I've been buying the shoes for at least seven years without fail....I will not but any other shoe....this is the most comfortable shoe for walking long distances even after the memory foam wears thin...these shoes last 3-4 months of daily grind...I saw another review complaining that the shoes only lasted a year or something..made me laugh due to their unrealistic expectations...my new balance shoes used to last only around 45 days before a hole above the toes would form...that kept happening whenever I would buy new balance shoes..so I stopped buying new balance shoes and just permanently switched to buying these shoes..and never looked back..there are the best quality shoes period for all day comfort and long walks...they are heavy when new...they look awesome when new...high quality product...buy these shoes and be happy..

Have to return them because of "user error." So why all 5-star rating? Because they deserve it. However, somewhere I read that the Afterburn insoles were removable (not on Zappos). They are not. Reading that somewhere shocked me, so I jumped on them. I should know better. I've been buying nothing but Skechers for years now, but my feet have changed so much for the worse, I have to use an orthotic insole for my severe pronation and over-the-top flat feet. There are no Skechers, to my knowledge, which have removable orthotics.

This is my first pair of Skechers. I have to say that for the low price I'm overjoyed that they are just as good as the old brand (new brand?) I used to wear (and this pair was half the price). Thank you!

Two reasons I purchased this sneaker: 1) the extra wide fit and 2) unlike most sneakers, it has leather over where the big toe rises. (i.e. Most sneakers tear at that point long before the sole wears out.) Recommend Skechers, they are very good all around sneakers/shoes.

I ordered this show twice for my husband in a EE width. Each time it came, it was a EEEE width. Nowhere does it even say that a 4E is available. No one can seem to figure this out at Zappos. My husband really wants these shoes, but in a 2E, not 4E. Sigh...

I bought these Sketchers Afterburn shoes about two months ago and have worn them regularly, walking approximately 6 miles per day. They are very comfortable, fit great, and so far, seem to be wearing very well. These are my first pair of Sketchers, I've been very pleased with the quality for the price and the styling in addition to the qualities mentioned previously. I'll definitely be buying more.

Overall, A nice pair of shoes. I'll be back. Only slight surprise is they're a bit heavier than other shoes.

2nd pair comfortable last ones came apart from the sole on one but hoping for better luck this time price at Zappos was good

I bought these before and I thought they were fine when I put them on, then my left little toe started to hurt, I couldn't take them of where I was and by the time I got home my left little toe was red and blistered. I don't know why one would be narrower than the other, but it was. And I had worn them and they were very dirty so I gave them away instead of returning them. : (

I purchased these for as a gift for my boyfriend. He has a very hard time finding shoes wide enough. The shoe itself fit him well, but the memory foam inside was not cut to the same width as the shoe. He could feel the edges while standing in them. I read this same thing about other people who ordered the 4E width, but thought it would be worth a try. Return and refund process was very easy.

This show was disappointing. I had heard good things about this brand and decided to give it a try. I have very wide feet and to find shoes like these for around $40 seemed too good to be true. Sadly, it was exactly that. The outsoles have started to come apart even though I have had these only since last fall and wear them 3-4 times a week for commuting. The insoles are already a mess. They are a half size too narrow and short. I will not buy again.

My growing son gets a new pair every few months as his feet continue to grow. He wouldn't try any other brand.

Great fit...comfy all day

I have been a New Balance guy for over 20 years and thought I would give these a try. I recently lost a lot of weight and was hurting from also losing fat in my "fat pads" in my feet. The memory foam made me think heck, I'll try it since everyone else has old, thin, hard insoles. Well, that was one of the better decisions I have made in a while because these are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
