Love the foot-bed and the support. I thought the ribbon post would be soft and comfortable, but it wasn't for me. I also have a dorsal bunion on my right foot that was irritated by the strap - sorry Vionic. I'll have to try another style.

This is not an exciting shoe, however, if you need support for your arches it is terrifically comfortable. I wear these a lot and they look nice with jeans and capris.

I really like the arch support and footbed shape on these. They were a little bit heavy for my preference for flips, so that's the main reason I returned them. The straps were also a little bit loose, but that alone wouldn't have been a deal breaker. It's that plus the combination of the weight of the shoe.
I have a need for good arch support (especially after breaking my foot two summers ago) and have relatively high arches and narrow feet. I tried a few other brands with similar arch support at the same time as these, so the Vionics just didn't make the cut this time.
However, I'm glad I tried them and will have my eye on this brand in the future b/c they do seem to have some trendier styles. I usually end up with pretty boring or sporty-looking shoes for reasons of comfort, so it's refreshing to see the variety they have beyond just basic black and flips and slides that have arch support, but don't look like they are too bulky.

These shoes do relieve my heel pain, but they are very uncomfortable between my toes. Once I find a good fix for the latter, they'll be perfect.

I liked the look of these flip-flops OK, but my foot slipped around a bit too much in them. For an orthotic sandal, I like a more secure fit. Otherwise they were fine.

The arch support makes this such a comfortable flip flop! I was so excited when I started wearing it. But then by the end of the day the space in between my toes started to really hurt. Hopefully my skin just has to get used to the part in between the toes because it is stiff?

Strap is much too large for the size...and the shoe would be too short if I sized down a whole size. Excellent arch support, nice looking shoe...if you have a wide foot, this is the shoe for you. Great support.

These are cute and comfortable, but I did not like the plastic footbed. As I walked I felt like my foot was slapping on the footbed. While the sandal itself is comfortable, I would say the footbed is not so comfortable.

For those of us that need good support, the Tide II is a cheap version of the original Tide. Very disappointed in the new shoe. Will not be buying again & I have been a long time lover of these shoes.

They run big, so order one size down since they don't have half sizes. I wear 9-1/2, bought size 10 and they were way big. Had to reorder a 9 which fit great. I wore them for a day and my feet were sore, they have great arch support and wasn't used to that. Overall good quality.

I, too, had a pair of these back when the company was just Orthaheel. These are certainly different. The look is better, but the feel is different. The heel cup isn't as deep, but then again, the shoe is softer to walk on. The toe post does not fit me right or something. It digs in. I wear them every other day and alternate with my old ones! The quality seems fine. They are narrower than my old ones...not as sloppy of a feel. My previous Tides completely resolved my plantar fasciitis. They were a miracle. Now I wear them just because they are comfortable. If you're struggling with PF, give them a try. With Zappos awesome service, you can't go wrong.

Bought these for foot support (heel and arch), and easy on and off (like a slipper), and they succeeded in these areas. They're a rubber like material so not cuddly at all. If you have problem feet, you need these and you'll wear them. If you have no foot problems, you'll find something more attractive. I always order a size down for sandals - did so for these and that worked just fine (five rather than a six). I gave the sandals an overall 4 because of their support.

Pretty comfortable. Could be softer. I have a very high arch and it helps support my foot. Good for Plantar Faciitis.

I love the look of these, they were exactly what I was looking for - a smarter flip flop that was comfortable without looking too clumpy. Only problem was the arch support. As many other reviewers have said, the arch support is very high - I have quite a high instep and these were too high for me. So, unfortunately, I am having to return them. Other than that, I really loved them!

Orthaheel was recommended by my physical therapist to help posture (re arthritic hip, and knee injury). It's not very fashionable...reminds me of a man's flip flop, which is maybe why they add fake shiny patent leather to the tops. Wish they were prettier. They are also a little on the large size in all dimensions. Wish they made half sizes. I am usually a straight 10, and these are 10s (9s are too short). But they are functional as needed, and feel heftier than other strongly arched sandals I've had. I'm keeping 3 pairs (had ordered 5, to see the colors, and as they are not inexpensive, can't keep them all). I'd also like to say that Zappos is fabulous as usual! Thank you Zappos!

I have several pair of Orthaheel sandles and these did not disappoint me. I still love the soles of Orthaheel shoes.

I am a very harsh critic of shoes, due to multiple foot problems (plantar fasciitis, neuromas, and a bunion). My typical footwear is running sneakers with orthotics, per my podiatrist's recommendation. I wanted a cooler option for summer, so I took a chance on these flip-flops. I am quite pleased. I wish the footbed was a tiny bit softer, but since I can hardly ever find comfortable shoes these are definitely a winner. I normally wear size 8.5, so whole sizes are tough, but the size 9 fits perfectly. If you have foot issues and need support, these are worth a try.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, however, I am very disappointed that they are wearing out under the toe part. They do not seem to be very well made considering that I have had them since June. I will order another pair and hope that they do not do the same. They seem a bit cheap.

Since Vionic has been making Orthaheel, I think the footbed it much softer. That's not a good thing. This sandal has great arch support. But I will be watching to see how well it hold up, as compared to the original Orthaheel.

I bought these because I was having ball of foot pain. No more pain. They have excellent arch support; however, they are heavy and stiff, and the straps don't hug my feet. I also bought the Shawn slippers which I highly recommend for foot pain. I usually wear size 7, but these run big so I bought 6's.

Jury is still out on this one. Kind of have a love-hate relationship with the shoe. Has excellent and needed arch support, but seems like it is not quite deep enough, or the toe post is too short, as it pulls to the outside putting uncomfortable pressure on the second toe. Wearing them around the house to see if they will get more comfortable with time. Still debating to keep or return.

I love these shoes. They are nicely made, great arch support, but unfortunately they are way too wide for my feet. I don't have narrow feet, I think these just run wide. I will be sending them back.

Runs large. Wear 6 1/2 tennis shoe but ended up with size 5 in this thong. Size 6 was too large. Otherwise, a great wearing thong. Would recommend, if you can figure out your size.

Great shoe except for the wide strap that goes between your toes. I think if I wore this shoe it would probably rub a raw spot. Otherwise loved the fit and the feel.

These are fantastic, and offer excellent support. I've been suffering from plantar faciitis and these have helped immensely. The only reason that I give them 4 stars instead of 5 all across is that the soles make my feet hot- which seems like it'd be impossible in a flip-flop, but somehow the rubber (or whatever it is) on the bottom of these make my feet feel hot on the bottoms. Still, I'm willing to overlook that because of the comfort that they offer (and they are cute, too!)
