I recently bought these pants for a hiking trip to Utah. The connivence of the convertible pants was wonderful. Great fit and perfect fabric. I plan to order another pair!

I wanted comfortable pants that converted into shorts as my husband and I had a weekend trip planned on the Harley, therefore I had very little room to pack. These were exactly what I was looking for and they are amazingly comfortable. They fit perfectly, they wash and dry easily and it is very easy to convert them from pants to capris and also to shorts. LOVE THESE PANTS!

Wore this pant to Europe on 2 bike tours. Perfect pant. The material is water repellent! And I could roll one leg up to avoid the chain. The capri and the short look normal and cute, which can sometimes be an issue with a convertible pant. The pant is still flattering. I would say they run big. I am 5'2", 117 lbs, I usually wear a 4 or 6 short/petite. I ended up with a 2 short.

These pants were great - they were so versatile with the ability to wear them as shorts, capris (I hadn't realized this when I bought them) or shorts. They also dry super quick if you want to wash them in the sink. Makes packing easy - 3 in 1!

I saw a friend with these pants and asked her where she got them. She told me Zappos which I had never heard the name before. I ordered a pair and love them.

Love these pants! Bought in two colors, packed small for travel, and very comfy for hiking or just lounging.

Great pants. Water repellent, comfy, thin, but not too thin. I am usually size 0, but I had to get size 2 for a good fit. Back pockets make these pants look and fit good from the back, if you know what I mean ;). Better than the other model by North Face with hidden pockets on the back. I liked the fabric of this model better too. Front pockets are easily accessible too, unlike on the other model.

I also wanted to note that from my previous review I am likely to be a similar size to the North Face model but I like wearing my pants low rise sitting at my hips (pants sit about 5 inches below my umbilicus). In the North Face picture she has the pants on right below her umbilicus. Granted a size 4 would be a sleeker and tighter fit and look. But I wear all my pants and jeans at my hips so the size so the size 6 worked for me, my style and preferred fit.

I bought a pair of North Face Convertible pants a few years ago in size large/long, and I LOVE them. These are the closest I have found to the same thing, but I wish they came with the SML sizing and elastic waist.

Love the fabric....splashes roll right off. When legs are zipped off the shorts are a little binding on the thighs when sitting. The color is nice and as usual, TNF has made another quality product.

These pants have all the makings of a great outdoor/ hiking pant. I really wanted them to work but unfortunately they were slightly too big. The butt and crotch were too baggy and would have looked and fit terribly after a few days of hiking and stretchy out. I am 5'5', 110 pounds and ordered a size 0.

I love the length, but these are too tight. These run a little small in the waist and butt. The fabric does not have a great feel, not like Under Armor but I like the style. Back they go.

Looking for a pant lightweight and quick drying. Normal pant size: 6. I'm 5'-6, 130 lbs, 37.5 hips, so searching for pants to camouflage my hips. I've tried Kuhl, Lole, Prana, Merrell and Outdoor Research. Based on reviews of similar pants, I ordered size 8, but they were way too big. I can tell by the styling that size 6 would not work at all based on the pockets hit which are bulky and definitely hit my hips in the wrong place. Great quantity of pockets, however, for outdoor adventuring, good length.

I ordered these a size larger than I usually wear because I didn't want them to be tight. I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs, a little wide in the hips, but these fit evenly, similar to the pictures. The material is a little thicker and coarser than I would like but I hope it softens in the wash.

Great pants for outdoor hiking, etc. but terrible problem with sizing. The same size pant can vary greatly in fit. I normally wear a 6. It was huge. The 4 long was still a bit large and long so I ordered a 2---too tight. Tried another 4, this time in regular length and it was larger than the 6! Crazy. Love the pants but sending them all back because of this issue. If you can get the right fit, they'd be great.

The bottoms of these pants are like bell bottoms from the 60s. Not attractive at all. I liked the pockets and the fit was ok, but the styling of the legs was just too ugly.

I bought these for hiking. I wish that I never bought these! The thighs are tight. Even though I bought a larger size!
