cinch up the leg hem as I find that to be uncomfortable. They look great, and fit perfectly. I wearing them hiking all the time.

If I could live in these shorts, I would. I traveled most of the summer and bought three bottoms with me; one of them I ended up never wearing, and the other one I only wore while I was washing these. The side pocket is great for things you want to hold securely -- a metro card, a small wallet, an iphone -- and the front pockets are roomy. The material is thin and comfortable and quick to dry, a major bonus when you're packing light. So why the four stars? The material, comfy though it is, is prone to pilling. I noticed extreme pilling in the bum area after the first wash (which was a gentle handwash). I don't know what caused the pilling -- the airline seat? The bus stop bench? The washing itself? That said, I'm going to give these another chance. I've lost a bit of weight and will be buying the next size down and taking the new pair with me on my next adventures. If they survive, I'll update this review and let people know the pilling was an anomaly.

I love Columbia casual pants and have at least 4 pair already....all size 4, but these ran small. I will exchange these and the Indigo color for size 6.

I usually wear a size 4 but this one runs a little tight around the waist. Order a size up if you want a more relax feel...

I ordered one size smaller than usual. I like how these pants are form-fitting on the butt and slightly loose on the leg. I wish the crotch had a bit more room because there is some camel toeing, but it's not terrible. They fall just below my knee, but can easily be worn above. The pocket lining is mesh and the butt pockets have small Velcro closures.

Lightweight, comfortable easy care. Runs a bit large (or maybe hiking pants are supposed to be a bit roomier?).

The waist is huge! Definitely designed for the apple body type, not for the pear shaped. Quality is good. I like the elastic leg because it can be pushed up into a short. I wish it came in a smaller size. Size 2 is the smallest which really fits more like a size 4.

I love the length of these. I'm long waisted and they seem to run a little small.

Love these pants! So I bought them In all 3 colors..but I don't like the front pockets. They stick out. Maybe some type of snap/zipper for the pockets. Also I didn't care for the adjustable strap at the bottom of each pant leg. I would prefer them to be hidden

I always wear a size 6 in this style Columbia capri. I have several pair of these. They were very nice but definitely ran small. Seemed like the waist/hip area was as wrong.

I have been wearing this capri for years and love them. They are so cool in the summer and generally give/stretch to accomodate any movements. They also dry quickly and hold up pretty well although they do have a tendancy to pill. I have to pull out the sweater shaver now and again to get rid of them. Downside to these is the sizing... If I have a major gripe about Columbia products is that their sizing is extremely inconsistent...even within the same style. Return is such a hassle and not inexpensive.

I purchased a size 10 after reading the other reviews. I usually wear size 8. 5'7 128lbs. At least the waistband is not too tight but the cut is not as nice as the original version of which I have at least seven or eight pair in size 8. The waist band fits but the legs and bum are a bit baggy. I would like to see the original version back again in the lightest tan, maybe it was called tusk? I probably won't buy any more of these capris pants unless the cut and sizing improves. Also, if the pockets are not stitched to the front pant leg the pants tend to fall nicely after multiple washes. When the pockets are stitched to the leg they look worn out sooner than later.

Very disappointed. I have these pants in a slate grey, size 8, and they fit well. I've had them for a few years. These are the only pants I have in size 8 - I typically wear a 6. I ordered the tan color in the size 8 and the waist was too tight - there is no longer any "give." Now, I see other reviewers have said the same thing. I just returned them. I felt like if I ordered a 10, they might have fit in the waist, though, would be too big otherwise. Columbia: Please change the sizing back to what it was. Also, women don't like to have to size up. If you're going to change how items are sized, have us go smaller, not larger!
