So at first I thought these were an excellent pair of shoes. Comfortable and affordable; however, 5 months in the soles of both detached. I'm not a big walker, maybe 5km a week, so this is way to short a time for a shoe to be breaking down. Very disappointed.

Extremely disappointed in this Sketchers shoe. The quality of Sketchers product has deteriorated in the past few years. I had a Sketchers shoe similar to the Sketchers Afterburn several years ago and they had excellent fit, look, and longevity. I bought my 1st pair of Sketchers Afterburn in 2017. In less than 90 days the memory foam foot bed started breaking down and large chunks broke out. The memory foam foot bed is NOT removable, so I was forced to scrape out the memory foam and replace with a gel insert. Then after 6 months the sole started separating from the upper. I made them my yard work shoes. I thought maybe I just got a defective pair, so in May 2018, I ordered another identical pair. Long story short, that pair fell apart in exactly the same way as the 1st pair. "Afterburn" is an appropriate name for this shoe -- you feel burned after it falls apart in less than a year. Really too bad, because Sketchers used to make a pretty good product. Unfortunately this is not one of them and I will no longer purchase their shoes.

Way too small. These were the suggested replacement for Monaco TR. They are too narrow and the sole is much harder. Sorta squeky hard. Despite claiming "Memory Foam," they are not nearly as comfortable as the Monaco are.

It must be the memory insole - it doesn't work. The heel is too high and my foot kept sliding forward and crunching my toes. tried them for a while but they were still painful to walk in. I gave up and donated them to a clothing drive.

I've always had good luck with Skechers until these. Part of the back ankle support started coming apart and rubbing within a month of getting these. I have a pair of $15 shoes that I bought about the same time that I've worn more then these and are still holding up.

The color of this shoe is described as "Black" However, it's not black. It's black with obnoxious white stitching and a big gray strip of rubber. All black would have been fine. This "style" looks like ass. Don't know how it fit or felt, as I didn't try them on. Not as advertised, or what I thought I was ordering.

Total garbage, didn't even last 4 months. The "gel insert" is a total gimmick. I guess it felt nice at first, but it wore out in the first weak of wear and the shoe itself broke down soon there after. Specifically, whatever they used to construct the upper heal/ankle support is the world's flimsiest material supported with the worlds most painful piece of plastic insert. I can't even put them on without them hurting my arches and back of my ankle. Disappointing to say the least. I'm 5'11 190 lbs. I used them in a laboratory with hard floors. Never took them hiking or "offroad" but I do quite a bit of walking throughout the day. I know you "get what you pay for", but I didn't even get that with this shoe. Avoid.
