The arch support was to much, after wearing them for several hours the arch of my foot was tender and sore. They hurt my feet so I'm sending them back.

I desperately need shoes with good arch support, but like most Orthaheel styles, these are too loose. For some reason the manufacturer assumes that everyone who wants good support needs it because they are heavier than average and have, for lack of a more pc word, fatter than average feet. These soles are also cut longer than some of the styles in the same size. These are going back.

Just returned two Vionics with Orthaheel. Looks like they changed something from the original. I love my original Orthaheel. Definitely not the same. I am a 6 1/2 and my originals were a 6 and fit perfectly. Ordered a 6 again but a half size too small and no half sizes. I don't think the fit or the quality is up to par with the original Orthaheel. I was very disappointed. I am going to try the Abeo brand.

I so agree with people complaining about the changes made to the Tide sandal. I returned the Tide II sandals I purchased because they just don't have the same kind of arch support they used to have. It's just enough of a design change to make a difference. I think it's an attempt to appeal to a broader market, leaving us high-arched, plantar fasciitis sufferers to find another solution. I even wrote directly to Vionics to ask them to please please please bring back the original Tide. If you don't have high arches, this flip flop will seem great, but if you knew the original Tide, you will be disappointed.

As another reviewer wrote, these are not the original Orthoheel designed and engineered shoes. Bought many pairs when they first came out, years ago. LOVED them. Needed to replace some basic colors, so started out with this style in gold.(Vionic Tide 11 with ortholheel technology) and was very disappointed. The original had excellent outstanding arch support. This has moderate support. Overall cushioning had been excellent, now it is below average. This gold pair is more taupe and the refective gold part is made with a different material-seemingly cheaper. The pattern on the footbed and sole are different. The shoes feels lighter and thiner. Again, the other reviewer got it right when she wrote that it was if they had sanded down the entrie shoe. I could walk in my old Orthoheel thongs all day and would feel great. But not so with these Vionics. This is not Orthoheel. My pair is going back. Guess I'll try Merrill for now.

I used to love the Tide flip-flop by Orthaheel but these are not the same. The strap feels tighter and rubs horribly. They are not nearly as comfortable as they were.

The arch support was great and they look like normal sandals. However, these flip flops squeaked horribly when my feet warmed up!! Then they rubbed and create hotspots on the bottom of both of my feet. Thankfully I was able to change shoes before blisters formed. I would not recommend these shoes for anyone who is going to be outside in warm weather with them on.

I think more ladies are disappointed with the tide 11 than any other summer shoe. The old model had every thing right, and the new one has everything wrong.

The soles of these almost have too much arch support. It was painful for someone with plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma.

I had a pair of actual Orthaheel thong sandal that I bought 2 years ago. They were marked Orthaheel. These are made by Vionic with Orthaheel technology and don't fit nearly as well. The thong and part over the instep is so large that they are actually flip-flops and very uncomfortable. The arch support and heel cup are great but they just don't fit as well as the old ones.

With all of the rave reviews of the Vionic technology, I was expecting something great. While the arch support was above what most shoes have, that's all I can say about the shoe. Not comfortable, not attractive. Not keeping them.

I bought these in hopes that I could wear them around the house and my back would not hurt. However, I have a bunion on my left big toe and these shoes really make my feet feel bad.

I have been wearing Orthaheel sandals for four years now since I developed chronic plantar fasciitis, and I have to say that, despite what Vionic says, they have changed the footbed since taking the company over. There is less arch support and the heel cup is shallower. I have ordered so many styles in hopes that I would find at least one pair that is comfortable and supportive but I have had to return them all. Out of desperation I went on eBay and bought every pair of the original Orthaheel sandals that were left.

These are actually not very comfortable to me. I wore them all of the time at home for about 2 weeks to give myself time to adjust to them but honestly, they just don't work for me. The footbed is hard plastic and the arch support actually causes cramps in my arches. Obviously these are great for some people- hence all of the fabulous reviews- they just aren't for me.

These were really comfortable, but they were so ugly. They make your toes spread widely and your foot just looks huge. Great arch support though!

I wore these around the house and found that the arch tended to roll my foot out to the side. The arch support actually hurt my feet.

These were quite floppy on my foot and made driving a car quite dangerous. The thong was way too loose. I need sandals with backs, but these Vionics run big. I am returning them.

New, and not improved! I own five pairs of the original Orthaheel flip-flops. I loved the new patent strap and ordered a pair. They seemed the same, but after wearing for a few hours my feet were literally flopping-out of the shoe! They are too big! I held up the size 9 to all of my other 9s and the are definitely bigger! Now I am stuck with shoes that are too big! Wear them around your house for hours before you cut the tag off! I am so disappointed. I do have a med/narrow foot.

The arch support was just way to much for my feet, and I have high arches. They're also bulky looking.

The arch in this shoe is very high and very stiff. It was very uncomfortable on my arch! Having had surgery for pronation, I need "soft" arch support.

Not as supportive as the original Tide I bought these to replace a pair of Orthaheel Tide sandals that, once I got used to them, I loved. They were comfortable and supportive. I had to start wearing something with arch support at all times, and they were perfect to wear around the house. Unfortunately, it seems that Orthaheel, now that it's re-branding itself as Vionic, is also changing its footbed. These Tide II sandals were slightly shorter and narrower in the forefoot area than the originals, but the big difference was in the arch. These are less supportive, especially in the forward part of the arch (the part near the toes rather than the heel). For me, that significantly reduced the comfort to the point where I have returned the sandals and am looking for other alternatives. I did like the looks of the sandals, though. The color (I ordered purple) was great.

I ordered 2 pairs of this brand. I have had several in the past. BOTH OF THESE PAIRS FEEL APART WITHIN 1 WEEK. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS BRAND. They must have changed something as this did not happen to the last pairs that I have had!

I ordered this exact pair a year ago, and knowing I loved them, ordered again now. Sadly, they now run wider and I wobble all over the place in them. SO, SO disappointing!! Only order if you have wide feet.

The sandal straps are way too loose. I returned for a smaller size thinking that would help, but it did not. I could not keep sandal on my foot. Sadly had to return again.
