These shoes are worn for working 8 to 10 hours on my feet, and from day one, they are as comfortable as can be. My feet are super wide and finding shoes that fit is difficult. Stores don't seem to stock shoes in wide, so I took a chance and ordered online with perfect results. And the color coordinates well with my work clothes and dockers.

These with memory foam are the best I've found for my job as a Registered Nurse and working 12 hour shifts mostly on my feet.

These Extra Wide shoes are the first brand that are actually extra wide. Other brands that I tried (in wide widths) were either not wide enough, or just to wide throughout.

The size is extremely hard to find, I was surprised to find that Skechers had a size 16. We love schechers and have several pair so when I saw that nice rugged shoe that my picky grand son would wear everyday I thought I found a gold mine. He is loving the comfort of this manly shoe.

Best shoes for the price. Very comfortable and helps with my walking.

I wear them just about everywhere, including trips, camping, and work during firearms instructing and range. I have foot pain issues and Sketchers Memory Fit foam is the only shoes i found that are comfortable and my feet don't ache at the end of the day. I ordered two pair of the After Burn style this time around. One (gray) for casual and the other (black) for work or dress. My original (gray pair) were beginning to wear at the inside of the heel. The material covering the interior heel area should be more durable. The After Burn has a very good aggressive thread pattern. I have a pair of Sketchers loafer style and a pair of brown leather loafer style for dress. The only suggestion I have is to add more foam - it should be a bit thicker. The other suggestion is to make a dedicated water proof hiking boot with aggressive tread and covers the ankle. Perhaps a law enforcement tactical boot? Thanks, Randy Pieper

I've warn three pairs of Sketcher shoes just like these shoes for the last 12 years (Blue, Gray & Brown). I wore them out! I bought three more pairs of this shoe in the same colors. This shoe is even better because the souls have nickel size nodules that push upward into the memory foam with each step which massage the bottom of your feet as you walk.. Call me silly, if you wish: but, just go try a pair and feel for yourself. Also, this model really grips the floor and concrete solid as I walk. I like the "extra wide" fit too. I like my toes to not be cramped or squeezed together. I normally wear a size 11 or 11.5 shoe --- in this shoe, I had to have a size 12 to fit right. Fits great!

The putty-colored sole sides and laces work well with the dark plum (bordering on Sepia-toned) top leather. A great, comfortable sneaker with warm-toned clothing.
