My girls loved these shoes. We bought them at the beginning of the school year and they wore them everyday. We got tons of compliments and I was sure they'd last until we could donate them! Unfortunately, that did not happen. BOTH pairs within a couple weeks of each other had a strap break in the same spot. If one pair had broken I would have thought it was a defective pair, but to have BOTH break in the same spot, it's obviously a flaw in the design. Sigh... Zappos is great and I was able to get new shoes for them, but be aware these are not as durable as most Keen's.

Daughter loves these shoes! They are very comfortable and stylish for athletic shoes. She has narrow feet, so the closure works well for her to be able to cinch them as tight as necessary.

My 7 year old is a Type 1 diabetic with eczema, and we've had a terrible time finding gym shoes that have enough air circulation to not aggravate the skin on her feet. She also has a wide foot, making the search for shoes that much harder. Her school requires gym shoes each day - she has either dance class or gym class five days a week. We were at the point of getting a letter from the endocrinologist asking the school to waive the gym shoe requirement, because the skin on her feet was in awful shape. Then we found these shoes. The salesman assured me they were breathable - I had my doubts. The kid runs around all day and sweats into her socks; these shoes couldn't be THAT different. They are. A week after she started wearing them, the skin on her feet was totally normal. They are technically gym shoes, so they meet the school requirement. They're comfortable, supportive, and cute - plus the stretchy lacing means we don't have to go through 10 minutes of shoe-tying multiple times a day. She loves them. I'm buying the next two sizes up, just in case they're discontinued, to have on hand as her feet grow. These shoes are GREAT.

My 10 year old daughter has had several pairs of Keens for camp and they are great. This pair is just as good as previous pairs. They are comfortable and hold up well for all summer sports. She wore them fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming in the lake.

These were purchased for a hiking camping adventure and my daughter is super excited about them. She loved the color and the fit!

These shoes were purchased for our hiking trip and they seem like they will work great. I didn't want a stiff high top hiking boot that my daughter would have to break in since she is used to wearing athletic shoes. These have a rugged, sturdy sole that will give good traction for climbing rocks and walking on trails. They are a little larger than I was anticipating after measuring her foot using the Keen foot guide. Wish they came in 1/2 sizes!

These are hands down the best shoes I purchased for my very active 9 year old. We are going on almost a full year in these and they still look pretty good. No complaints about hot feet or feet hurting. Used for regular activity like recess running and for sports. Great great purchase! Oh and love the look.

Fantastic, holds up very well compared to the several pairs of other sneakers that were worn through very quickly.

These are the only style sneaker I buy for both my son and daughter. The Keen toe tip holds up to everyday playground use the best of any shoe I have tried!! The mesh outer keeps their feet dry when they sweat and so durable. I will continue to buy these every year!!! Highly recommend.

Came back to Zappos to purchase a second pair! They have been perfect for my 8 year olds summer day camp in the woods. She walks a lot (she says!) and it is hot. She hasn’t complained that her feet are too hot with ankle socks and these shoes on, so I imagine they are breathable. She is required to have closed toe shoes at camp and these were a great find. The reason I am buying another pair is because I have found they wash really well. They come home daily stained with dirt/mud. I spray them with spray remover and run them through the wash. They come out looking brand new. I don’t like waiting for them to air dry — so adding another pair for rotation.

These shoes are bright and cute. My daughter loves them and wants to wear them everyday. They don’t have laces so she can be independent and Keens last forever. I always buy her Keen tennis shoes because they hold up well and I don’t have to buy more than 1 per size. They also wash well and it keeps them looking good throughout their life.

I have bought two pairs of these Keens for my child. They are easy to put on and take off in a hurry, yet they are supportive for P.E. and playing hard. They seem to hold up well. I have even thrown them in the washing machine. My child grew so fast we had to buy a bigger size after 6 months, however the shoes still look great.

These are a true fit to size and adorable shoes. My daughter (8) loves them and loves the ease of "tying" them. She has gotten many compliments already and can run and play with them because she says they are very comfortable. Fabulous shoes!

My daughter has sensory processing issues and has difficulty finding tennis shoes she can wear comfortably. These shoes are the only ones that she will wear. She is able to tighten them the way she likes herself since it has toggle rather than tie (she cannot tie shoe laces yet). We are so relieved to have found these shoes.

My daughter loves these shoes! They hold up well to preschool and she doesn't rip the toes off! Very comfortable!

My daughter wants to wear her Keen sandals year round, so I'm glad they offer these close-toed shoes that are just as comfortable!

My daughter loves these shoes. Great for hiking, they clean up easily, and have held up extremely well to some tough rock climbing, streams, and dusty trails. Will definitely buy these again when she outgrows this pair.
