At first I loved it. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and high arches, so the arch support in these flipflops felt really good. But after a couple of days of wearing them in the house, my feet started to hurt, because the rise of the shoe didn't quite align with my arch. So, alas, they must go back. BUT I think they are really worth trying out: the cushioning is great and, if the curve of the shoe fits the curve of your foot, you'll be very, very comfy in these.

Great shoe. Arch support is comfortable, like a real shoe, not a flip flop. True to size.

I have 7 pairs of Tide II sandals. I love them! Can wear them everywhere for long periods of time and never have sciatic or knee pain. If I switch to another type of sandal or shoe, I almost immediately feel the pain. I was introduced to this brand by my podiatrist after he confirmed they would help with pronation and chronic sciatic pain. I cannot say enough about them; do not hesitate, you will love them.

I usually never write reviews but I relied heavily on reviews of this product before buying so I hope my feedback can be equally helpful to someone else. Many people complained about the new design of these shoes. I have a moderate sized arch and find that the arch support on this new Tide II is perfect for me. If you have very low arches it may be too much. Very high arches maybe not enough. As for sizing. I am normally a 7.5 and was advised by the Vionic folks to go up to a size 8. I love that Zappos offers free shipping and returns because this allowed me to order size 7 and 8. The size 7 was perfect for me. I really love these shoes. I often have trouble with flip flops because my feet are a little turned out and often my foot goes one way and the shoe goes the other. These shoes stay perfectly aligned to my feet. I would really recommend these shoes. They seem to be of good quality and I expect they will last a long time.

This is my first pair of Vionic shoes and my flat feet really love them! Vionic recommends wearing them just a few hours a day to start since the fit is quite different than a traditional flip flop, but they already feel really good. My feet are on the wide side and the width of these flip flops is just right. :)

I absolutely ADORE these shoes! I ordered the lilac, and unfortunately the color of the footbed began to fade within hours of wearing them. I called Zappos to discuss this and Heather immediately offered to send me a new pair. She didn't want me to return them; she said just donate them to someone who may need new shoes. So I was sent a new pair, same color. (And found a very grateful friend who appreciated new shoes.) Unfortunately these also faded on the footbed. I decided to keep this pair but called Zappos to discuss. They again offered to refund me my $$. I spoke with Stephanie this time. I am very happy with the customer service and will order more of the same shoe in the future. They fit well and the arch support is wonderful.

These felt like heaven the first time I put them on! I have a super high arch and most shoes and insoles for "high arches" don't even touch my arches, but these do. They immediately aligned my hips and knees correctly. I can tell the texture in the sole will take some getting used to, but my soles need to toughen up for the beach anyway. I have had arch and knee (patella) problems since I was a teenager. For decades I managed the pain with tape, exercise, and switching out shoes (not wearing shoes without support too many days in a row). For many years the Teva Original Mush, which molded to my feet and provided some arch support, was my go-to flip-flop, and I love flip-flops -- I'd wear them everyday if job and climate permitted, and I always wore them around the house. But as I passed 45 and became overweight for the first time in my life, the Tevas weren't cutting it anymore, and neither were my Birkenstocks, which I always had to add arch support to anyway. These Vionic flip-flops are exactly what I wanted. They're cute, they don't look like orthopedic shoes at all (style is super important to me), and they come in so many colors (color is also very important to me). I'm so glad I gave them a shot despite the price tag. I can't speak to longevity, but after wearing them around the house for less than a day, my knee flare-up already felt better. This is a lot of arch support. It might not be for you. But it's definitely worth a try. It might be just what you need, like it is for me.

This review can actually serve for two pair. After raving to my grown daughter about my Zappos purchase, she searched the catalog and found a pair (my credit card) for herself. Two happy customers, four happy feet. Also, I had an easy exchange with the first pair (I ordered the wrong size); your customer service is the best.

I had received a coupon from Zappo, and had never ordered from them before. Placed an order for Vinoic sandals, which I wear and love the way they feel and the durability of these shoes. Especially since I have issue with my feet. I placed my order one day and was totally shocked when I got them the next day. Great place to order shoes!

I love my new Vionics Tide II navy blue sandals! I first ordered a size 6 as I've always worn a 6, but realized immediately that they were too big--arch and heel were not in proper position. I called Zappos and they told exactly how to send them back, and I had a new size 5 within 2 days. Zappos is fantastic! I ordered a black pair, too!

Comfortable, attractive, sturdy pair of flip flops with slight arch support. Width runs big because, I have a huge wide foot and my foot slid right into this flip flop. This is my 2nd pair. Wish it had more arch support.

Very happy with style, support and comfort. I will definitely be buying more. Typically a size 8 and ordered a 7 and fits perfectly.

I have such arch problems and they feel so good on my feet. I am going to order a pair of their sneakers because I liked them so much.

These shoes have a lot more arch support than most flip flops. A bit dressier than average, I have worn them with skirts and shorts. I am usually not a fan of flip flops because they irritate my toes. These don't!

These are outstanding. I have a heel spur as a result of plantar fasciitis. I limp horribly every morning and after prolonged sitting. It is horrendous. These fit me wonderfully and I love the look of them! I want to purchase more colors! After making these my primary shoes around the house I have noticed that I am not having as many problems with my heel! I put them on the minute I get out of bed and wear them almost all day! I definitely recommend them!

This is my third pair of Vionic Tide II in six weeks. I am dealing with Plantar Faciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear. They are great. The arch support is excellent.

So comfortable - didn't need any break in and gives excellent support for my foot. I wished it didn't have patent leather accent at first but now Im used to is and it can make sandal a little dressier if you'd like.

These are the best flips out there! They have a good supportive sole where others are very flat. I find I have less back pain wearing them. And Zappos has a great variety and they come quickly !

They fit perfectly. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day so comfort is critical for me. They provided support all day and they're not bulky. Love them!!!!

I have worn the Vionic Tide for many years! Great colors and love the style, No back pain any longer after these great arch support shoes!

Arch support and heel cup was just what you need! These are stable, sturdy flip-flops. They are a bit heavy so there was some break in needed around the strap area.

I love this sandal...helps my plantar fasciitis. I normally wear a 9 in sandals and these fit fine. Helps my posture as well. Great brand.

Wore these for 5 hours the first time, no back pain & no leg pain. I will definitely try another style by Vionic again!

I usually wear a 6 & 1/2 but always get a size 6 in the Vionics. Love these durable flops! They have great arch support and I can walk in them all day with out any pain.

Love, love, love these! A wise clerk at the Walking Store made me buy these the 1st time. I thought the high arch was uncomfortable, but she insisted that I buy them and return them if I didn't like them. She was SO right! I suffer from PF and have a really hard time finding flat shoes that are comfortable. Flip flops were out of the question! Now, when I come home from work, I kick off my work shoes and change into FLIP FLOPS...who would have thought these would stretch and relax my feet?!? I just bought a replacement for the pair that I've been wearing for more than 3 years. They are still just as fantastic. I may buy more colors.I also have really wide feet and these manage to accommodate my width, so my little toe doesn't ride on the edge of the shoe...YAY!
