Love these Brooks. I'm a fitness instructor and these are the only shoes I wear for high impact classes. They are also a great outdoor running shoe for those who need extra heel strike cushion and tend to over pronate. Go a half size up for toe box room. I get lots of compliments on the fun color.

My normal shoe size is 9W or 9.5 W, depending upon the brand. For this sneaker, I ordered a 10W and a 10.5 W. The 10W was too small but the 10.5 W fits perfectly. The sneaker is lightweight but very supportive; thinking of purchasing a 2nd pair.

I love these tennis shoes! They are super comfortable and great arch, which is I look for in tennis shoes since I have flat feet! I will definitely buy Brooks again after this pair! Also, I like the bright pop of colors!

I can honestly say these are the best sneakers that I have ever worn. I wear a size 11 1/2 and ordered a twelve. I have circulatory problems in my toes and have had bunion surgery on both of my feet years ago with recurring pain at times...therefore, finding comfortable shoes that feel good and on a secondary note, look good is an ongoing process. I love this shoe. Huge kudos to Zappos for making it so easy to order various shoes in various sizes allowing the consumer to, by trial and error find the right shoe, and all with free shipping. You have become my only shoe shopping venue. Thank you!

Love the shoe love the color. I have worn Kayano Asics for years...being disappointed with this years version I tried the Ravenna 5 after reading a review of another customer. I am very happy. I have a wide toe box and a high arch. These fit great and have felt great walking.

This is my third pair of Brooks Ravennas. They are, by far, my favorite running shoe. I have tried a few other brands which always lead to shin splints for me. In fact, I was starting to get some pain in one of my shins with my second pair of Ravennas after about a year of sporadic use and it became clear that I'd worn them out and it was time for a new pair. I've run about 30 miles in the new pair with no shin pain so far!

I have bad knees and arch support is essential. These shoes were amazing from the moment I put them on. This is my first pair of Brooks, but it won't be my last. I wear a size 12M, and the size is true, while the support is awesome. Highly recommended!

My first running shoes were the Brooks Ravenna 2, then 3, and I should've stayed with them! At the specialty running shoe store's instruction, I hopped to the Defyance, and they hurt my feet from the first time I tried them (couldn't return them because I was going out of town for the holidays for a month over school break, to the other coast where there were no branches of the running shoe store). Then I was put into some New Balances that again hurt my feet and even ripped because I have wide feet. I ran screaming back to the Brooks Ravenna, and bought the 5. Thank goodness! Like the other reviews, these shoes were like running on clouds compared to my New Balances! Awesome. One caveat: the sizes in Brooks are a little large. I wear a 5 1/2 or 6 in normal shoes, and a 7 in the New Balance running shoes, but a 7 1/5 in the Brooks.

I have been wearing Brooks for several years now and have always been very pleases. The Ravenna 5 is no exception. Comfortable from the very first time I put them on and provides all the support I need to jog. I highly recommend.

Excellent shoes. Just starting running went and got fitted for real running shoes after having a lot of heel and foot pain. First time wearing these the pain in my feet is gone. I need to buy another pair to wear everyday! Love my first pair of Brooks definitely wont be my last.

After buying and sending back approximately 20 pair of tennis shoes, I ended up with these. I don't like heavy/hot shoes. These were for walking - took them out of the box on a cruise and walked 2-3 miles everyday and love the shoes. They're cool, lightweight, have good support - I usually have something bad to say about every tennis shoe, but not this one. Love it!

I purchase Brooks to either run in or to work in (I am on my feet all day at work). These shoes are like walking on clouds. Very comfortable for work and I like them for running as well. The tough part is deciding whether or not they will be work shoes or running shoes. The colors are great in person, also.

Thought I would try a pair of these. I always go with Saucony and wear a 12 M. These were a nice shoe but seemed to run tight in the width for me. I would have ordered the wide width but have a narrow heel and need a roomy toe box. So hope that helps some of you.

This is my third pair of Brooks. They are comfortable, offer great arch support, and wear fairly well. I am not a runner, but I walk many miles in a week and I wear them for boot camp as well. I have one complaint, that is in both my previous pairs I get a hole in the mesh top of the shoe, where my big toe hits. If this happens in mild use, I am unsure how they would hold up for a "true" runner. I have bought pair #3 though, so that speaks a lot to how I feel about the shoe!

Super comfortable shoe; this is my second pair. I wish there were a more conservative/attractive color choice, though.

I really like this shoe. I have flat (ish) feet and I need lots of arch support. This shoe fit my foot very well and I like that the ankle support is solid and fits higher up the back of my foot. The colors are also not too bright which is nice.

I had worn another well known brand of sneakers for years. I tried Brooks Ravenna and became an instant fan. These shoes are stylish, comfortable and hold up much longer than the other brand I had worn. I have often had people ask me where I got my sneakers because they like the way the look!

I thought that the Brooks Ravenna was recommended for flat feet, but found that this shoe does not have sufficient arch support for my flat feet. I have to return them.

I was really excited to receive these shoes. Unfortunately they don't fit properly. One fits more like a 9 instead of a 9.5 and they don't provide the arch support I need.

They are quite comfortable. I do think the back of the shoe is to low and not very supportive of the ankle. I will wear them and then go back to Asics.

So I am in the minority here, but I really disliked these shoes. First, and this is not a problem per se, but I usually wear 9.5 but in Brooks, I am a 10. Second, if you prefer or are used to a more minimal type shoe, don't fall for the line that because these are light, they are comparable. They are light, but somehow manage to be bulky. My toes go numb, my ankles hurt, and I have shin splints in these shoes. I am experienced runner who runs 40 miles a week and I have never had the aforementioned issues before these shoes. I switched to these because Mizuno quit making my favorite wave elixir. I think the pure cadence may be the shoe for me. Got a pair on ebay for cheap to try out.

I discovered Brooks shoes a few years ago. My last pair was the Ariel 12, and I absolutely loved it. I have wide feet, a bunion, and plantar fasciitis, and the Ariel fit wonderfully and helped with my plantar fasciitis. The Ravenna did not compare, my plantar fasciitis has been horrible. The fit is okay, but my feet ache at the end of every day. I just ordered a new pair of the Ariel's!

This is the absolute worse shoe I have ever purchased. I am a nurse and I purchased these as work shoes. I am on my feet 12 hours a day. I ordered my first pair July 2nd, by July 8th I was on the phone with Zappos getting a new pair! The soles were coming unglued in 6 days! Don't get me wrong, the shoes were absolutely comfortable, but the quality just isn't there. Zappos was wonderful and sent me a new pair for free and I sent the old ones back. My next paid, within 3 months, these soles are coming unglued, the mesh on the outside is frayed and coming part and on my left shoe you can see my socks. I am sure Zappos would make it right again, I just don't want to abuse the situation. I will definitely keep ordering from Zappos, but these are my last Brooks I will ever buy.

Had a pair of Ravenna before that I loved. Assumed these would fit the same, but they didn't. My foot was swimming in them. Not sure why they fit so differently than the last pair I had. I had to return them.
