I am a 7 1/2, slightly wide, and the "old" Vionic Tide size 8 were a great fit with fab arch support. So the hard footbed was an OK trade off. The current Vionic 8 is too big and loose and looks it. The 7 is too small and my foot looks stuffed and hangs over side. The arch support seems slightly different, still good though. It's worth it to try it and check your fit. It's still a great flip flop, sadly not for me.

This is my 2nd pair. My first pair were the Ortho heel brand and lasted over 10 years. They were more narrow and for better, these are too wide and sloppy on my feet

I share the same opinion as other costumers regarding that this model Tide, by Vionic is not as confortable as the one made by Orthaheel. The feeling when wear it, its not the same, it does not feel soft. But still I just cant live without them so I bought another pair. Now I have 2 by Vionic but still have my old ones by Orthaheel. They have been with me for a looong time.
I'd also recommend:
I only use Vionic

The Vionic Tide II is your basic flip flop with excellent arch support. In fact, once you start wearing them, you won’t care much for the feel of an ordinary pair of flip flops. However, they run large in length (be sure it go down a size), don’t come in half sizes, and have only one width. I wear a 10.5 N normally (when I can find that size!) so I purchased the 10. The length was fine, but it is wide for me. Anyone who has a narrow foot knows you can get away with a medium width in a flip flop. But with the Vionics and all that arch support, your foot is kind of sliding around. It looks clunky on a narrow foot, too. I kept the shoes reluctantly since they’re expensive. And I will just use them around the house and pool. They’re not the least bit flattering.

I was told by my podiatrist to get these shoes for their arch support. Holy smokes there is so much arch support that it takes some getting used to!!!! I have to say they have helped with my plantar fasciitis though, which was the goal!!!!!! The reason I gave them a 3 star for comfort is the reason stated above. They are a very firm shoe. I just had to get used to them!

The strap was a little snug, but not too bad. Great flip flop if you want to wear flip flops & not have your feet killing you by the end of the day. I have achilles tendonitis & I absolutely cannot wear flat shoes, especially flip flops. I can however wear these for several hours. Worth the money.

I developed PF all of a sudden last month. I was looking for flip flops I would be able to wear for the summer. I came across quite a few recommendations for the Vionic Tide II. I am not disappointed in the least. I have had little or no pain when I wear these around for most of the day. They have great arch support, which is good for my flat feet. I usually wear a 10.5 to 11, sometimes I wear a wide. I bought these in a 10 and they fit perfect. Sometimes I can wear a 9 in flip flops, but because of the arch in these I needed to stick with the 10 so the foot bed would be correctly aligned. The biggest drawback I think, is that they are a bit heavy. I bought the black and the black floral. The black floral is VERY nice and goes well with a lot.

These sandals were recommended by my chiropractor because their design is better for you than most flip flops. After wearing them, I could tell a difference. I had less ankle and low back pain. I wish they were a bit more stylish.

Had to order 1/2 size larger than normal. Arch support was a bit too much for my comfort. Otherwise, very stylish.

I’m no girly girl so the simple style was perfect, flattering without sparkles or flowers. I was pleasantly surprised by the obvious arch support when I put them on.

While I agree with the other reviews who said this version of the Tide is not the same as the Orthaheel original, it is still a very good flip flop. I have very high arches, had foot surgery, and still suffer from PF. I also have a pair of the original Orthaheels (now old, worn out, and relegated to the "garden" because they've gotten so stained). I get what others are talking about...it is not quite the same. (Shoe companies do this...the original Skechers Go Walks were still the best version, no matter how many revamps Skechers tries to come up with...and they never admit that they got it right the first time. LOL.) Still, I like this shoe...a lot! It still has good support and it's still cushy. The toe post doesn't bother me - wore them right out of the box to walk down the street to the mailbox! Time will tell if it holds up as well as the original has.

I loved the look of this shoe. However, if you have very flat feet, then this is probably not the shoe for you. I found the arch support so high that it was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the shoes are going back.

I wear these all the time. These fit as others do. The cork color option does have gold specks in the cork finish on strap just so you know. I like the cork option but wish they had a nice, beige option too.

I wear Vionic Tides almost all the time so these were replacements for ones I had worn out. They fit the same as all other Tide IIs that I have.

I bought a pair of Tide ll flip flops last year n a size 8. They fit perfectly. I ordered another pair this year in a size 8 and they were way too small. The length and width were easily a full size off. Putting the old 8 and the new 8 side by side, you could easily see that it was definitely not the same fit. I returned them and tried again with a size 9. The 9 fits (and looks like) like last years 8. Overall, I really like the shoes. The arch support is good and they are sturdy. You need to wear them around the house for a few days as just like last year, they are not comfortable out of the box, at least not for me. After that, it's all good. So, you may need to size up a size, and give yourself a couple of days to get the straps loosened up a bit.

I bought these for the warmer weather. I am permitted to wear these to work so I can wear them all day long and they really do well. They have nice arch support and I feel pretty sturdy in them. I have over pronation when I stand/walk (meaning I place weight on the outsides of my feet) these shoes are perhaps not the best for that as I catch myself every now and again rolling outwards. They are probably amazing for under pronation (rolling towards inside of feet) though. Thats the ONLY reason I gave them a 4 - which may not be really fair as an orthopedic cant always be everyone to everyone....FYI all this in mind I find them so nice that I will be ordering another pair!

These sandals are the best ones I have ever worn. They provide arch support that prevents my feet from hurting even after hours of wear. My rheumatologist recommended them to me because my arches were hurting so badly.

These flip flops only come in whole sizes so I ordered a half size down [I ordered a 6 when I usually wear a 6.5]. The overall length of the sandal was correct for my foot. However, the placement of the arch did not feel right and the material between the toes was too tight. In addition, the placement of the material between the toes is set back too far. I do not have long toes and there's too much room between the tips of my toes and the front of the sandal. I decided not to try these in a 7 because I feel that the way this sandal is proportioned, it would not be right.

I have been wearing Vionics since they were Orthoheel. By far the Tide II is probably the most comfortable and supportive Vionic there is. Because of plantar facitis and fallen arches, this brand is all I wear....summer sandals, winter shoes/boots and slippers. I will continue to wear them until someone can equal what Vionic does. I did notice when the company went from Orthoheel to Vionic, the arch support is not as good, not bad, but not the same. I wear a 10 medium and the Tide II fits well. I have no complaints about the materials, these wear forever. As a matter of fact I still have 2 pairs of Tide I. The enclosed flat shoes need a touch more support.

Too much of a good thing! The insane arch support felt good initially, but after a couple hours, it feels like there's a tennis ball under my foot. Going back. Cute design for a comfort flop, though!

I love this shoe! I do feel as if the arch support has maybe faded a bit or just wasn't as high as some of the other styles. I have had these shoes for about a year now and love them. When I put on my other Vionics they seem to have higher arches. I don't know if that is because I wear this pair so much more or not. But I can wear these shoes all day and not be in pain! Absolute miracle shoes for me!

I have two pairs of these and really like this sandal. My older pair seems to have more support than the newer pair. I have gotten these very wet and they dry nicely. My feet are narrow and I wish there were two options of fit similar some of the shoes.
