I haven't found the perfect bag yet, but the Baggallini Helsinki comes pretty darn close. I've had no reason to use any of my other perfect purses since the Baggallini arrived. I like that the outside pockets are not zippered, and that the interior is not so deep that you need a flashlight to find your wallet. I glued a piece from an old leather work glove to the underside of the strap and it stays on my shoulder just fine. I wish it had a single strap, but the double strap makes for a far more adjustable strap than most. The black cheetah print is really nice! Now if I can just find the perfect small crossbody...

It is perfect! Excellent quality, accurate dimensions, my Samsung Galaxy fits into it perfectly, the zippered pockets are on the sides are perfect for keys, and the side front and back pockets are secured sufficiently for just about anything. And the straps are strong and wide so as to fit properly on your shoulder. Because of the fabric, it is light weight, which is important when carrying a tablet.

I bought this bag looking for an all purpose travel bag/purse for my source trip. It had to have a place to put my 32 oz nalgene water bottle and look nice too. This bag looks sharp and has tons of pockets and places to organize items. It does not have a designated pocket for a water bottle, but the outside pocket will hold one and the center strap keeps it upright, and the pocket is deep enough it won't spill its contents when set down. My only complaint is that this bag is a little heavier than I would like and the strap would be more comfortable if it was a little thicker, more like the Baggalini hobo bag.

This is a fantastically stylish and functional everyday purse. My goal is stylish but casual, and I don't need to worry it's too casual or utilitarian looking. I LOVE bags but take my time to choose well and minimize purchases. A lot of purses I considered were too big, but because I stash an epinephrine kit I can't go too small, either. The exterior seam zipper pocket is great for isolating keys that aren't in daily use. I've been carrying this purse daily for about three months, and it's holding up very well.

Great bag! I usually carry Longchamp bags but wanted compartments for traveling. This is lightweight and comfortable to carry. The strap is 1.25" wide so it doesn't dig into my shoulders, and long enough, something I don't find often (I am 5'8"). The black on black print is smooth and looks great. The hardware is nicely polished and the main zipper is metal. The compartments are easily accessible and large enough to be useful. The additional zippered pouch is detachable and there is another area to attach keys. The bag appears to be nice quality at a very fair price.

Had been looking for an all-purpose cross-body bag for winter travel in Europe, which could be worn over a coat. I’m 5 ft. 9 in. tall and a bit busty and not all cross-bodies fit that bill! I wanted the main compartment zippered for security. I was overseas for more than three weeks, and really wanted to bring just ONE handbag if possible. Suitcase space was at a premium! The Helsinki is super-lightweight, has its own interior card sections like a wallet, plus a detachable zippered wallet pouch. I feel its styling is sharper and more versatile than some of the other Baggallinis – more real handbag look, less multifunction / diaper-bag tote. (Not knocking a multi-tote! It's just not always what you need.) I got this in Black with silver hardware. I was able to use it for outdoor treks, over a puffy coat, and quickly adjust it for indoor use – on shoulder or elbow or cross-body. It looks chic enough to get away with at dinner. I fit my anti-scanning protective cards or sleeves easily into the card slots – and did not need to bring a separate wallet. My giant iPhone Plus had a padded large inner pocket – and fit easily in the outside spots; this also worked for my camera. You can fit a regular water bottle and small umbrella in the outer pockets. The many pockets are THE BEST! Note it has a zippered back sleeve that can be closed for use as a pocket, or opened to fit over your suitcase handle for airports runs (like a good carry-on bag). I compared several bags – from Baggallini and Longchamps, etc. – in cross-body and tote styles, but the Helsinki was just perfect for me. I’m generally a big, luxury bag gal, but this one is JUST large enough for daily use. Now I switch my handbag out to bring this to the gym - easy to clean, securely closed. I ended up just loving it and am back to buy more colors in the gold hardware. Not for travel, just because it’s dope, ha.

I like this bag for its versatility when traveling. It looks good with either casual outfits for day and for evening wear. It has a flat bottom which makes it easier to set under your feet on the airplane or in a restaurant. It also has a place for my IPad and is just the right size for all my travel essentials including a camera.

This is a great bag. I love the compartments and zippers and the back pocket with the zip out bottom that allows the bag to be placed over the handle of wheeled luggage is pretty nifty. The fabric feels nice and sturdy and looks good enough for business use. The only drawbacks for me and they are minimal is that the bag is a tad heavy and the strap gets a little twisted. Seems I have to untwist it a lot. Would be nice if the strap was actually a bit wider and maybe a little sturdier or made out of a different material that wasn't so slippery because then it might not twist around so much. Bought the bag for travel and have been using every day for since I got it. Have received several compliments. Overall, it's a great bag and holds pretty much everything I need.

Wonderful bag. A bit bigger than what I normally use but I am going to order another color for summer because it is lightweight and easy to get into.

Great bag - it worked well for traveling with a Kindle, water bottle, and a variety of other things. Comfortable to wear and lightweight. Only downside - way too pricey!

I am happy with this bag. I am on the road daily and sometimes walk pretty far with rolling briefcase and this bag. I like that it fits over the briefcase handle, so handy. I like the sturdy yet attractive material. This is a handy travel bag which never shouts "notice me!" However, if noticed, looks good. I like that the bag itself is not heavy.

When it came, I thought "oh, this is too big." But the minute I dumped my stuff into it, I needed every nook and cranny. Just love the pouch for the iPad. And the very first day I had a sample in a grocery store and got the tomato sauce on the liner. No problem, used a spray remover and it came right off.

I use another Baggallini (high-rise) for travel when I need a smaller bag - and wanted to find something that could hold a bit more, including my dSLR. I like the Helsinki, but don't love it. The colors are brighter on screen than they are in real life. The kiwi is more old gold than brighter, clear gold in the photo. The pockets do eliminate the need for a wallet (which I appreciate when traveling), and the interior zipper pocket is quite large. I don't need the slot for the tablet/e-reader, but haven't decided if I'll try to take it out or not. It's definitely roomy enough for an iPad 2. The side zipper pockets are a decent size, but putting anything with bulk in them distorts the lines of the bag, and takes up interior space. They're good for a passport or boarding passes, though, and would help keep them from getting jumbled and lost. The front pocket is a nice size, and the buckle flap is nice to keep things somewhat contained, though it does definitely hinder the slide in/slide out ease. So it's both a blessing and a curse, I suppose. All in all - it works well for a large size bag. I appreciate that it's significantly lighter when empty than my normal bag (Orla Kiely Slingtote Midi).

I needed a bag large enough to hold my water, tissues, wallet, extra mask...... And I wanted it to be soft for comfort against my body, with a strap long enough to carry on my shoulder, but adjustable for hand or crossbody wearing. Plus, I was looking for a nice neutral color so it would work over time. This bag met all my needs, plus it has style!

I prefer small bagg backpacks aka slings, but you can't wear even the small ones in museums, and my current cross body bagg is too small for my tablet which grew about an inch in each direction. So I wanted a larger crossbody when the time comes when we can go back to museums (woo hoo) as I use it to take pics. I love the front and back open pockets, with light closures, which allow you to get at things you need like maps or guides, but aren't really worried about being swiped. Then the top closes with a zipper (I will NEVER understand top closures without one, see swiping concerns) and inside there is yet another zipper one, the tablet pocket and then smaller card pockets, etc. The end pockets also zip and that is for a water bottle and snack bar.

This was a Christmas gift last year in charcoal and would love one in this color. The side pockets are perfect - one for keys, one for cell phone. Plenty of room inside and out. The wristlet comes in handy as well. Just may make that purchase...didn't receive incentive for this review.

Just got it & have used it for about a week. So far it's very good as far as usability. Many great compartments inside & out. The side zips are perfect for things you want to find quickly. I use one for my water bottle which fits completely inside & doesn't stick out at all. I like that a lot. No worries about getting caught & falling out. The inside is perfect for wallet & phone. The side inside pocket for tablet or kindle is great. I'd this bag an A+ !

In reading other reviews, I was a little afraid it would be too big. But it is the perfect size, even for everyday use. Love the large pockets on the outside for easy access to my phone. Lightweight fabric... I just love it!!!

I am happy that I purchased this bag. This one makes about six baggalini bags.

A friend had this bag and I loved it....it's great for everyday and holds plenty...love my large bags but this is awesome...

This is my third Bagallini purse in the last 6 years, and I will never buy another brand. They last for years! They are sturdy, washable, fashionable and I LOVE the pockets. A place for everything and everything in it's place!

I now own it in 3 colors. I love that it has an adjustable cross body strap. All of the various pockets keep me organized. It's large enough but not too big. I use it as my everyday bag. I highly recommend it.

I bought this bag as a gift for a friend, and she loves it! Nice and roomy, light-weight, plenty of compartments that are easy to use. She is also in love with the champagne color, perfect for summer, but just off-white enough to keep stains from showing.

Bought for my cousin....on its way to her. Gorgeous!
