Not an EEEE size. Too small

I’ve been buying these for years and each time I do, it seems like they become more and more cheaply made. The nose of the sole is now glued to the fabric portion of the shoe rather than being stitched, which causes them to fail early. The uppers also feel more rigid (likely from the use of plastic internally) and have little cushioning, causing them to feel less comfortable. All-in-all, they are what they are: a cheap sneaker. Which is why I was glad to get them for a more reasonable price through Zappos, rather than overpaying at a retail store or on eBay. Very happy with Zappos' quick shipping and minimal use of packing material! :-)

I have bought several of these shoes and they are my go to hiking shoes, unless I need the boot height. Great tread! Priced to allow the heavy hiker replacement.

Fit ok but had very little arch support. Less than the year old New Balance shoes I was replacing.

Not wide enough design flaw. Top of sneaker toward toes (where the laces end) does not allow enough width to match the wideness of the sneaker. The design in that spot should be about another half inch or so wider to match the width provided by the rest of the sneaker for the width to actually be experienced in the over all fit. Tight and painful across the top of the sneaker at that specific point. If a larger size was available I would have tried going that route as every other part of the sneaker was very comfortable and I did like the color and look of the design.

These really feel poorly on my feet. I have orthotics and have been experiencing heel pain and I thought these might help. They are really stiff and feel a bit like walking in cereal boxes, that is, no give. My feet actually fall asleep in them while sitting at my desk for a few hours. Told my podiatrist and his advice was to get shoes that make my feet happy. Guess that's what I'll do next.

The shoes are sized right -- neither too big nor too small -- and the style is what I look for in a walking shoe (many sneakers and walking shoes nowadays are downright nauseating to look at, but this model nails it appearance-wise). However, they are uncomfortable. Despite a proper fit, they seem designed to work your toes toward the front of the shoe. I've never quite experienced this dynamic before. It jams your toes into the front. If you're walking down an incline, forget about it -- but even on level ground it's problematic.

Too small

They fit good. They feel good walking. But... After 6 months the left lower has come unglued from the upper. This includes a period where I was injured and spent most days sitting. I usually get a year out of my everyday shoe and since this cost about half as much I suppose lasting half as long isn't as bad as it could be.

I have two other of this exact Skechers shoe in a 10 extra wide and they feel and fit great. They are my favorite shoes, This pair must be sized wrong. My toes hit the end of the shoe and when compared with my other Skechers they are 1/2 inch shorter.

I had this exact shoe on at a local retailer; felt great; $65 locally, Zappos had a great price of $39; received the shoes and they feel totally different, too long and more narrow than the 4E that it's marked as. Definitely not consistent. So I'm done with Skechers, will go back to Nike or New Balance.

Fit and size is good. This however is my last pair of these shoes. I have purchased three pair now, always the same exact size. I just replaced a pair that I bought March 2018 with a this pair pair that I actually purchased in April 2019 (Zappos was down to one pair when I ordered in March I believe). I have never had a problem in the past with these shoes and I in fact left a detailed glowing review in early April 2019 but I have been trying to wear this new pair for three weeks now and the left shoe is killing the outside of my ankle. It is cut/padded wrong or something, just what I cannot tell but my ankle can and it is saying "uncle". Too bad, especially since I have tossed the old shoes. I suppose anyone can turn out a bad pair of shoes and I am probably the guy that will get them...., every time. I'm not sure if I will give Skechers a second chance, being retired I need every dime I spend to bring home value. IMO, this one bad pair cancelled out the value for the others I have bought. Now I am on a quest to find something that will work under actually hiking use, not strolling through the mall. I have resigned myself to the fact that I will have to spend more and am probably expecting way too much from a $40 shoe but I at least want a $40 shoe.

They were great shoes until the sole glue gave up. These weren't my daily drivers so while they are nearly a year old there isn't a lot of wear on them.

Fit is good, hate the memory foam insoles.

Looks great and the price can't be beat. But the memory foam is a terrible, terrible idea. If that "feature" had been more prominently disclosed, I likely would have picked another brand.
