Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
They are fairly comfortable and the price was right. My Only complaint is have is how slippery they are. I find myself sliding on wet floors in my garage or the convenience store when they mop or it rains. Great for sunny days and I keep an eye out for wet floor signs. If it wasn't for that, I would easily give 4 or 5 stars. Thanks for reading
I'd also recommend:

I have nerve damage in both feet because I ordered the shoe size from Skechers that I normally get "Wide". I broke them in (or at least I thought I had) two weeks prior to going on vacation to Europe. Big mistake! I only order 4E now. These shoes are great and I recommend them. Just get your correct size.

Yes they are comfortable, but the Memory Foam traps all the heat of your foot. It actually burns the bottoms of my feet after less then a hour. I am having to return these today. I use to love Sketchers, but since I can't find any tennis shoes without this memory stuff, I am being forced to switch brands. It was good while it lasted, Sketchers.

Do not buy these shoes if you are looking for a 4E, these shoes are much closer to a 2E and are MAYBE an iffy 3E but it would be tight for someone who wears 3E.
This is false advertising.

I have had these shoes a little over three months and the insides are wearing out. The memory foam insert is disintegrating in the one shoe and the other shoe the back plastic is rubbed through and poking into the back of my foot. Would not recommend to anyone.

I've been a loyal Sketchers customer for at least 15 years, my first pair being the Mariner. Sketchers provided me with a comfortable wide and stylish shoe in a market limited in wide shoe choices. For years I was also wearing the Energy Vitality 4984EW, liking them so much that I'd buy multiple pairs when they went on sale. Well, in thier infinite wisdom, Sketchers stopped making them or hiker like them and I was forced to switch. The best I found was this shoe, the Afterburn Memory Fit. What a disappointment. I'm disabled and work in an office environment, so I'm hardly using the shoe to the extent others do and expected them to last at least 2 years like the Energy did. Unfortunately, the shoe lasted 2 months and the side seam separated. I still buy the Stamina Nuovo 50988EW, but have since been very disappointed in Sketchers overall.

Rib on ball of foot separated from sole, only lasted 1 month. Not for heavy use.

First pair was very comfortable to wear daily so wife bought new pair as Christmas present they didn't even last a month and the memory foam in the heel was a big hole and the back wore holes in my socks. Will not buy again

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. However, the treads made a squishing sound when I walked on the kitchen floor. I walked out to my car and they made the same noise on the concrete walk. I turned around and went back inside to change shoes. You will never sneak up on anyone in these shoes. Needless to say, I am returning them.

These shoes felt amazing when I first put them on! I could not believe that a shoe could be so comfortable, but then after a week, after the memory foam had compressed, I realized that the memory foam was the only support the shoes had. It now feels like I am walking on concrete.
I have worn Sketchers for over 18 years, and this is by far the worst shoe I have ever owned.

Purchased these for my husband on 3/6/15 giant holes in the interior foot-bed by 4/18/15. These were worn for everyday casual wear. They were never worn for running.

Very comfortable for first couple of weeks, not good as work shoe since they only lasted just over a month. I will check to see if shoe is warranted.

I work for a delivery company and take several hundred deliveries a week. I've had these shoes for about 3 months and they are worn out. They are hard to get used to as well. Tie them to tight and they will hurt your feet. They don't have enough arch support.

How can shoes be too tight & too loose? Put memory foam in the insoles, that's how. I wear my shoes around the house all day. At rest, the foam would expand and make the shoes feel very tight. When I would walk, the foam would compress and the shoes would become very loose. IMHO, memory foam insoles are a terrible idea.

Don't like them. Didn't realize the inside of the tongue was red. Too much of a spongy feel
