So what I’ve learned after trying Seacamp And Newport model for my child. Seacamp will work best if your child has normal or slender width. If your child has wider feet like mine Newport fit much better. Otherwise they are both very nice shoes.

This is a great shoe. My son has worn them every day for the last 4-5 months and the only wear they show is on the toggle string because he was pulling too much on it. The playground sand falls right out of them, the tread is great, they wash well, and they are easy for him to get on. I got them in cactus green and they go with everything. Definitely a lighter and less clunky style for keen. Will purchase again for next summer. Only downside is they get really stinky. Found a tip that works well sin place of always machine washing them: lightly cover the inside soles with baking soda and place in ziplock over night in the freezer.

I bought these shoes for my 9 year old grandson. His foot runs a bit wide. He put the shoes on and ran out into the yard to play. There was zero breaking in period! He was comfortable from the first moment. Shoes are holding up well. I highly recommend these shoes for a very busy little boy!

Our children live in their Keens each summer. We usually get Hurricanes but this year, we went with the Seacamp, which is slightly more open for sand /surf and solid ground and also offers closed toe protection. So far, it is perfect...and they look great. Not a super bright red so they go with lots of basic summer colors. They don't rub or give blisters and right now they also don't smell (we will see if that lasts...we have some pairs that don't smell and other that do).

My new FAVORITE spring, summer and fall shoe along with the other 2 pair I have in different colors...They have truly been a blessing! I'm a very active older women with a small foot, so the kids sizes are perfect, I also have bunions and a bad back which makes finding something wide enough and comfortable enough to wear for long periods had been a challenge for quite some time. I also have to have something cute and stylish....these Keens are perfect and a must have, I want a pair in every color! I bought these for my son to wear this summer. They fit great and he really liked the style. But after 1.5 months of wearing, the elastic thread that helps tighten them snapped and there’s no way to fix it. Very disappointed in these. For a brand like Keen and for paying over $50 for sandals, you’d think they would have at least lasted through the summer.

The backs of these shoes are so tight that my child could barely pull them onto this feet. Once we got them onto his feet, he said they dug into his heels. We have had good experiences with Keen shoes in past years, but these are terrible. For $50 for a pair of child's shoes, I except much better.

These shoes were exactly what we were looking for! They fit my son perfectly, and no blisters! Nice for his more narrow feet, and comfortable right out of the box and with lots of walking. Bonus: no smell.

I buy Keens every summer for my 3 little boys aged 3, 5, and 7 and they all end up living in them! They withstand puddles, tree climbing, bike riding, the beach etc etc. I admit that I’ve tried to save money in the past by buying a cheaper version but went back to Keens because nothing holds up like them, specially the Velcro.

My grandson doesn’t like flip flops but he loves these. I buy him a pair every year. If in between sizes I suggest going down instead of up. He wears a 1 1/2 so I ordered the 2. Sent it back and got the 1. He still had a thumbs length to grow. We got red which was a true red. Love keens, they always out grow them before they tear up!

This is my son’s 2nd pair. He loves them since they act like sneakers. They are perfect for camp.

We needed a new pair of summer sandals for our four-year-old because his flip-flops "wouldn't let him run fast enough" because the flip-flops would fall off his feet when he ran around. These sandals were perfect. Not only did they come in his favorite color red, he can run really fast In them. They also protect his feet when he's running on rocks or gravel. Highly recommend these shoes for an active toddler.

These are great shoes. I wear a wmn's size 7. I have a wide-ish foot and sometimes buy boys 5.5. I purchased size 6 (no half sizes). I wear my inserts with them and they are still a bit long, so next time I'd go with a 5. That said, I love them enough not to return them. The width is perfect for me. I really like that the heel is closed. I hiked the Narrows Trail (through a rushing, rocky stream) in Zion with them and they were fine. They are very comfortable, wherever I'm walking.

I wasn't sure what size my sone would find most comfortable so ordered these in a size 3 and a size 4. The size 3 might have been fine, but what we actually received in the size 3 shoe box was one size 3 and one size 4. The two size 4s in the other box fit well enough that we'll probably keep them.

These shoes are very nice looking. I could not get them on, too small for me, but they certainly looked comfortable and cute.

These did not work for my son. We've had Keen sandals for years but the low profile sole did not give him enough support. He ended up wearing tennis shoes all summer instead of these. Will buy the regular ones next time!

This big kid's 4 fit perfectly on my adult 5.5 medium feet. The shoes have good support and are very comfortable on my overly operated-on feet.

Best summer shoes for active kids. Closed toe design keeps their toes from getting scuffed up while riding bikes or running outside, and the sandal design provides breathability during hot summers. This is my third summer buying these for my kids!

My son has slightly wide feet but these still fit perfect. True to size, durable, and he loved them.

Great for my growing boy! Wears them daily in the Spring/Summer months. Sometimes with socks.....more often not (thankfully ;-) ) Love that they are easily washed as well.

The shoes are quite comfortable and perfect for helping family members who need assistance in the shower. The shoes have great traction are great water shoes and dry quickly. Also are perfect for going to the river as they protect your feet from the pokey rocks. I think that the shoes would be for great for rafting. I love the shoes.

These are not the Keens I know and LOVE size wise...they run alot narrower than the Newports. If you have a narrow foot, these might be the shoe for you. They are Keens, and good for all summer activity, but these sandals run super narrow, be aware.

Our kiddos live in Keens throughout the summer. Water resistant, protective of little toes and so easy to put on! Been buying this brand seemingly forever. fantastic shoes.
