These shoes have been great for my wife. They are exactly as advertised. She loves them for running and walking.

This shoe feels like a glove. I have never had Brooks before and was shocked at how much more comfortable they felt compared to Asics. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I have worn these a couple of months now and will order another pair. I love this color, but wish they would offer it in more than one color. This pair offers a lot of stability while being flexible at the same time. Felt true to size. I ordered these because of the good reviews and have been very pleased since I have a lot of foot issues.

Prefer the Adrenaline GTS because the toe box is more secure on my foot. This one is comfortable, but felt loose in the toe box. I also think I need the support styles since I have minor overpronation issues. This style is a neutral style. Also, I order a full size larger in Brooks.

Tried several brands before I settled on the updated Brooks Defyance 7. My last sneaker was the Brooks Defyance 6. I use for walking outside and on the treadmill. I had to size up to a 7. Usually wear a size 6.5 in sneakers, 6 in shoes. They are light but supportive. The only thing I would change is the color. Wish companies would keep the colors more subdued. Brooks is now my first choice in sneakers.

Exactly what I was looking for. I have high arches and this shoe has been great. I still have to add my arch support though, which is not uncommon. Wish it came in different colors. Love VIP Zappos, LOVE the next day VIP delivery even better!

I use this sneaker for my workouts and they are so comfortable and so cushioned that I walk more on the treadmill good fit, and my feet feel so good afterwards. I have a lot problems with my feet and these sneakers really help.

This second pair I have owned love the feel from out of the box and even after months of wear. I have arthritis in my feet and these allow me to run, jump, walk with no pain. I am very pleased.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I can now run again without hip and knee issues. Great support, great looking.

LOVE these shoes. I wore the older style of these and just bought these a month ago. I run in them everyday and have not had any issues with them. Great shoe! I wish they would make the shoe in another color other than white background though. The base color is cute, but the white gets dirty too easily.

Love my Brooks as always. Best cross trainer shoe I have ever worn. Walk three miles a day and Jazzercise one hour a day, five days a week. I'm 72 years old. Zappos is the only way to shoe shop!

This is my second pair of Defyance. I wore out version 6, so this year, I'm wearing version 7. I like this one better than the 6. Better color and a more sleek design. The fit is true to size and width. The cushioning and support are wonderful. This shoe is also one of the few left with a 12mm drop. Most companies have gone to 10mm, 8mm, and lower. This is a great basic well-cushioned and supportive running shoe. Thanks Brooks and Zappos!

These are like running on air. Great cushion and arch support, and the wide toe box (I have fairly narrow feet) prevents that third-toe-blister you get from street running, and just overall so comfortable. I usually jog/walk 3-4 miles a day and with these shoes, my feet/knees feel great the whole time and the whole day after!

This shoe runs almost a full size smaller than marked. Although it fit, it felt very stiff on my foot and not comfortable. I finally settled on the Ravenna which feels a bit wider and cushier.

I liked the fit but it was a bit short. I like athletic shoes roomy, and find that Brooks fit about a size smaller than my normal size. This shoe was stiffer than I would like. Good color combo! I have neuromas and difficult feet.

I used to wear Brooks Adrenaline but now need a neutral shoe for an orthotic. These fit just like the Adrenaline did. They are one of the few that fit my narrow heel. I just wish that there were more and less boring colors available.

The shoe is basically attractive and well made. The problem Is that there is too much material on the inside of the tongue which results in the creasing of that material which results in a large red irritated area on the top part of the foot under the tongue. I've worn the shoe with both medium weight and thin socks and it doesn't help. Upon visual inspection it's easy to see the cause of this problem. This is my 3rd pair of Brooks and I haven't had this problem before.

I ran in Brooks Adrenaline for just about 8 years and, when I started getting into even longer distance running, it was clear I needed a shoe with a little less support. When I switched to the Defyance, I had no more IT band or hip flexor issues -- I was happy as a clam and have worn them ever since (about 5 years). This latest version immediately felt wrong but I assumed the feeling was due to the breaking in period. I wish I hadn't because, especially on my trail runs, the shoe provided no ankle stability. Whenever I hit a root or stone, my ankles strained and twisted. I switched back to my old shoes (Defyance 5) and the stability was there - no more ankle twists on tiny roots. But, unfortunately, the damage was already done and now, after five years, I'm back to the old injury.
