I have 2 pair of black, one for now and the other when current wears out, dark pewter which looks like silver, cognac which gets many compliments and white. These are my favorites to wear for all occasions. Also have low lace in black. All are true to size and so very comfortable and stylish, very dressy casual . The leather is so soft and supple, comfort is amazing. No break in, just open the box slip on and go. I wear a 5.5 normally and in Fryer.

I love the looks of them, although I don't know why they are so expensive. There is absolutely no support to them , it's like walking on a hard surface. I got this pair on sale and I'm glad I did. I won't be buying more. Also, $12.00 for shipping is ridiculous.

Sizing is way off. Returned.

This is the second time I have bought these. First time was several years ago. They are comfortable and was very happy to find they are still available now that I need to replace my original ones. I usually wear a size 7 but needed to get 6.5. They are snug but I know from my prior pair they do stretch so happy down sizing

Ive been wearing these specific shoes for years and have gone through 3 pairs- I bought another for an upcoming trip because I knew Id be walking a lot, and they absolutely rip my heels apart. The reason I loved these so much is because they never did that, and its so rare to find! But sadly this new pair is really painful.

They are stylish and very comfortable and go with pants & skirts.

I have had the cognac Melanie slip-ons for several years, and they are still my favorites. They are very comfortable and "elevated" casual. I just bought 3 more pair to ensure I never run out.

Not really comfortable

I have worn the Carson flat for years, in many colors. I was a little disappointed in the Melanie. With a slightly narrow foot, I am forced to wear a thin no-show sock in order to fill them out. I like the styling but couldnt return because they were on sale. Oh well.

Very thin sole and weak sides, was hoping these would fit and be supportive like me Ivy and Lena sneakers. Not happy about return fee, it is rare that I am not happy with a Frye product

Was very excited to try. Did not notice reviews noting shoe being too wide. These were unusually wide and no way I could wear. Disappointed in $15 return fee.

I bought these shoes in Cognac at least 3 years ago and have loved them. They are obviously a casual shoe so they look best with jeans or casual pants. There was no break in period, just felt great from taking them out of the box. They are still in good condition even after wearing them in all kinds of weather although the leather now looks like I need to clean them up, however, even with all the wear the leather looks just about the same as the picture in the ad. If you are looking for a comfortable casual shoe this is it.

Worst experience ever. I still havent received my shoes! On a hunch I looked online to see they were being redirected and set back. After emailing customer support, because there is no other way to be in contact, I received no response. Then received this email asking how I like my purchase? Answer: First time, last time shopping at Frye.

This color is not what I wanted.

I ordered these to replace a pair of well worn Melanie slip ons that I love. How ever the quality of the leather is unsatisfactory and I will be returning these. The leather on the heel area of one shoe is very rippled and would not be expected on a shoe of this cost. I contacted customer service but am still waiting for their assistance.

I love the shoes. Very pretty design and comfortable however I had to size up a half size because of the pointy toe but use an insert for the 8 because I have a narrow foot and it was a little wide.
