Great dress - quality and style. But when they say "slim fit" they aren't kidding! Even the shelf bra strap was too tight to breathe in. Returned original and ordered a size too big, and still sending back! Bummer.

Disgruntled - as a woman with a life long love affair with Patagonia clothing, this kills me. The shelf bra is so stiff I didn't want to break it as I tried to bring it over my head and shoulders. I am very small - very small - AA chest, small shoulders, petite stature - an XS should have fit exactly. It looks great, but the dress design is not good. I bought mine direct from the source, as I wanted the blue, but it is being returned. Too sad.

This is a really pretty dress. It fits on the tight side (like I am between a small and medium - I can wear both) I ordered a small and it was hard to get into and out of. There is a tye-dye design on the bottom. I could not get the straps to look right when I tied them around my middle. But it is a very cute dress. It hits above the knees.

I love this dress. I love it so much, I bought another one in a different color. It's so flattering. It's not too low cut, but the neck is not as high on me as it is on the model. The length is perfect (I'm 5'6"). And I love that you can wrap the straps to give it an empire waist look, or you can wrap them a little lower to accentuate your waist.

I am broad shouldered, 38B/C very athletically built. I bought the large at a local store and it was absolutely perfect! I wore this dress all day at an art fair booth and never once worried about my outfit. I absolutely love this dress. I just ordered another in the blue. I deem it an all day dress.

Overall, a great casual weekend dress. The fabric is packable and wearable, doesn't wrinkle- I haven't washed the dress yet but I'm confident it will hold up well. It's also softer than Patagonia dresses of previous seasons. The tie wrap gives it more of an empire waist look than I expected from the photos which isn't super flattering on me, and the print does that thing where if you stretch the fabric out you can see the white lines where the color wasn't printed. Seems like Patagonia is cheaping out a bit. The shelf bra is also less constricting than previous seasons but less supportive- fine with me because I always wear a real bra anyway! Also, I think the sizing (sort of as usual with Patagonia) runs large, I bought an XS and I'm 5'3" 130 lbs. I do like that it's shorter than most Patagonia dresses (finally, above the knee!) for a more flattering look on a short person like myself. So, there are a few issues which make the dress not *perfect* but I will be keeping it and I think I'll get a lot of casual use out of it.
