I purchased a Bahama long sleeve Columbia youth shirt for my Grandson to go on vacation to keep sun off skin. It has UV sun protection. He loves this shirt so much he didn't want to take it off. I will probably buy another one for him. Fits true to size.

Well made shirt that is cool and keeps the sun off my toddler!

This shirt is well-made with quality material. I chose 'vivid blue' for matching Grandpa/Grandson shirts -the color is beautiful!

I bought this as a birthday gift to my great nephew. I bought one for his dad the month before. He was thrilled with the shirt! He wore it for the first day of school. It washes and wears well. Father and son frequently wash them. Note: the activity level is for the father and son. They fish a lot!

It's very hard to find this type of travel/outdoor shirt for kids. It is comfy, lightweight, and has vents, pockets and roll tab sleeves. We wear our Columbia adult shirts when traveling and hiking for comfort and sun protection and the kids shirt is the same high quality. An added bonus is they look nice and kids think they look like Indiana Jones.

I purchased this for my 6 yr old son for hiking. He has a long torso and the size small fits him well without being too long. It keeps him cool and he doesn't get too hot leaving the sleeves down in ~60-65 degree weather in the bright Colorado sunshine so he gets the benefit of the UV protection on his arms and neck with the collar. We purchased the Vivid Blue color and it is as bright as the online photo shows. It's nice to have a different color than khaki or gray.

I bought three of these shirts, one for all three of my sons. They are bigger than I expected, but that is okay with me. That just means that they will be wearing them for a year or two before outgrowing. I love the quality and color (we got light blue).

Our kids are outside all the time. Sometimes sunscreen just won't cut it for a variety of reasons. These shirts are our saving grace as they keep the kids cool and comfortable AND protect them from the sun.

Excellent product. However size was snug fit. No allowance for growth. Recommend one size larger than indicated by measurements ie., L to XL.

Quick Drying material and kids love it because there not wearing a soggy wet shirt all day

I bought this shirt as an all around outdoors shirt for my son who just turned 5. So far we have used it for fishing, hiking, and canoeing. It has a bunch of fishing specific features that my son has not used yet (and probably won't be ready to use until he out grows the shirt). The shirt provides great sun protection and quick drying, which is great on hot days. On cool days and mornings the shirt is a bit too cool for my son, but that is easily solved by adding a layer or hat. The InsectBlocker technology would be great in this shirt!! Think about it Columbia :)

Great girft for my 5 year old.

I felt this ran a little small (short sleeves, especially) but the material and overall style is great quality.

Nice shirt for my 6 yr old (48 lbs, 49") Fits him well, with some room. The vibrant blue color is exactly as pictured. Had hoped there would be some stretch to the shirt but there's almost none.

LOVE that this is light and sun protective, but I wish they had the super bahama available in kids sizes because this fabric feels slightly heavier/stiffer than my adult super bahama shirts. My daughter loves the fit and color

I am a 5'1" 105lb women, the boys size L fits me pretty well except the shoulder is a bit tight. Wish you will change the shoulder design and use UPF50 material.

Overall the shirt is very good, with the exception of the sleeves. The cloth tab used to secure the sleeve when rolled up is so short it is virtually unusable. The sleeve has to be rolled so tightly that it is bunched up and uncomfortable.

Got it for my 9 year old who wears M shirts. The sleeves are just a LITTLE bit shorter than I expected. Overall, very good quality shirt and will be fun for him to wear while fishing. Great quality.

While I often buy boys xl clothes I found this shirt to be on the small side. I'm 5'2" and 120lbs and flat chested. I found it to be tight in the shoulders and not long enough. I also found the fabric to be rough, stiff and uncomfortable even with a tank shirt under. I've washed it multiple times and still don't care for it. I tend to grab other shirts first. Colors nice I'll probably save it for when my daughter gets bigger.

The size chart says the sleeves for XL is 33 inches. It's more like 35 inches.

My child is an average sized 4 year old and I measured him and the XXS should have fit perfectly- it was very very tight and pretty short. His tummy hung out when he put his arms up. I had read the reviews and it said "fit to size" but I'm curious if people had sized up like I normally do for my child with more expensive items. Anyway, I got the XS and it fits I would definitely size up for it to fit.

I have 2 boys ages 12 and 14 and they are both on the small side for their age (and both close to the same size). The L (14/16) fits them well but is definitely not baggy. We purchased these expecting to get another year out of the shirt but that will clearly not happen. Very surprised that they run so small.
