We need a sketcher outlet in the Scranton area. The Tannersville PA outlet does great for servicing the vacationing New York population who owns their secondary homes in the Poconos, mainly because they can buy in PA and dodge the NY taxes. The native Pennsylvanians further in from the border also buy Sketcher products and would like a store closer to home.

If a person did not know you must order a half size smaller they would be disappointed

Due to some foot/pain issues I switched to Sketchers last year and they are a more comfortable shoe than the brand I was buying. I wear a very unusual shoe size (16 4E) and I was glad to find that Sketchers stocks this size in a shoe I can wear at work, sometimes that is. Seems they get only a small number then sell out and they take forever to restock them. I ask why they just don't order more to avoid this and they said they would pass this on. My issue is that I spoke to customer service on the phone and she promised to put me on a notification list for when my size came in. She also gave me a date in April when new ones would come in. I learned that they were apparently late in arriving, according to someone else in CS, and when they arrived this person did not notify me. I emailed them and no one ever responded. I also did a sign up for notification on their system and this failed to work also. I was able to order a pair as I stayed on top of it and not due to CS or their system letting me know. The folks handling the phones are always friendly but their system in following up or notifying customers is not working well.

My only concern is wet and greasy surfaces. I have worn used shoes that were a lot more stable on wet surfaces.

Have bad knees, I like the soft insole to walk on hard surfaces. This was my third pair of similar memory insole shoes, still have all of them.

My left foot is slight curve which makes my big toe hit the hard rubber on the toe area. Not your problem . I would like the shoe with a soft toe area.

I love these shoes!!!! or at least I used to....They look super sharp and feel just right when you put them on when they are brand new. They don't really need a break in time but if they do then they will be broken in within 2 days. I have bought these shoes for the last 2 or 3 years time after time but I am going to stop and let me tell you why. The one bad thing about these shoes is that, in my experience, they wear out fast! It took me a couple years to realize this. Actually, on the contrary, the first few pairs I bought a couple years ago seemed to last longer than they do now by a couple months longer or more. The last four pairs have had to be replaced within ninety days of purchase approximately, which is not durable enough for me. Even though the shoes weren't in need of replacement for ninety days or so after purchase, the shoes actually started falling apart on the inside with big holes inside and the plastic frame of the show exposed within about 30-45 days after purchase. I thought these shoes were durable and long lasting but the last several pairs have fallen apart way too soon and way too easily. I have made the decision to ditch these shoes and buy a pair of Merrell Moab Waterproof Shoes. The Merrell's cost twice as much as these shoes do but seem to last far longer than these shoes do. Time to stop buying these shoes and try the Merells!

Store service was exceptional. Worked with two stores in returning first purchase. In both cases store personnel were very patient and supportive.

Casual. ...too big....like the color. ..would get smaller size....wish I could take back...only wore once.

Laces, which are too long, need to be tightened at each point instead of tightening the whole shoe by pulling once at the end.

I wear them to work all the time. Comfortable, but they feel a little heavy. Definitely the better of the two purchases I made.
