I bought this for my boyfriend and I was surprised how soft it was. He loves wearing it and cannot wait until it cools down. It's perfect for the fall. We live in Colorado and he plans to wear it hiking and biking up in the mountains where it is a little cooler.

After ordering the Thermoball and wearing that for along time I felt comfortable with sizing and I knew this fleece would fit perfectly...and it did! it fits snug to arms and torso so you don't look 10lbs heavier than you actually are. the Diagonal chest pocket is a stylish yet functional aspect of this jacket. Weather it be for headphones and keeping the from catching your arms whilst running or sticking your smartphone in it to keep it dry in a light sprinkle. Which leads me on to another great point. This fleece is slightly water proof and wind proof. Now don't test my claim by wearing it in the shower but while running to the bus top from your office building or a quick jaunt in the rain to your tent from the bizy hole in the mountains. This jacket is ideal. I put it on and went climbing in its first outing and it stretched to allow me to reach the toughest holds and it also breaths well so I didn't get sweaty in the torso as much as everywhere else. I love it and will continue to promote it when people ask.

No wrist holes but otherwise advertised. Fit is tight, so if you intent to wear layers, order size up.

Like others I am very happy with this hoodie. Unfortunately the picture does not match the product. I actually ordered this hoodie and another color and both had black zipper pulls which does not match the photo. Luckily I found some nice red zipper pulls from MSR that look great.

A light sweater that fits snug, and delivers comfortable warmth, with a great look. Especially like the cell pocket in the chest; now I can hear my phone ring outdoors.

This is the best hoodie I've ever owned. Fits great. Nice and warm but not bulky. Fits well. Love the materials. Seems to be well made and should last a long time. Another great item from North Face.

Purchased this fleece because I was looking for a light hooded jacket. Upon arrival the colors did not match the advertised picture. Still a great jacket and I highly recommend it.

Really nice 1/2 zip, quite comfortable and fits well. My only complaint is that I ordered the charcoal/red and the zipper pulls aren't red like they are in the picture. Other than that, 10/10!

This jacket is awesome. It is lightweight, warm and very good looking. The size is perfect. I used the sizing feature on the website to determine how it would fit for me and it absolutely nailed it! I can tell this jacket will last a long time and will work with many activities.

Awesome jacket, nice and light for fall and spring days. Fleece lined on the inside, athletic fit. Pocket zipper was broken upon arrival, NF sent me a prepaid label and shipped me a new one as soon as information was confirmed by fedex. Amazing Service!!

Leightweight, warm, and great for layering. I live in NY and weather has been extremely bipolar. This helps take some of the random weather fustrations I did get the wrong size but that was quickly alleviated when I did a fast size exchange in-store.

This half zip is awesome. I usually buy the fleece material quarter zips, but I found that they stretched out too easily and the fleece frilled up if you washed it too much. Not with the canyonland. I have recently purchased two more of these babies because the fit is snug and slim fitting. I and 6'1 165lbs and a M is perfect. The material is durable and can stand up to a beating in the wash. More importantly, it is warm. I definitely would recommend to anyone searching for a great item to throw on when it's getting a bit chilly.

I would like to recommend North Face clothing to everyone for the following reasons. After over 40+ years of skiing all over the continental US, I have purchased a lot of ski gear for all types of weather/conditions. I have purchased from many different brands/makers, including Columbia, Marmot, ArcTerix, Mountain Hardware, LL Bean, etc. Just this year North Face again made me a real believer in their products, especially the lifetime warranties. I had purchased a hard shell jacket with all the bells/whistles (and expensive at the time) a considerable period of time ago. I wore the jacket every winter to ski, including some deep powder at times. The jacket was my favorite of all jackets, including style/looks. In the late summer of this upcoming season (2014/2015) I noticed a layer of the inner jacket (possible water proofing) was starting to flake away. When visiting The North Face store in Burlington, VT, the mgr. advised me to ship it back to North Face and they would either repair it, or replace it. I did what he advised and North Face responded, stating that the jacket had been purchased in 1993 (22 yrs old), and was not repairable. For that reason North Face offered me a $400.00 credit to use toward another jacket. I subsequently used the credit to purchase a new NFZ hard shell from the Burlington, VT store. I have been very happy with my new shell, although I still miss my old jacket. Therefore, North Face has made me a true believer, and I will probably never buy anything other than North Face in the future! Since purchasing the NFZ, I have purchased a Canyonlands fleece, a different North Face fleece (can't recall name) and a new pair of North Face Chillkat II pull on boots. With the good ole winter we have had back east, I have worn all numerous times to ski, shovel snow, and outdoors in general. The only slight issue I have had is that the NFZ jacket and Canyonlands fleece could have been just a little fuller cut all over for my body type (the NFZ powder skirt gets tight against the waist unless I pull it up higher, and the sleeves and shoulders in the fleece are a little tight). I am a little stocky, but still have quite a bit of muscle mass for a 60 something male. North Face forever for me!
