These just arrived yesterday and I have only worn them in the house and out to the bus stop to get my kindergartener. They are very comfortable and I LOVE the colors. I got the Ombre/Blackberry Cordial/Bright Rose. Beautiful. I bought them to start a running program, but I actually know nothing about running so I am hoping I made a good choice. If not, I will just be happy wearing my lovely, comfy shoes any old time.

Started my running "hobby" in the Ravenna 4s, with a fitting in a specialty running store. The 4s are a memory, and I'm loving the new, more feminine color assortment available in the Ravenna 5 series. Like others have said, these are ready to go and comfy out of the box. I popped out the factory insoles, slid in my Superfeet, and off I went. No discomfort, no rubbing, no blisters. :) This makes me a happy girl.

I love these sneakers! They have great support and feel comfortable right out of the box. I find they run true to size and are perfectly comfortable with a light athletic sock. I also get lots of compliments on them. Buy these. You will not be disappointed and they are worth the money.

These sneakers felt great right out of the box. I bought them for my daily walks. I wore them to take out of town guests sightseeing in NYC and couldn't believe how great I felt after traipsing through the city all day. I'm buying another pair!

I love these shoes - in fact when the box arrived (so quickly - thanks Zappos!) I immediately thought that the order had been messed up and that the shoes couldn't possibly be in there because the box was too light. Imagine my happy surprise when in face the shoes were inside and were simply very lightweight! Despite their airiness, there is a lot of great support. I've run a few half marathons in them and they are still going strong. Will definitely buy again and very enthusiastically recommend! For runners order 1 full size up to accommodate foot swelling.

Great shoes. Immediately comfortable to run in, no break-in period required. Lightweight, adequate support (I am flat-footed). Probably my favorite pair of brooks that I've had so far.

I love these Ravenna 5's! These are my first pair of Brooks shoes and after trying many different brands over the years, I am sure these will be my favorite. I am not a runner, but do many miles of power walking every week and I have very picky feet after several surgeries. These shoes offer great lateral support for my mild over-pronation without being overly structured or clunky (which the Ghost seemed to be). They have wonderful cushioning, just the right amount of flex and a great lacing system (with an extra tab on the tongue for holding laces in place). I'm also impressed with the cushion and bounce-back I feel when my heel strikes the ground. I ended up with a size 9 (my norm for athletic shoes) but went with the Wide because the Medium was just too narrow. Perfect fit and perfect performance! Thanks again Zappos for offering such outstanding service!

I love these shoes! I walk A LOT and my feet have worn very thin, but I feel like I'm walking on air when I wear these! They have enough wiggle room for my toes and I can also wear orthotics once I remove the sole that comes with the shoe. This is my third pair - second in this color - and I will buy them again.

I used to wear Saucony but the new generation shoes were way too heavy and stiff with all the excess support, etc. love these new shoes - light weight, no break in necessary, and nice and snug around my heels. No blisters!

I LOVE THESE SNEAKERS! In fact, this is the second pair of these exact same sneakers I have purchased from Zappos! I run distances and purchased these to train for my next half marathon - I can't wait to run the race in my RAVENNA's!

These are very comfortable and they come in great colors. I have been running in the Ravenna for a few years - I switched over from Ascics Kayano. I did not need stability shoes but I could not find one I liked until the Ravenna.

I've been searching for a pair of shoes that fit like this for months! I wish I would have tried on a pair of Brooks sooner! I have flat feet and I use custom orthotics and with my orthotics in these shoes fit like a glove. Other shoes enhance the orthotics and they hurt my feet but these are so comfortable and they have the perfect about of cushion. Since they are so lightweight they are very versatile and I love them for kickboxing, cardio and strength training workouts.

These shoes are a great update to the Ravenna 4s. They are super soft and they finally made the laces a little shorter. The colors are fun, too. They needed no breaking in, and I was able to go out on a 4 mile run right away.

These are super comfy, light and I just love the color combo. I wear a size 7 and these run very true. Highly recommended!

Love the Rav 5s. Had the 3s, skipped the 4s, but these are great running shoes. Excellent support. I have high arches, and these fit perfectly. Using them to train for another marathon.

I have been running with Brooks Adrenaline GTS line, but the new upgrade was horrible for my feet. After trying several other Brooks models or even other brands, I stuck with these. They are very cushy, which helps tremendously with the way I pronate. I wish they came in a narrower selection, as the medium (the narrowest I could find) is slightly too wide for me. However, I just put on an extra pair of socks and it's great! I don't particularly care for the color selections, but since I care more about comfort than fashion when running the color of the shoes isn't a hang up. I would definitely recommend these!

These are the best tennis shoes that I have bought in a long time. They are lightweight and incredibly comfortable. They are a perfect fit! I would definitely recommend anyone interested in getting these shoes, to get them. You will not be sorry!

I ordered a full size larger than my shoe size like I normally do and they fit perfectly. Lots of room in the toe area and so cushiony in comparison to my last pair of shoes. My knees are the greatest but I didn't have any knee pain after running in these. Look forward to my future miles in these shoes!

My feet are extremely picky when it comes to shoes, especially my work out shoes. I have no problems with these; the amount of cushioning and support is perfect for me. I use them for jogging and weight lifting.

I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. I was having knee problems in my previous shoes, but haven't had any problems since I have started wearing Brooks.

This is my third pair of Brooks Ravennas (I had versions 3 and 4 previously) and I love them! I completed four half marathons in my previous pairs and this pair is fairing well throughout my current training regimen. I wear a 7.5 in casual shoes and go a size up for my running shoes (8.5 fits perfectly for the Ravennas). I'd highly recommend these shoes for any endurance training. They're durable and extremely comfortable for a slight overpronator. I wasn't crazy about the white laces on the coral and blue version but easily swapped them out some blue laces. Overall if you haven't tried Brooks yet, you can't go wrong with the Ravennas.

I love this shoe! I am overweight with knee and back problems and this shoe alleviates most of the pain I normally have when walking any distance. This is my 4th pair of the Ravennas - I get the new model every year. Definitely worth the money!

I absolutely LOVE the Ravenna shoe. I bought 2 pair of the Ravenna 4 on Zappos when they were on sale. I just ran my first 10K with them yesterday and they were GREAT! My feet didn't hurt at all and they never have. I have used the Nike Glide and Nike Lunar Eclipse in the past (specifically for running) they were OK but not as fantastic as the Ravenna's. I can say with absolute certainty that they are by far my favorite. Just a few details about me...I overpronate and I have practically zero arch and have been running for about 2.5 years now. I'm no expert but I have to say that the shoe definitely makes a huge difference in your run. I HIGHLY recommend this shoe!

I wear 11 wide and have difficulty finding a shoes. After trying 6 pairs I FINALLY found Brooks. This shoe is the best! It's very supportive, yet its slim and doesn't make my feet look even bigger. I'm not a runner. I needed a shoe for walking and daily workouts. The Brooks Glycerine was a great fit too, but I just can't do those colors!! I'm hooked on Brooks!
